Maarten is a great host! Responds quickly and is very friendly. Great! The location was beautiful. Rural with a nice view. We enjoyed it!

We had a great time with 7 creative ladies. Lovely spacious house with a large dining table on which all our sewing machines and accessories could be placed. Super neat house and very friendly helpful owners. Thank you for the good time!

Very beautiful and complete house. Stylishly renovated with nice kitchen and bathrooms, nice sofa and nice large table. Games and television provided. Only tip if you book in winter is to bring slippers, the floor in the living area is cold! Furthermore, highly recommended for a family weekend. Belt-schutsloot is also very idyllic, from the garden you walk a beautiful route along the water, a bit like a giethoorn but without tourists. Recommended!

We had the pleasure of spending a few days there with the family. A jewelry box is an island of tranquility. It was a big edge. We'll be back.

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

We had a wonderful vacation. The vacation home is exceptionally well equipped with everything you need and very comfortably furnished! You feel right at home! The contact with Renske was super nice and reliably fast. You can only recommend the house!!!

We loved every moment of our stay in Edwin's beautiful home! We were arriving earlier than the check in time, and Edwin made sure he was there to personally greet us and let us check in early. He was so friendly and helpful, with lots of lovely recommendations. He also left us enough food in the fridge for a couple of great breakfasts, which was much appreciated after some time travelling, and even some wine and beer for us too! The home was just lovely, beautifully taken care of but with plenty of charm. There was so much room to make ourselves at home, with a big comfy bed, cute little dining area, and the beautiful roof terrace to enjoy. The kitchen had everything we needed, great if you don't want to eat out all the time! We learned that Edwin is an artist and there was lots of his beautiful work displayed in the home which was a really cool touch. We were honoured to be your first Australian guests and we will be back next time we visit - we loved every moment!

We greatly enjoyed our family weekend in this lovely house. It is decorated with a lot of care and love, which immediately made you feel warm and welcome. Rick and Aleida are incredibly friendly hosts, easily accessible and clearly involved. The house was sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. The surroundings are beautiful — perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!

It was super clean and the lake was just in front of the window! Perfect place to relax.

This back house is beautiful and very comfortable. Everything is available for a very enjoyable stay. We felt completely at home and comfortable inside. Due to the weather, we did not make extensive use of the garden, but it was also very spacious and beautiful. In short, we can't think of any downsides and only recommend Janet's back house to everyone.

We were immediately welcomed and welcomed very warmly by Ympkje. The apartment was beautiful as shown in the pictures and very very clean. In the bathroom, everything you needed was there. Lots of towels, hair dryer, shower gel & shampoo. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking. The apartment was very stylishly furnished and we immediately felt comfortable. On the terrace you could enjoy beautiful hours of sunshine. Ympkje was very attentive and always asked if everything was okay. We were able to rent bikes and explore the area. We will definitely recommend the accommodation and will also be happy to come back !

We had a very nice stay at the apartment on De Vaart. The center of Assen is within walking distance and there are a lot of fun things to do. The apartment itself has all the comforts and we slept wonderfully. Certainly subject to repetition.

We had a great stay, the house is very spacious and cosy and we felt at home straight away, the host is friendly and helpful. We liked the location with three beautiful national parks within short driving distance. Everything was clean, beds were great, we would highly recommend the place.

We absolutely loved our stay at Baukje’s place! The apartment is beautifully designed, super cozy, and located in a quiet yet convenient neighborhood. Baukje is a truly warm and thoughtful host – we felt welcome and at ease right from the start. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and even better than expected. We’d come back in a heartbeat and can genuinely recommend staying here!

Absolutely recommended! Upon arrival, Tineke received us directly friendly. The apartment looked clean, bright and very welcoming and is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. It is quiet and offers enough privacy. In the morning, it can get a little noisy from the workshop, which is located directly under the apartment, but this is not unusually disruptive. Despite the village location, you can easily reach other cities, such as Harlingen, by car. We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to come back!

Perfect location to access the Assen circuit. Clean and nice cottage.

We were able to enjoy the most spectacular sunset ever right from the terrace overlooking the IJsselmeer! Great! The house is right on the water. Mur a piece of meadow is in between. For our Labrador dog, who loves the water so much, it was a paradise. A few meters from the house there was a mini beach. There she always chatted and went swimming. When we arrived, there were even dog cups and treats. Really nice! Everything IN the apartment was fine. View of the sea from the sofa and bed. True holiday feeling. Since it wasn't a season yet, many restaurants were still closed. But the good kitchen equipment made it easy for us to take care of us. Our hosts proactively sought contact and reassured several times that everything is ok and we feel comfortable. Thanks! :-) We'd love to come back sometime.

Very short but very comfortable stay, the accommodation and the fabulous location

We stayed at Lily‘s apartment over the weekend and we felt right at home. My first thought was: so beautiful! Damn, we’re only staying for 2 nights 😂 The ocean was so close 🌊 we could even see it from the couch, which was very cozy, and the apartment looked like in the photos. I’m definitely coming back! ♥️

The place was way better than the pictures. Super nice game space. Very large. The pool table was a hit. Everything you needed was there. Sauna is with plunge pool. Everything was neat. Nice extra that there were horses and could pet. Quiet area but with all the facilities you don't necessarily have to leave the cottage. We would recommend it or definitely come back.

Great place for a weekend trip. The flat is nice and Remco is a really friendly guy!

We enjoyed the tranquility, beautiful surroundings and the wellness. Space is clean, everything is present, Ellen and Marcel respond quickly, think along. Ellen is super hospitable and relieved in all aspects. It was fantastic, see you next time!

We stayed for a short 2 days to visit the open day at Meppel NHLstenden with our daughter. It was a perfect place to stay, in the middle of the city where we could walk to everything. Convenient parking garage just a block away. Place looked just like in the pictures, very colorful and quirky.

We loved the fact that there were bikes at our disposal, and also a canoe. Helen brought us a coffee upon our arrival. It was nice to be in an area away from all the tourists.
