An EPIC getaway! Like none other. Down to the finest detail. Luxurious, artistic, earthy, sensual, gorgeous! Such a unique creation in a stunning, peaceful and inspiring natural environment. You can feel the heart and vision that has gone into this project. We loved so much about this place, especially all the fireplaces and hot tubs and little corners to sit and savour the magnificent views (sunset and stargazing on the outdoor cargo net, anyone?). The fantasy room was a cheeky fun bonus to an already decadent situation. Wynand and Bernadine have thought of everything! They are also very generous with their time and gifts, and were super quick to respond to our questions. Thank you for this creative masterpiece, we are very happy to know about Skaam and would love to come back!

An extraordinary stay, inspiring

Beautiful and relaxing weekend away. The cottage has everything that you need and Sandy was an amazing host who went above and beyond to ensure a magical stay. This was the second time we visited the farm and we will definitely be back again.

Absolutely amazing place, will forever have a special place in our memories. The views are absolutely incredible, watching the rain clouds roll in through the valley right from the comfort of your bed/steaming hot tub is definitely something to experience for yourself. A great way to take a break from the busy city life, would highly recommend the stay to anyone.

Stunning location. Beautifully decorated lounge, dining room and kitchen. Comfortable beds, bathroom with both an indoor and outdoor shower. Large patio for a braai and stargazing. So peaceful watching the sunset and rise. Lovely walking trails. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very responsive. Would go back in a heartbeat and will recommend to family and friends.

We loved our weekend at the Solace cabin. The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. Would definitely visit again!

This is a truly stunning place if you want to escape on a little getaway! Stunning views from the terrace and being off grid you get to use the wood fired pizza oven and hot tub for a relaxing time. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful!

A magical place to unwind We had a wonderful time in Deon’s cabin – the view is absolutely breathtaking! Every day, antelopes and zebras passed right by the house, and we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset from the terrace. The walking trails around the cabin are beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a morning or evening stroll. Inside, everything we needed was there – even a washing machine and a dryer, which made things very convenient. Deon was always available and checked in to make sure everything was fine. His hospitality made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Deon, for being such a kind and thoughtful host! Thomas & Andreas

We spent our Anniversary there, the waterfall was incredible, we swam in the dam, went back to our cosy cottage, got into the hotub with some champers, looked up at the milky way, counted satellites and had the most unforgettable and romantic wedding anniversary. We will definitely go back. Thank you to the hosts for an incredible experience, what a beautiful location.

It took us long to get there from Muizenberg but it was so worth it! The cabin was quaint and clean. We took our two dogs with and they were welcomed and we had a fence to keep them in. The property is beautiful with incredible walks/hikes. There are also a lot of options for swimming which is great in that heat! The hosts were also very welcoming. Thanks and we'll hopefully be back soon!

Rustic beach house, very close to the beach. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and the simplicity of the place. Has all necessary amenities.

We really loved our stay here - the place was spacious, well equipped and well thought out. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. It’s private & quiet with a lovely outdoor space, a private pool and hot tub. We would love to stay again!

Beautiful farm and surroundings in the mountains. The river has fantastic rock pools for keeping cool on hot days. Peaceful and relaxing 🙏

We had an incredible time at Nardouw. Perfect time of year, as the spring flowers were in bloom. The scenery and views are spectacular. The house has a stunning setting amongst giant boulders and was well equipped, with everything we needed. Five stars for the kingsize bed and fresh white cotton linen! Mario had thought of everything. We enjoyed the tour of the rooibos farm with the added bonus of beautiful wild flowers everywhere. The surprise gift was much appreciated and enjoyed! We absolutely loved our stay and will be back.

Amazing view, super cozy cabin, with all necessary things to make a super relaxed weekend. Despite the acsent being steep, we managed perfectly with a VW Polo.

I needed a place to recover from illness and Langkloof Roses was a last minute booking after a disappointment from another site. I was accommodated at very short notice, was allowed to check in earlier and received a warm welcome. The place was more than shown on Airbnb or on their website. It is beautiful, serene and with all the creature comforts. I loved the Tea Room and the surprise of the breakfast included in the package (I did not read everything...). Wonderful food and such friendly people. It is a working farm in immaculate condition and without a doubt I will be returning - this is going to be my go-to place when I need time out. We had an incredible stay at Stonewood Cabin! The surroundings are truly beautiful and it is the perfect place to chill out. We stopped for a swim at Tweede Tol on the way which is well worth a visit. We would definitely stay here again, but there are a couple of things to bear in mind if you’re thinking of staying here: 1. The cabin is in a very remote area surrounded by wildlife which is beautiful. But, the baboons were pretty hectic. They damaged two of our cars and repeatedly tried to get into the cabin. We ended up having to keep all of the windows and doors closed at all times which was not ideal on a 35 degree day. 2. Other reviews mentioned the wind but it really is very loud. It’s a good idea to bring ear plugs to help with the noise at night. 3. The drive up is steep and a bit tricky but definitely manageable even with a small car. Overall, a great place to stay but do be prepared to be at one with nature!
