We had an amazing stay at Bryn Du… location is just beautiful , cottage is clean, comfortable , cosy. Felt instantly relaxed on arrival. Toby was a great host , good communication..would highly recommend Bryn Du.

I recently booked a last-minute trip to Joanna’s beautiful miners cottage for a charity walk up Snowdon with my wife and two children, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! From the moment we booked, the check-in process and communication were flawless, making everything so easy and stress-free. The location is perfect – close to shops, pubs, and great places to eat, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The cottage itself is absolutely stunning! The decoration is amazing, and Joanna has a real eye for detail. She’s perfectly blended modern touches with a respectful homage to the property’s roots, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were lucky enough to meet Joanna during our stay, and it was lovely to hear her renovation story and learn about her other properties. Overall, we had an incredible experience and can’t recommend Joanna’s cottage enough. A perfect place to stay for anyone visiting Snowdon or just looking for a peaceful getaway. Thank you, Joanna!

We had a lovely stay and would recommend for a relaxing get away with lovely views. The place had everything we needed for cooking/bbqing and Tim was really helpful with local recommendations and getting us settled.

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

It’s a place for some isolation .I really was looking forward for some peace . Heather is very good and communicative . Would highly recommend

A beautiful place to stay inside and out. The house is finished to a very high standard, with a lovely kitchen with a big table, and comfy bedrooms. There's a nice outside space with a table and a friendly horse in the next field. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Rhian was a responsive and friendly host. We will definitely come back again!

If you want a pristine modern white villa with en suite bathrooms, this isn't for you. It is called the Artist's House for a reason: the multi-level spaces are lofty, with windows in unexpected places, just like being in an artist's studio. And best of all you are surrounded by art, everywhere you look. A great space to relax, socialise, share a bottle of wine.
