Chalet holiday rentals in Western North Carolina

We were scheduled to stay at this house for a week, but due to Hurricane Helene, we had to evacuate after three days. For the time we were there, the house was very nice and we greatly enjoyed the large living room area. That was definitely the highlight of the home. We would have liked to explore the area more and utilize some of their recommendations, but unfortunately, that was not possible. Would recommend the house to people looking for a large area for people to gather and talk.

Beautiful spot right by the slopes. Loved the fireplace and the hot tub. Hosts were easy to work with, gave great tips and information, and were responsive. We'd stay there again.

Came for a short weekend trip and it was absolutely as described! The place felt very clean and well taken care of. Host was very helpful and communicative and was willing to reasonably accommodate our worries of traveling during the winter storm that passed through the day of our check-in, luckily we ended up making it! I would absolutely visit this property again.

We’ve been coming to the area multiple times each year for a long time. This house is our favorite! We will be staying here again and again if it’s available!

Visited Maggie Valley for a snowboarding trip and Mike’s home was the perfect place to come back to after a long day! The hot tub was luxurious and relaxing and the beds were soft and perfect for a good nights sleep! This cozy home was everything we needed for a lazy relaxing weekend with friends. A trip we won’t forget!

Stephen’s place in the woods was fantastic. Christmas decorations were an added touch. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. This home was well supplied with all the necessities for a great getaway. Hiking trails galore. City of Helen was close and fun. Truly enjoyed Stephen’s home. You will to !!!

The host was very responsive and the house was well kept. Our family of 6 fit comfortably, with lots of games for the kids and unbeatable views of Grandfather mountain. We will be back!

Tom was extremely responsive any time I reached out to him. The house was spotless when we arrived and has some really great views of the French Broad River as well as some mountains.

The cabin was amazing and had beautiful views! The pictures in the description match exactly what you’ll be experiencing while staying at this cabin! Meaghan and Brandon have a binder on the table full of instructions for the property, that are detailed and step by step procedures with many additional pages on things/activities to do in the area. While sitting at the dinning room table or the couch you have an amazing breathtaking view overlooking the mountains while keeping warm utilizing the gas burning fire place. They truly make the place feel like home. Plenty of room to bring a family or go with a group of friends. The 3 bedroom cabin will easily fit 6 people and when you have down time they have shuffleboard and foosball upstairs! Great for kids or adults lol. Outdoor fire pit has a great view over looking the mountain. Overall amazing views and relaxation at this cabin.

This home is beautiful, the host did an awesome job communicating from the moment we booked all the way until checkout. We had everything we needed for our stay. There's absolutely no regrets in booking, we've already started planning our next visit. Thanks guys!

Hosted our annual family get together at this location and it did not dissappoint. Beautiful home and surrounding property. Very quiet and peaceful with very nice hiking trails with elevation on property. Had 5 cars and a motorcycle in our group and had no problem parking. Fire area was very nice and we saw some good sized fish in the pond. Kitchen was well furnished and worked well for our large meals. Grill out back is nice and clean. Used the clubroom for gamenight a few times and had a great time. Love that every room has a balcony, you could lounge on during the morning. All you could hear were the birds or frogs at night. Had to contact the owner about a minor issue and they responded immediately. Highly reccommend this home and these hosts.

Beautiful, impeccably clean cabin with amazing views! Amanda is a wonderful host who ensured our party was comfortable throughout our stay. She has added beautiful touches and amenities throughout the space that make this cabin your second home. 10/10 would stay here again

We had an amazing stay!! The house was clean and comfortable and there was so much to do. Adam and Jenessa were so responsive and helpful. The pool was amazing- it was cold outside and we still swam because it is heated. My husband and I are already talking about how we want to stay here again! Definitely recommend!

Linda was a fabulous host who stayed in contact to make sure our family had everything we needed. The chalet was comfortable and peaceful for our four night stay - with all the touches of home including hot beverages, seasonal decor, and every kitchen essential you could need. It was a quick drive to Knoxville, so the location was perfect for us. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Such a charming spot and gorgeous vintage home! The lower level was so perfect for our kids and for cozy movie night. Bob was an excellent host. We’ll return for sure!

We loved our stay at River Bear, the place was beautiful decorated, comfortable and spacious. The location was closed to restaurant and stores. We will definitely consider staying here again when we return to Pigeon Forge. Thanks Scott for your hospitality!

This was our third time staying there. Very neat and clean. Equipped with everything you need. Peacefully serene with the porch and dock to take in the lake. Will definitely be back again!

Had a great short stay. Karen and Kim were amazing and very helpful. Only issue I had was paying the cleaning fee and then having to do an extensive clean up upon checkout (imo). But other than that, it was lovely!

This was the perfect home for our family during the wedding weekend event. We are considering returning during a warmer time so we can take advantage of the lake and amenities offered. Kitchen was huge. Beds were super comfortable. Water pressure in the showers was amazing. The craftsmanship of the home was top notch. A definite 5 star stay.
