Farmstay holiday rentals in West Coast of the United States

This was our fourth visit to the farmhouse, and it was just as good as the first. Our kids love greeting the animals and feeding them approved treats. The serenity of the property is unmatched, we look forward to this trip every year. I love the peacefulness and proximity to the state and county parks where I went kayaking most mornings of our visit—lots of protected water and marine life to observe. The host is gracious and always welcomes our kids to share her love and engagement with her farm animals. Our kids talk about the animals all year long :)

Second visit to the cob house- so magical! Learned a hard lesson about the ferries this trip. Forgot to reserve when I booked the stay. I highly recommend reserving your ferry as soon as you decide to stay on Mayne. We managed to get on as stand by, but the stress of not knowing really marred the zen-mode for me. Also, bring a speaker for listening to beautiful music while enjoying the views!

Great location to introduce visiting family members to wine country. The wine and food options within the vicinity of the house were plenty. The home was welcoming and comfortable. Great views of the lake and great outdoor space to chill.

This was such a lovely weekend stay with Lauren and Mack! The babe goats were so, so cute and this stay made me want to own some myself. They walked us through so many activities: making sourdough, cheese, pasta, milking the mama goats, feeding the baby goats, and they cooked us a delicious dinner and breakfast. I feel like I learned so much and walked away with an even greater appreciation for food! Highly, highly recommend this experience - once in a lifetime and with the loveliest people I've ever met!

A serene and conscientious place that was incredibly cozy and intentional with its layout and its amenities. It was an amazing homebase to explore the San Juan’s from.

First, the place is great. It is spacious, the bedrooms are large, and the view is fantastic. Being dog lovers, the highlight for us was Styx the ranch dog who kept us company all weekend. The house was clean and well stocked. The furniture is dated but comfortable. The master bathroom has a heater that made my shower very nice!

Great hosts and very communicative. Cozy cabin spot with nice space. Would def stay again!

This place is as advertised. It’s a cozy little unit on the ranch property that houses a lot of farm and wild animals. It was fun to do our walks around the ranch picking fresh eggs with the host, amazing access to do a little harvest from their nana’s garden & watching the animals around with the kids. We also did the safari around their ranch at an added cost which the kids loved and we also got to feed the goats some of our organic kitchen scraps. All in all a very good family getaway. The host’s daughter, Emilee was wonderful and very pleasant to interact with. She was very kind with my kids and always made sure we had a good stay. Thank you very much. Highly recommend.

Ms. Susan property is large and beautiful, our family of 7 enjoyed her estate so much and will plans to stay longer in the future.

Loved, loved, loved Virginias home. Was big and clean. Beautiful home! Lots of room. I’ve been dealing with cancer all year and it was so nice to be there! Was so happy that we went and spent Christmas there. Virginia decorated with some nice Christmas decorations. Had such a wonderful time. A very warm and relaxing place!

We felt right at home on the farm in our cozy camper trailer. The finished interior was both functional and aesthetically flawless. We really enjoyed interacting with all of the animals including Frances the bull, who has a particular fondness for carrots. The farm fresh eggs straight from the hen house were the icing on the cake. Our favorite, however, was getting to know our hosts Greg and Gina. Sweeter humans cannot be found, and we truly felt like we made new friends.

We had a great weekend at Dawn’s Sunrise Ranch, the house is beautiful, clean and very well equipped, we all got connected to the cute goats in the farm and to beautiful views around. Mostly recommend . Thank you Dawn for great hospitality. Avi

I had a fantastic stay at Darci’s place! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. Darci was a wonderful host, responsive and thoughtful, providing great recommendations. The home itself had a cozy atmosphere, with comfortable beds. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the Death Valley area. I would definitely book again!

Vineyard house exceeded our expectations for our birthday celebration. Restaurant on the property was excellent, from the flatbreads to burger and the pasta special, all were tasty & enjoyed (party of 14). Perfect place to stay w some friends, but also invite others who were not staying on the property. The new Pops place is perfect for families with littles to seniors, corn hole, swing set & more. Our grandchildren loved the petting animals area. On our 2 night stay, we were not able to get to some things, the tractor ride, pick from the garden, or take the shuttle to the Maverick saloon in the evening. So much to do for a weekend stay, we couldn’t get to it all. Definitely will book again!

Jean was very flexible with us on the check in and check out times to accommodate our work and travel schedules. We appreciated the responsiveness to our requests to modify those times as well.

Highly organized hosts with all the things a guest needs to know anticipated and provided in easy instructions on the site and posted in the cottage. Very cute spot! The cleanest farmstay out in the country. Very quiet.

A great place for families. Well-equipped with extra beds and blankets. Also a good selection of games. The beds were comfortable and the house was perfectly warmed. We enjoyed speaking with Daphne and learning about the animals. Great location! Close to Cambria, Hearst Castle, wineries and more.

WOW! Full 5 stars. The house is pristine clean and beautiful! You feel secluded even though you are in the heart of the city. You cannot hear the traffic at all in the house. The outdoor space is amazing even in winter. If you are traveling with a dog that's not a runner, there is tons of off leash space, but no fence. This was not an issue for us and our dog loved it. Do bring your own pillows. The beds are great, but the pillows are hard and flat. This house made it to the top of our list to return to. Thanks!

Lee Ann’s listing was a fantastic getaway that exceeded our expectations. The house was a real charmer. The open kitchen set up made us feel at home. The house was well labeled with QR codes that gave us “how to” use certain appliances and general information. The outdoor area is really where we spent most of our time. Walking the property and hanging out with the goats and cow was a great experience and one of the goats gave birth while we were there. We had the most beautiful sunsets at the gazebo where we had our dinner. The surrounding vineyards make you feel like you are in your own winery( especially when you have a glass of wine in your hand). This is a unique property and my family highly recommends it.

We have stayed here three times in the last thirteen months and will keep coming back. It's quiet, private, comfortable and the setting is beautiful. Charlotte and her husband, Val, are welcoming and helpful. It is a convenient location for exploring the surrounding area with plenty to see and do.

This is our second stay with Mark. It was every bit as wonderful as it was the first time! The property is beautifully nestled amongst farms and vineyards. The Airbnb is a separate little cottage on a property with Mark's house, and many adorable farm animals. The Airbnb is beautifully appointed with decorations and amenities that match the peacefulness and serenity of the property. Mark is extremely responsive and friendly, and strives to ensure that our stay is perfect. If you want to enjoy all of your meals in the cottage, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you will need. Otherwise, if you want to venture out, many great restaurants are just a short drive away. We can't wait to visit Mark and his Airbnb again sometime soon!
