Beautiful place, spa was massive even bigger than it looks in the photos which was a huge bonus. Definitely the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in we want this mattress for ourselves. Great stay!

Great place to stay for couple of days or a week, big house, kitchen is well equipped, comfortable bed. You will be surrounded by nature pure, kangaroos and birds. It's very quiet, ony birds singing can wake you up. Be sure, you'll definitely see couple of kookaburras on your balcony

great stay at the blue wren! Joanne was so easy to communicate with and responsive. Great location, walking distance to halls gap. The place was so cosy, the spa bath made the whole stay and was perfect to indulge in and relax after lots of hiking around the grampians! would happily stay again 😁

Comfortable and spacious accomodation with all the necessary facilities to make for an enjoyable stay. Within striking distance of the village and its many amenities, the cottage is a dream place to stay in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

Felicity literally saved our holiday with her responsiveness! We were stuck in Nhill with a host who had double-booked our accommodation. It was a Saturday night during the busiest holiday season, and Felicity’s property (1.5 hrs away) was the closest place my family could rest their head that night. It was already after 6pm, but Felicity responded to my desperate message. The house had not been cleaned from the previous guests, so we were offered a discount. We arrived at 10pm, and it really wasn’t that untidy. The cottage is lovely! The gardens are beautiful and serene. There is so much to explore and discover at the property. Kitschy-cute and rustic. We were able to rest for 2 nights and continue our road trip holiday, rather than be forced to go home. Very grateful for our lovely stay!

Very well-presented restoration of a piece of history with appropriate furniture and colour palette, yet all the mod cons to be comfortable. Loved the ambience and going on an early morning walk with the chickens and geese

Beautiful BnB in a quiet and peaceful location, close to the “Must Do” sightseeing lookouts and walking tracks in the Grampians. The accommodation is absolutely clean and tidy, spacious, fully equipped with everything you need, tastefully furnished in high quality - we felt like at home. From the balcony you can see a lot of funny wild life (kangaroo, kookaburra, etc.) We had also very good conversations with Peter. We can highly recommend.

Great location, only 5 min drive from town centre. Stone cottage is private with amazing views, alot of wildlife and the backside of the zoo to top it off. The cottage itself is rustic and homely with space for entertaining both inside and out. Host was welcoming with good recommendations of the surrounding area

Unfortunately our stay was cut short due to bushfire. During the whole time Duncan kept us up to date on the developing situation. Duncan was happy to refund us the balance of the nights we did not use. Our stay was short but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

We had a fantastic time! The wildlife was so tame and beautiful it was incredible waking up to such lovely surrounds. The cottage was quite secluded yet still close to the strip of shops and hiking trails, no more than a 5 minute walk for each! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Stayed here for the second time. As soon as i opened the door i felt right at home. Lights, air con and music turned on and a beautiful gift to enjoy the summer evening weather. Thank you Mel

Great location, lots of local wildlife with Kangaroos everywhere. Close to the zoo. very comfortable with plenty of sleeping room.
