This lovely detached cottage is based on the edge of Kiltarlity on the family Croft (small farm) and without a doubt is a superb base for exploring the many attractions and activities this area has to offer. The popular village of Beauly is only 4 miles away and offers a very good range of shops and restaurants, with Inverness, just 12 miles away. Loch Ness only 9 miles ‘over the hill’. Enjoy a peaceful and private stay at Cartlodge cabin. The property is situated in a secluded part of our garden approximately 22 meters from the main house, with stunning views onto a beautiful field and Wardlaw Mausoleum (Outlander) We are just 1 mile from the NC500 route, 8 miles from Inverness,, 4 miles from the the pretty little village of Beauly. There is an hourly bus service that runs from kirkhill which can take you to both places. Achnagairn castle is just a 5 minute walk away.

A quaint cozy pod. Placed at the rear of the main house located on quiet farmland. Renovated in 2019. Only a 15-minute drive to the famous Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle! A 10-minute drive into Inverness City center. Further afield is Fort William where you can climb or view the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis! Belladrum Festival is only a 5-minute drive away. We are in a very quiet location. The house is attached as a separate unit to our home.
