My stay at this Airbnb was fantastic! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was incredibly welcoming, and responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. The location was perfect—close to all amenities, yet quiet enough for a peaceful retreat. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the space feel like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay!

Such a beautiful house which looked even better in person. Katy greeted us upon arrival which was a lovely touch & was very responsive throughout our stay. The house is furnished beautifully & is in a great location with Newmarket high street less than 10mins away. We also went into Cambridge which was only a 25min drive. We would love to return, thank you!

House is lovely, very clean and nice little touches! Loads of crockery, serving dish, cooking utensils which are normally lacking! Rooms are all big enough, well decorated and everywhere was clean! Hottub and Spa area was a great highlight! We had a wonderful stay, and there is so many lovely touches, dressing gowns, prosecco and slippers! Loved the area and made friends with all the ducks! Would love to come back in Summer and make sure of all the outside space

Shi & Rob are amazing hosts as well as being genuine nice people. This was our 2nd time to stay at their beautiful AirBNB and great to see that the high standards are still maintained. Weather was a bit chilly despite the glorious sunshine but the central heating was always on to make our stay very comfortable. Thank you Shi & Rob

Absolutely brilliant stay. The lodges are very well built, clean and cosy with great attention to detail. The location has everything you could want from free use of the bikes/boat on the small lake to excellent local restaurants (we ate at the black lion, highly recommended). Very accessible, we visited with my 76 year old Nan who had no troubles getting to the lodge and even made it onto boat! Mark and Stacy were excellent hosts with great communication. Met us on arrival, showed us to our cabin and recommended the local attractions and restaurants and made us feel completely at home. Would love to return with the wider family and book multiple lodges. Very child friendly with a football goal, play area and goats! (The pond is safely secured and would need an adult to open the gate) Can’t wish to return. Thanks for a great stay!

My family and I wanted a large, sociable and peaceful space to be together for the weekend when we were celebrating the lives of our Mum and Dad/Nan and Grandad, and scattering their ashes. The Old School House fully met our needs. It’s a great space for families to come together, had all the home comforts you need and the bonus of a beautiful log fire and fantastic views. Ian was a perfect host - informative, proactive, friendly and not intrusive at a sensitive time. The large kitchen and dining space was great for family mealtimes. The bedrooms catered for us all including young children. Whilst there is only one shower, we organised ourselves so it wasn’t a problem. Two of us also had a lovely long bath in the beautiful bath tub. The village is lovely. Some of the family enjoyed local ales at the pub and we all enjoyed a walk and playing with the children at the local play area. Thanks Ian for a lovely stay.

We loved the cosy cottage and Lavenham. This was our third visit and I'm sure we'll return. Esther communicated very well.
