House holiday rentals in Westcliff-on-Sea

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

We had a lovely stay. The caravan was perfect and the beds super comfortable. The view was beautiful,the pictures dont do it justice. We were lucky with the weaher,it was lovely sitting on the decking in the beautiful Autum sunshine. Just wish we stayed longer. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again. The space was clean, warm and very spacious up and downstairs. The design and decor was on another level. We couldn’t get over the beautiful chandelier. We were greeted with fruits and milk on arrival in the large kitchen. Ahead of our journey we were given clear directions to the property. Access was easy and there were clear instructions for the sauna, pool etc. We used the sauna daily. It’s was huge and looked brand new. We were be able to watch the kids swim in the pool from the sauna. The kids absolutely loved the pool and took every opportunity day and night to swim. It really was a bonus to have our own pool. 5 of us stayed for a week and there was enough space in the fridge and freezer for all of our food. I have already recommended the space to my friends.

Had an amazing stay at Jane’s Old Stable on the farm. We received instructions on how to find the place beforehand and it was easy to find. The property has great views from the bedroom, was clean and had everything you needed for a stay including coal and wood for cooking outside. It was nice to admire the views and animals with a cup of tea sitting in the front garden in the morning. We enjoyed cooking and eating outside, and toasting marshmallows whilst looking at the stars. Kids especially loved the pool and hot tub. There were plenty of pool toys for them to play with. They enjoyed reading the books, playing games both inside and in the outdoor games room. We got to feed the fishes in the stream, stroke the horses, learn about the bantam hens and the kids even collected a freshly laid egg with Jane which was amazing. We had a couple of issues with the hot tub and each time Jane was quick to respond and fix the issue. Would highly recommend a stay.

Great house to spend time with friends for a 50th. Very close to Canterbury which has lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. Also close to Chapel down and a couple of stellar pub do lunch out dinner. The house was everything we needed it to be and the pool was perfect!

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Clare and Toms house with my daughters and grandchildren. We had the most amazing stay at their house. It was the most beautiful house in a beautiful location , close to the beach and lots of lovely walks . None of us wanted to leave and would love to return and do some of the things we didn't do. We all loved the homely feel of their house and the luxury of a hot tub too ! Thank you Clare and Tom

excellent service provided by Aairbnb, from starting to end. I will book si many holidays, before I paid for expensive hotels. tbe house that HIRED FROM AIRBNB WAS EXTREMELY HOMELY.. MY CHILDREN AND WIFE WE VERY SAD TO LEAVE 😥

5 STARS!! This is my 3rd stay and it never disappoints. It always feels like a true home away from home. The rooms are spacious and clean, and it comes with necessary appliances a home could need. The host was responsive, but rarely needed to be contacted because everything was in place. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay—definitely a five-star experience and I will be back!

We had a great 2 night stay. House was lovely and clean with all that we needed. So nice of Lesley to go the extra mile providing some food essentials and the Easter eggs were very much appreciated😊 Great location to be able to walk to the beach in 2mins and to South End along the coast in an hour. We enjoyed exploring South End.

Beautiful place to stay. Very cosy just what I needed for a night. The field was very very close to walk my dog round. Ana was very quick at responding which was very good! The road could be a little loud but once you were in the bedroom you couldn’t hear it. All in all a very pleasant stay I really enjoyed it thank you.

I just wanted to say huge thank you to Melanie for helping my daughters first Christmas amazing. The grandparents absolutely loved the cottage and being around so much greenery. Melanie and her team are so quick to respond to and she personally went above and beyond for us. We all really appreciated it and my mum left a personal letter on her window sil to say thank you. Really nice and clean, easy check in instructions. Was small but was nicely decorated. You are in their garden when you stay there but the owner has good privacy measures in the air b&b so no one can see in.

We went to this property as a large group of friends with lots of children to spend New Year’s Eve and day together. It was everything we needed it to be. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The surrounding area has some lovely peaceful beaches, great pie & mash and all of the typical beachside treats that children love. Our host was friendly and attentive, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for hosting us. Happy new year.

Ideal secure shared home for us to stay with car parking outside the front door. We walked to our family nearby, which was convenient. The wifi worked well inside the home during our 9 night stay. Our host and family were polite and able to assist when required.

Really nice place, quiet location, parking is fine. There is one space but it’s also ok for a second car. It’s a few seconds from the pubs and restaurants at Old Leigh and about 10 mins for the station. Great view from the bedrooms and lounge and a nice outside space. One small point is there is no live TV, there’s a great streaming service but if you want to watch the news you’ll have to wait!

We had a great stay whilst working away from home.

Fantastic facilities for a big group weekend away; we were a group of 18 and had plenty of space and the sleeping arrangements were great. The property has been redeveloped to accommodate large groups. Karen was very helpful before and after the booking, asking about bedroom set up (twin vs double) and also giving instructions around check-in and check-out. The garden is fantastic and we enjoyed making use of that and the hot tub! We also had caterers in on the Saturday night who had cooked at the venue before and the enormous dining table was brilliant for our celebration.

Jeevika was the perfect host-allowing us to check in just hours after enquiring which was an absolute god-send being as we’d had to leave our previous night’s accommodation due to it being absolutely revolting. Jeevika’s house is clean, beautifully decorated with neon lights and animal themes which my children just loved. There’s a lovely garden space and it felt really homely, safe and secure. Ideally located for Southend, Leigh on Sea and all the surrounding attractions. We feel lucky to have found it and hope to return in future. Thanks for a fab stay xx

We wanted a VERY dog friendly place as we were attending a wedding and have 3 dogs who weren’t invited. Carolin and Lukes’s place was great. Our girls were welcomed with water waiting for them, treats and a bed. We could walk them on the lead on site and there are lovely dog friendly walks nearby such as Leysdown-on-Sea Nature Reserve and beach. Carolin contacted us to see what our preferences were for breakfast and even left 1/2 lovely freshly laid eggs. The caravan was spotless and comfortable. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
