Charming retreat with hot tub and lake terrace

My family & I have just had a lovely few days staying at this property. The cottage & grounds are beautiful with lots of flora & fauna - generous lawn to the front, lake & terrace to the rear & side, flower-filled borders throughout, all surrounded by fields, woodland & birdsong. We enjoyed using the hot tub overlooking the lake, a really special setting. It’s all very private & tranquil. The cottage itself is spacious & cosy, with thoughtful touches throughout (comfy beds, robes, well-stocked log burners), plenty of room for our family of four, plus dog (bonus - pet friendly!) & a lovely lounge to relax in after biking & walking all day. The kitchen was well-equipped, though we didn’t do any cooking. The location is great too – secluded but close enough to nearby villages. We’d definitely recommend having a car. Hosts were nice & friendly, easy to communicate with & quick to respond when contacted. All in all, a wonderful stay & we’d highly recommend to others. Thank you!

What a treasure this place is. It's not just beautiful, peaceful and extremely homely - it's loved, full of stories and life. Shane is a perfect host - kind, responsive and dedicated to providing a lovely space. Even better is that he built it himself - so every little part has a purpose and a story. He knows each tree in the garden. There are peacocks, hares, deer and birdsong. Some places are meant to make people smile :-)

This was such a peaceful place to stay for a long weekend! The lodge is spacious with a well equipped kitchen, comfy seating area and large veranda. As it's the end of the run it felt private and the view of trees and sound of birdsong was very relaxing. Just what we needed!

Little Orchard - cosy cottage, beautiful views

Char & Neil gave us really helpful instructions on how to get to the property, as well as parking for dropping off luggage and where to park during our stay. The cottage itself had everything we needed. We were in Bridgnorth for a wedding, so it was nice to be so central to pop out & see friends, or quickly head back to our own space in the form of the living room and the little garden area. There are some steps to access the property, but these were perfectly manageable for us and our luggage (hand luggage sized bags). We were pleasantly surprised by Bridgnorth, so hopefully we’ll be back one day!

The bungalow was ideal for our stay. Located in a quiet village outside of Shrewsbury it was still easy to get into the town, and also to get about in Shropshire. The furnishings were unique and interesting, but still all required amenities were provided and easy to use and the bungalow was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Mary's place! The cottage is just as described and in a beautiful and peaceful location. All of the instructions Mary provided were easy to follow, and while we didn't meet in person, Mary was communicative and available if needs be. We hope to return again soon!

Beautiful place, was the perfect escape from the city for the weekend. Pip explained everything accurately and thoroughly and provided us with some logs for the fire which was great fun. The hut was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bath outside was perfect for a cold evening. Thanks Pip we had a great time!

The Haven is a five-star cottage in beautiful Stratford-upon-Avon hosted by wonderful Ally and Simon. My wife, daughter and I had a memorable week’s holiday in early April (due in no small part to our excellent accommodation) and we are planning to return again someday. We rented this Airbnb for a works meeting and it couldnt have worked out any better. The accommodation was clean and beds really comfy, the outside space was great so we did most of the meeting in the late afternoon and evening sat in the sunshine in the garden. We couldnt fault the cleanliness of the kitchen or bathrooms and the showers were really powerful, what was needed to wake us all up in the morning to carry on our meeting. We had milk and juice in the fridge when we arrived and tea and coffee was provided along with a little treat that was a lovely added touch. Joy (the host) responded to all requests for information and the information regarding access to the house etc was provided in time with easy to follow instructions. We would just like to say a BIG thankyou to Joy.

What a fabulous stay we had at Rimmer’s Farm House. An absolutely stunning house and an incredible welcome hamper including cake, Easter chocolate, dog treats, fresh eggs, milk, breakfast juices etc. The house is extremely spacious and the hosts have thought of just about every additional touch to make it a very special stay for families and friends.

We had such a lovely stay at Owl Barn. It felt really homely, great amenities and the kids loved their bedroom with the range of books and toys. It's also a beautifully quiet location with a woodland walk on your doorstep and a play area. It's also so easy to get to places in the area including Worcester City and surrounding areas being so close to the motorway. We would definitely stay again without a doubt!
