Waterfront holiday rentals in Wells-next-the-Sea

We had a great stay in Amanda's spotless apartment. Amanda and Dean were very responsive and keen to help resolve a small issue we had with the WiFi during our stay, which was very much appreciated. It is a short walk to Lowestoft high street in one direction, and the beautiful South Beach in the other. As others have said, earplugs will help with the seagulls. Really enjoyed watching the boats in and out of the harbour with the binoculars handily provided in the flat!

Very nice chalet, as described, everybody said how nice it was and how clean and tidy it was, a great time had by all and very well situated close to amenities and also the water. Will visit again, thank you very much for a lovely stay.

It was very bijou ideal for what we required on a weekend away meeting up with great friends. Fantastic location and lots to visit and explore. I would definitely recommend for a couples retreat.

Had a great few days in Hunstanton for Easter with my young family - the apartment had everything we needed, and great location for popping back to during the day

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

A very peaceful and tranquil place to stay overlooking open countryside. Beautiful walks from the doorstep. Well equipped kitchen with a great selection of books and DVDs for a quiet evening in. plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc and lovely clean towels and bedding. Great resource of things to do with maps on your doorstep and a-joining villages. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Laurie and Lucy are very friendly. Highly recommended

Janine was the perfect host for our best friends hen do. The house is incredible, even better than the pictures and it was so well equipped. Communication was great and Janine was very kind throughout. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed in this beautiful little getaway and absolutely loved it! We were really impressed with how clean everything was and how comfy the bed was! The location is perfect. There is a nice little walk to the beach which is about 2mins!! And a lovely little pub enroute, The Oddfellows which we definitely recommend a visit to! Everything is really easy to get to by foot and the neighbourhood is so nice! Ian was great, very friendly and approachable. He communicated with us prior to arrival to give instructions on what to do when we got there, ensured us we could contact him at any time should we need to (luckily we didn’t), and just before we left. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again!

The house was a stunning place to spend a few days. We had our 3 kids with us ages 3 and 6. They had fun just tearing around the courtyard but we also were able to walk to the beautiful beach. The house was spotless and perfect for our needs. The kings arms opposite does a great plate of food and was really kid and dog friendly. We had a great stay and we’ll be back!

This lodge is fabulous, on the waterfront, with kayaks in a marina development. The interior is beautifully finished and lots of helpful accessories provided saving hassle - bin liners, dishwashwr tablets etc. The bbq and firepit were favourites of mine, made it seem like the great parts of a camping trip, getting away from it all and fun downtime but with 5* accomodation for comfort. A lot of care has gone into the design and presentation of the home including a beautifully planted garden.

We had a lovely stay at Hannah’s place in Norwich. The house is beautiful and the garden was perfect for our 18 month old to run around in. He even enjoyed playing with Hannah’s two kids and cuddling their cat Ziggy. We were lucky to have a swan nesting right at the end of the garden!! Would highly recommend a stay, especially a longer one. We were there for a week and found Norwich lovely and managed to explore the north and east coasts and even see the seals at Horsey Gap. Hannah recommended Yalm as a place to eat and would pass the recommendation on. A great place for anyone wishing to visit beautiful Norfolk!

We had a perfect few days staying here in Horning. The house was fantastic and the village was beautiful. Tom was also a great host and was very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property if you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing but which is situated in a great location for visiting kings Lynn, and the North Norfolk coast. The master bedroom and bathroom is situated on the ground level so this worked well for us as our teenagers had the mezzanine level. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and the annexe is at the bottom of the owners garden with views into the woods. Great for dog walking and the lake is a 10 minute walk. Comfy beds and a hot good size shower. We appreciated the little extras, eg cereals, milk, dog treats and blankets for the sofa. Thank you Lorraine for being such an accommodating host. I am really sorry that we forgot to remove the dog poo from the garden 🙈

The most gorgeous house with great facilities. Such peaceful surroundings and felt very safe and secure. The host gave some many recommendations on activities and places to go that aren’t far from the area. Can be a little hard to find, however the host gave clear instructions. Couldn’t recommend more!

Great little place next to river, friendly hosts thank Mark and Jan. Our dog enjoyed all the local and beach walks. Had fun with the canoe on the river.

A lovely apartment on two floors, at the top of a beautiful Georgian building. We used the round room inside the rotunda at the front to have breakfast whilst watching ships on the river and out at sea.

A beautiful place next to the water in such a peaceful, calm location in Norfolk. A lovely place to relax and take a break. The property was clean and easy to find with the clear instructions received prior to arrival. The pub at the end of the drive is great and the coast wasn't far away by car. Verity communicated well and responded to any messages I had. Thank you again!

Great location. Right on the seafront with beautiful sea views of Cromer and the pier. The kitchen was well equipped, and the living area comfortable. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having a Smart TV in the main bedroom. Don't be put off with the apartment being above No1 Chip Shop. There was no noise and no smell of fish and chips (until we brought some into the apartment!) They were delicious by the way, definitely recommend. All in all, it was a perfect place to stay. The only things I would say to improve it would be to have tea, coffee and sugar available for guests. There was milk, wine and buscuits, but after a long journey we were desperate for a cuppa and had to pop to the shop to get some (only minor complaint as the shop is across the road) and access to the apartment is up 2 flights of stairs so might not be suitable for everyone. The stairwell was very scruffy and could be improved in line with the beautiful apartment.

Lovely spot, very close to the front. Very comfy, with everything you need for the stay. Little sun trap spot in the garden is lovely in the morning. Totally recommended.

we love it here and have been lucky enough to come here a couple of times now. this will forever be our favourite place to stay in Winterton (or anywhere!) it's immaculate, well equipped, comfortable, perfect for my small dogs, Elaine is absolutely fabulous and very welcoming and helpful. I honestly cannot recommend Sea Mist enough. We had the best weekend again.

It’s okay to pull right up and unload all of your stuff right in front of the iron gate. It’s a pretty melow and sleepy seaside yown concerning such matters. Host said up to ten minutes parking there should be okay. Note that the road that the apartment entrance is located on is a single-lane “alleyway” and easy to pass right by. Comingbfrom Sainsburys and heading down Nicholas Road, it is the small street just before the light at Regent Street. You can ise the Just Park app to park at Sainsburys cheaply, but recommend parking at the southern edge of the parking lot in some of the wider family spaces. I got a major ding on the side of my car from parking in the busier section of the parking lot for several days.
