Cottage holiday rentals in West Coast

We really enjoyed our stay here with nice view of the mountain, valley and river. Although it was rainy, I love reading those books about high country stations by the fireplace. Hoping we could come again on a sunny day!

We loved this peaceful, spotless refuge while on grandparent duty. Deb and James were friendly hosts and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed hearing about local amenities such as the outstanding Opuke hot pools! Thank you.

Our family stayed for 2 night's and we wished we could of had longer(my daughterwouldhave liked to stay forever hah). The most amazing spot, with beautiful scenery and very peaceful. The cottage was lovely and well set up with all the little details thought of. Katrina was the perfect host with responsive flexible communication. Thank you so much for all your effort Katrina and sharing your magical spot with us. We definitely want to comr back again💚

One of the best equipped bnbs we have stayed at, after experiencing almost a hundred all over the world It is actually a gem in Twizel for the following reasons: - fabulous outdoor hottub; - squeaky clean and spick and span; - quiet but easily accessible by car to supermarkets and restaurants; - Responsive host; - Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful

We had a fabulous time at Gerry and Carol's place. I wish we could have stayed longer. The house was super clean!! And WOW, what a great view of the Ocean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing! A true find if you are able to stay here, highly recommended. We will be coming back for sure. 5 Gold Stars!!

Great place to stay in a quiet area. Bus stops close and an easy walk to the supermarket. Spa pool was bliss!

This was a near perfect cottage for us for the five weeks we were there as we searched to find a new home in Canterbury. The cottage is rustic (as described) but charming. The use of the property for our dog to roam in a secure, fenced and very attractive gardens was perfect. Would I recommend this cottage? Absolutely, probably more so in the warmer months. Thanks to Nathalie Rose who was a delightful and attentive host taking care of all our requests. And thanks to Golden Retriever 'Bear' who was our Labradoodle's unfailing friend.

Fabulous location. Beautiful walk along the lake to the Church and township. We loved being able to light a fire after watching the stars on a clear, cool night.

Great location very close to Old Ghost Road and Denniston shortcut. Spotless, slightly quirky place with everything you need. Quiet and peaceful with resident weka, lovely views.

A lovely spot in the countryside to wait out the weather during our fishing trip of the South Island. The doggies loved the fenced section too!

We really enjoyed our stay and wish it was for longer! Beautiful, peaceful area. Loved the windows above the bed, and the bed was so comfortable too! Beautiful drive to Lake Tekapo. Look forward to staying again some time in the future

Warm, cosy and quiet, and a great base for all the sightseeing that Twizel has to offer.

Roger was very responsive when a couple of things cropped up. At first we didn't realize Rogers Air BnB was so far out of Westport, which just meant we just needed to organize ourselves to make sure we had everything we needed. We were looking for a place that would accommodate 7 of us, which fitted our needs, Roger's Air BnB fitted the criteria. A lovely drive along the coast, to get there, once there a stones throw to the beach and lagoon, and less than a stones throw to a pub and grub 2 doors away. Want to just relax? This is the place you need. Pack plenty of mozzie spray. The grandchildren had never seen Weka's before but there is 2 or 3 that made a regular appearance at the house.

It was a treat being able to experience this amazing location and the sound of the waves so close by. Loved the view! Thanks for sharing Daniel.

Joan was so lovely and made our stay at her cottage very comfortable. She gave great recommendations for the local area and was very responsive to our questions. We would love to stay at her cottage again!

Mel‘s house was a gem. Beautyfull and with literally everything one needs for a perfect stay. The fireplace is cosy and works very well, making the house comfortable. The kitchen and all equipment was perfect to make a perfect shoulder of lamb and all other things. Bed was comfortable anf the shower in the bathroom perfectly done in an alternative way. All in all a very nice place to spend some days!

Andrew’s place is beautifully decorated, comfortable and very well-located. Andrew was very friendly and responsive. The beds were very comfortable and we found everything we needed for our short stay. The history of the house was interesting too. We’d love to come back!

The location of Nelson’s place was perfect, just under 10 minutes by car. It’s in a beautiful, quiet area, which made our stay even more relaxing. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed – you can tell a lot of thought went into it. They even prepared a great welcome guide, and there were helpful little notes everywhere. Nelson was incredibly helpful and everything was very well maintained and clean.

Our first time at a Air BNB, awesome quaint cottage with great story behind it. Perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. Central to everything we needed, clean, warm and comfy. Lovely street, quiet at night. We had a great time and would stay again in a heart beat.
