An absolute highlight of this architectural dream house was the excellent chef who cooked Sri Lankan for us in the morning and evening. We could have been cooked at noon, too. He has brought such a wide variety of different delicious food to the table that we still remember enthusiastically. The house, the garden, the breakfast table in the shade is highly recommended.

We had a great time at Nimal’s. Beautiful house with spectacular views. Plenty of room for our group. And Pushba looked after us with breakfast and a couple of dinners. Highly recommend if you’re heading to Victoria Golf Resort.

Starting from the check in, following the delicious meals of the local cuisine, stunning views, beautiful and cosy property - our stay was absolutely amazing. Those who is looking for hikes without other tourist's, getting to know local culture and people and some solitude if preferred - this is the excellent choice. Huge thanks to the host - who was extremely responsive and his great team.

This was our second time visiting Indy's place. It's a little oasis on the outskirts of Kandy, yet away from the constant hustle around the lake. In-house tuk-tuk transportation was readily available on days we did not have a car and driver. The house is modern, comfortable and quiet with delightful views. A/C and wifi works well throughout (although a little weaker in the kitchen/living area). Both bedrooms are comfortable with great hot water. It's a beautiful modern home that is suitable for a longer-term stay of a week or longer. We'll be back. Kandy is a gem and so is Indy's place. The house manager Kavinda offers outstanding 5-star service! Thanks for another great stay!

Extremely idyllic property! It has something very dreamy, also the place for breakfast is enchanting. Champ's father is very helpful and always has something to say. There are three rooms there, but each has its own pool and is secluded from the others. Breakfast is served for everyone on the front porch or in the house. Sri Lanka or European style - it leaves nothing to be desired. The town of Kandy is a 5 minute TukTuk ride. Everything was very clean and extremely cozy. Great value for money, really great and a little magical... ;-)

Senaka’s place is a cozy, beautiful and unique getaway from the cities’ busyness. Both the air as well as the water there is clean and refreshing. We ended up staying an extra night, because we enjoyed it so much. Senaka and his helper, Kumari, are the most wonderful people and they do everything they can for you to feel welcome and cared for. Senaka takes his time to talk to you, hand out recommendations and share his very interesting life story, and Kumari nurtures you and cooks the most delicious meals. In addition Kumari’s two sons are also playing their part in making you feel like a part of the family. Her oldest son Harris took us on a hiking trip to the top of one of the knuckles only for a small cost, and it was such a lovely experience. Usually it is the youngest son who takes guests hiking, but unfortunately he was ill, but when he felt better again he came to spent a little time with us. If we go back to Sri Lanka, we will definitely go to Senaka’s place again.
