Waterfront holiday rentals in Weymouth and Portland District

Myself and my partner stayed at Sheena's appartment for a long weekend. It was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Very good value for money and only a stones throw away from the Lim river which you can follow into town, a short ten minute walk. I would highly recommend to any couple looking for a Lyme Regis retreat!

This is a lovely flat, right on the seafront. Very convenient for the beach and town as well as other local attractions. The flat was quiet, with very little noise from neighbours, even the restaurant right next door (which was really tasty). There is a road outside the front window, so you do get car noise there, but the bedrooms are at the back and were very peaceful. The weather was bitterly cold this week but the flat was warm and cozy and has everything you need, including things like beach chairs and toys for the kids. It's very comfortable although the sofa was harder than it looks! We would definitely stay there again.

Perfection. Six weeks in this wonderful apartment with its cosy rooms and beautiful views were not enough. It looks even better in reality than it does in the photos. I was there on my own and felt totally secure at all times of day and night, and the area has so many tasty eateries from 7.30am (Cornish Bakery) till late (Rise). And going to sleep to the pulse of the waves is a delight. All the arrival and appliance instructions are helpfully detailed and accessible. I cannot fault a thing. Do be aware that there is a narrow-ish staircase up to the apartment (no lift in the historic - iconically magnificent! - building) - it's perfectly serviceable (and lit), but it's worth being prepared for the initial lugging upstairs of your belongings! I recommend a pastry from the bakery to reward your labours. Thank you so much, Suzanne and Pete - I would come back tomorrow if I could!

A warm and welcoming flat in a Really great location. Very clean and well equipped too! Sebastian was very helpful when the Smart TV was smarter than me, responding to my questions even though he was away. We will definitely be back next time we are in Swanage.

This is a great property in a beautiful and quiet area. Everything you need is available and the bed is very comfortable. Instructions and communication were detailed and helpful. The centre of Bournemouth is just a short walk. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely overnight stay. It was perfect for what we needed as my husband had work down in Poole. The location was brilliant, quiet, secure and very well equipped. It was lovely and clean, comfortable and the little extra touches like cookies and milk that were there on arrival. 😊Thank you Emily, we will certainly recommend your lovely apartment!

A perfect last minute getaway for new year tranquillity. Although the weather wasn't the best we got out still and we would definitely love to return spring/summer time as the waters /surrounding the property would be so beautiful I'm sure if it wasn't already. The bed was super comfy. The space was ideal and enough to feel comfort for our visit. Thanks for the friendly welcome... Relaxed Gestures and fresh bread too.

Travelling as a family of four and one dog. We loved our stay at North Mill. Great location with lots to pubs and restaurants a short walk into Wareham old town. Sally was super friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for a stay on Wareham and to enjoy the beautiful Dorset coast.

Tom’s place is so lovely. Our family had a great stay at his place. It was a short walk to the beach, which was an added bonus. Plenty of room, very clean and just as described. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay in Worth Matravers. An ideal location for exploring the area and a fantastic home to relax and enjoy too. Photos don’t do justice to the downstairs space. Was perfect for our family with energetic 3 year old and Labradors!

we loved being here! the accommodation was very cozy and quiet but within easy walking distance of the town. Debbie and Derek were very helpful with instructions and recommendations.

We have just returned from a relaxing 3 days over New Year 2024 to 2025. Ideal size for 3 couples with a bathroom for each couple. Living area was great with a nice modern open plan kitchen living and dining area. Cooking facilities were very good with modern appliances which made catering for our group very easy. Main fridge freezer was complemented by a separate wine cooler All the bedrooms were of a good size as were the beds with the exception of the double in the 3rd bedroom which felt small ( we have a super king at home so it may have just been an adjustment to that ) We stayed close to the house and ate at the Lake Yard which is 5 mins walk away. Whilst it is a members club we were able to book a meal which was subject to a 20% non members price increase. We ate at The Yachtsman on NYE. Luke the host was very responsive and helpful answering any queries quicker than advised and we all appreciated the welcome basket. Good trip had by all

April cottage is a gorgeous, cosy place. It has everything you need, all the home comforts plus amazing views across the sea. April always responded quickly to questions and was very friendly. Would absolutely recommend the cottage but be prepared there isn't much within walking distance in terms of cafes/ restaurants/ pubs. However, if you take some logs for the fire and a nice bottle of wine, there is no need to leave!

Beautiful apartment for a great family weekend exploring the South West! The apartment is warm and welcoming and has everything we needed.

A perfect location for all the amenities of Poole and Poole Harbour. The view of the harbour was spectacular and a good amount of our was spent sitting on the window seat admiring the view and watching people go by their day. The apartment is very well equipped with pretty much everything you need and we very much appreciated the extra touches such as fresh flowers on the windowsill, milk, OJ and croissants. I’ll definitely visit again when I visit Poole next!

We had a lovely short break at Karen’s apartment. The apartment was lovely and cosy and very well equipped. It is in a great location with views over the harbour. We really appreciated the welcome pack Karen left. She is a great host and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

THE best thing about this flat is the view! Absolutely gorgeous 😍 It was a pleasure to wake up to and to return to after a day out. The flat is spacious and has everything needed for a break. The bed was softer than we're used to, but very comfortable. We slept well! Weymouth has a lot going on and there is plenty to do. Good pubs, cafes and shops. Many places to explore if driving and by bus or train. We recommend the Swannery at Abbotsbury. Fabulous to get close to over 600 swans 😊 We really enjoyed our week in Carleys flat and cannot wait to return 😀

This was our second visit to Carolyn's apartment in West Bay. We also visited out of season last time - West Bay has a lovely out of summer season vibe! There were plenty of shops and restaurants still open. We did have a dramatic storm for one day, but mostly the weather was dry, sunny and bracing! The apartment is in a great location, and is beautifully maintained - very clean and welcoming. Carolyn is a wonderful host - excellent communication and very useful information from entry details to local amenities.

We had a lovely time at Coopers. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, it is luxuriously decorated and furnished and we felt at home during our stay. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. Charlie was a proactive and attentive host and answered all our questions before we had to ask them. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
