Lake house holiday rentals in Western Massachusetts

My family and I had a terrific stay at this beautiful home. Olga was fantastic, always responsive if we reached out and very helpful. The home was even more beautiful and breathtaking when we first walked into the house than we could have imagined! The home was spacious and cozy, and the view was spectacular. I enjoyed waking up early to work for a few hours overlooking the lake and the beautiful view of the sunrise, enjoying a nice cup of coffee while everyone else was still sound asleep in the comfortable accommodation. The sunset was even more stunning. We will definitely return if we get the chance.

If I could design my dream house on my dream property this would be it. Waking up to a wall of glass looking out to a lake was magical. Francois and Ann were beyond responsive.And if that wasn’t enough…they’re pet friendly. Our shih tzu loved exploring the endless grounds and seeing his first deer! We’ll definitely be back.

We wanted a place to gather with our adult children and 2 very young grandchildren. The layout provided sleep and bathroom space for each family that gave privacy. The open concept living-kitchen space helped us feel like we were together and sharing in the cooking and child care. Even in winter the lake view is peaceful and lovely. Cozy, well equipped, and the lake vibe made this a wonderful family get away. So glad we chose the lake house for our Holiday get together.

I stayed at Jessica's with my husband, kids, and parents. Although the square footage isn't a lot, the way the layout is makes it feel roomy. We loved the fireplace and my kids loved the super Nintendo. I would love to stay here again in the summer so we could enjoy the lake. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. We all enjoyed our stay.

David’s home was the perfect place for some friends and me to spend a weekend ski trip. Plenty of space and lots of cool features, ie the “pool table” downstairs. Would definitely return!

Beautiful accommodation and stunning location! Luxurious but cozy! Great kitchen that had everything we needed to cook a family thanksgiving meal in. This is a a well designed home that is all about the view. There was sun, rain and even snow during our stay- and the house made every experience magical! Great, accommodating host- quick to reply to my messages! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From start to finish Zoe was very responsive and accommodating. The bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean and neat. The bedding was very comfortable. We cooked a dinner and a breakfast and the kitchen was stocked well enough to make both these meals easy.

I was in town for a family event and wanted something other than a hotel room. The home was cozy and inviting, instructions were clear and precise. Being late October the weather was unbelievable warm. We (me and 2 sisters) were able to enjoy the wonderful deck and beautiful scenery. It was peaceful and quiet with an amazing views. Thank you Larry and Denise for sharing your beautiful home.

We had a lovely time here as a group of 8. The house was as described, with plenty of room for us to hang out inside and outside, lots of fun decorations, and so many amenities. The neighborhood is lovely and walkable, and the short drive to town and the Hudson train station were huge perks.

I appreciated all the snacks and drinks that were included. Bathroom was stocked with everything you'd need and there was detergent for the washer too

Karen was a very kind host. House was clean and nicely decorated for the holiday! Wish the kitchen was a little bigger for how many people the house sleeps. Overall great location, nice historic area to walk around. 20 minutes to lake George center.

Very nice house with lots of room to spread out. The tv room was our favorite. Clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The location is not far from grocery store, hiking and wineries. It snowed the night before we left and we were nervous about going down the steep road but the neighborhood does a great job plowing. We really enjoyed our stay!

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

What a quaint little getaway. My friend and I were pleased to find an Airbnb that currently allows dogs with all the amenities Seth's Airbnb has to offer. We took full advantage of the hot tub and firepit located on the private back deck which were highlights of our stay as the property offers peaceful West facing views of the river. The inside of the home was clean, cozy and decorated in eclectic art. Less than an hour away, it is located near downtown New Paltz as well as the Catskills mountains and Minnewaska Preserve making it the ideal spot for avid hikers like us looking to create memorable experiences. Thanks Seth for a great getaway and being easy to communicate with.

EXCEPTIONAL! We can't say enough about how perfect our stay was. The Lake House is amazing. Great view, cozy, super clean. You can't ask for more. Will definitely come back and recommend highly.

This airbnb experience has been by far, my favorite. Amy is beyond a 5 star host and the home is simply beautiful. Everything about the home is perfect. From the inside out there are clean lines and calming decor. It's located across from Saratoga Lake with beautiful views from the home's beautiful windows. Inside there are cute little extras such as a hot chocolate station, a cozy fireplace and a secret little nook. Amy has perfected the airbnb experience. I highly recommend this special gem on the lake! Thanks again Amy! We will be back!!

We had a lovely time staying at the cottage. It was very clean, cozy, and the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. The perfect spot for a weekend getaway.

WENT FOR A FAMILY CELEBRATION FOR THANKSGIVING WEEKEND. THE HOUSE WAS INCREDIBLY STUNNING, GREAT ENTERTAINMENT AREAS, PLENTY OF SEATING, BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE END OF NOVEMBER, WE STILL WERE ABLE TO USE ALL THE OUTSIDE AMENITIES, THE OUTDOOR BAR, SEATING AREA, FIRE PIT, THE HEAT LAMPS WERE PERFECT & UNEXPECTED. THE OUTDOOR AREA WAS AS AMAZING AS INSIDE. THE HOUSE WAS BETTER THAN WE EXPECTED, WOULD HAVE TO SAY PERFECTION! CANNOT WAIT TO GO STAY AGAIN. What a Winter wonderland! Beautiful views of the lake and winter scape. Warm and wonderful inside (3 zone heat was awesome). Wonderfully detailed home that made you feel like home. So happy we found this incredible gem! Thanks Heather!!

Spent a wonderful week during Christmas here with my adult son whom I hadn’t seen in years. Launa went above and beyond with making the home cozy and comfortable and the Christmas decor was more than I could have imagined. Launa allowed an early check in although I had an emergency which did not allow me to check in early but she offered me the option. Launa also allowed us a late check out which was very much appreciated. The only thing I wished was that the beds were a little less firm as I found them to be too firm but that’s just my preference. Very tranquil place and many memories were made. I would love to stay again perhaps during warmer months to enjoy the lake and outdoors but all in all it’s a beautiful home.

My husband and I had a great weekend at Mighty's home. Everything was clean and the house was very homey and comfortable.

This place is a true gem! I came with my husband and kids (5 and 2.5). The house itself is clean and has plenty of places to chill together or alone. As described, it's more "rustic and eclectic getaway" than "luxury renovation," but that worked great for our style. My kids slept soundly in the downstairs bedroom (thanks for the dark curtains!) and my husband and I were comfortable upstairs. I recommend turning on the oscillating fan during the night. The lake itself is amazing. We swam off the dock, paddleboat-ed around and took the kayaks to the public beach. The public beach even has a toy share if you want to travel light! I'd recommend bringing water shoes (tevas, crocs, whatever) if you want to swim anywhere but the private beach as you'll find some plants and a few rocks. We brought lifejackets for our kids and used Karen's for ourselves. Every night we made dinner in the full kitchen, played some board games and watched a movie on the Apple TV. So great!

An amazing house for a family stay in the Catskills area. Antonia has designed a beautiful home, with so many unique retro nods and details. The basement is an awesome additional space for everyone to hang out in. The backyard set up is also great- with easy access to the hot tub and a few steps to the lake. 15 min drive to great restaurants and things to do-Loved our stay here!

We stayed for two nights in January and had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our group (a family of 5, a family of 3, and a couple). We all had our own spaces and own bathrooms, with spacious common areas to hang out together. Adam was a great host who was very helpful, responsive, and up-front about everything. We look forward to staying again - maybe in the summer months next time so we can enjoy the lake as well.
