Holiday rentals in West Bridgford

Had a short stay at Barley Croft lodge. Ray was great he rang to check if everything was ok with our lodge and was very polite and helpful. The lodge is in lovely surroundings with lots to do locally. It was ideal for our 1 year old daughter who could wander on the veranda safely and look at the two donkeys in the adjacent field. The lodge has everything you need and is close by the villages of Melbourne and Breedon have places to visit. An all around great experience. Thank you Ray.

What a delightful property in a gorgeous little town! Sarah's place was spotless and beautifully prepared for our arrival with the heating on to welcome us. We had everything we needed right on our doorstep - local restaurants and cafes, a supermarket, beautiful walks... what more do you need? We had no need to ask Sarah for anything, but she sent us friendly messages at both the beginning and end of our stay. This is a beautifully restored building, tastefully decorated and in a quiet and private location. We would gladly have stayed a few more days to explore the area further. We highly recommend this lovely property as a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a few days peace and quiet.

The cottage is beautiful and perfect for a getaway. I would advise anyone staying there to take flip-flops/sliders for going to and from the hot tub, as you need to walk over the stones on the drive way to get to it. We also had towelling bathrobes, but Sam does supply towels for the hot tub if you don't have them. The kitchen is well equipped although a few more mugs and extra cutlery would be useful. There is underfloor heating in the living area and bedroom but no heating in the bathroom. This did make it chilly for showering. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay and would go back again. The location is perfect for visiting local attractions.

A great host, very fast responses to our very late notice booking, everything was ready for us within a hour of booking. Super clean and comfortable house with great facilities, perfect for a 3 generation family break. Would recommend and would be happy to stay again. We met up with all our family which doesn’t happen on a regular basis because the bnb was half way between our homes Robbies place was a perfect place for us to stay and he is a great host. The house was really nice ,super kitchen and bathroom/shower. The bedrooms were clean and tidy with comfortable beds Thanks for a lovely stay

thank you hosts for being so responsive, for answering all my questions and requests with patience :) my family enjoyed their time there. my only nitpick would be some kitchen utensils were a bit dusty / dirty, and there was no hooks in the bathroom, which made it a bit difficult to hang up clothing. other than that, everything was as advertised and we had a fantastic and memorable stay.

Fantastic place for a get away very peaceful. Lovely and tidy when we arrived and the hot tub was ready togo. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. 10/10 weekend. Can’t recommend enough.
