Holiday rentals in Woodsgift

The Rose cottage was really my first experience with an Air B&B anywhere let alone Ireland, so I was guarded in my expectations. The cottage was superlative in almost every regard. Great kitchen, bedrooms are private and well-appointed and separate baths for myself and my son. And as I am finding in my travels through Ireland, the internet service was reliable and robust. Richard is an amiable and gregarious host that provided me with invaluable guidance and insights to the local area as I am looking for a house to buy here. He is the Sherpa guide to that area of the country. Staying here gave me a sense of the deep history associated with the location from the 600 year old castle to which the cottage attached even to the Game of Throne decorative swords on the walls. The neighbors that also reside there are friendly and outgoing and will engage in spirited conversations over a cup of tea. The only downside comment I could offer is that the sheep seemed a little nervous

This Airbnb&B was a treasure trove of lovelyness!! There were toys for our 6 year old to play with, space for our three month old and a great selection of TV services to watch. There was also lots of added extras from boardgames to coffee pods! Neal and Ann were fabulous hosts and always quick with a response! We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in St Helens and would most definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!

A great place to stay in Cobh!

From beginning to end, a fabulous getaway for three nights. The cottage is as described, a beautiful seafront location, steps from the strand. A very cozy home, and my favourite spot was sitting on the window seat watching the waves or reading. The kitchen has everything you need for holiday cooking, but the Saltee Chipper (try the monkfish) as well as the great breakfast place on the corner and Mary Barry's a few minutes up the road for dinner, means you won't need to cook much! Beds are comfortable and showers are good. We love the sea and that's what this cottage is all about. Direct access to a stone free sandy beach for a daily swim or two. The sauna, just steps away, was fabulous and just €15 for 45 minutes. 10/10 from us, we're already looking at dates to see when we can return to this little slice of heaven.

Absolutely loved this place! We wish we would've booked it longer. The views, animals, walkable beach is worth the experience. Mairéad and John were amazing hosts and the friendliest. They provided awesome breakfast and gave great advice around the area. Till hopefully next time. 💚

Everything was perfect. The welcome gift was such a nice surprise. The cabin had everything we needed. It was absolutely spotless and so private and comfortable. We parked the car and didn’t leave until we checked out. Highly recommend Caroline’s cabin!!

The cabin was fabulous. Exactly as described. Rooms were lovely and the Kitchen had everything you would need with alot of extra touches added to make you feel right at home. Hosts were so friendly and gave a great recommendation for a place to have a lovely breakfast. Couldnt fault anything about our stay from start to finish. Will definitely be back.

Myself and my wife and two dogs had a really great stay at Colm's cabin. It's exactly as it looks in the photographs. The weather was very cold while we were there but the cabin was always cozy. The location was perfect for us - it's quite remote but wonderfully peaceful and situated right on the lakeside so benefited from the relaxing sound of the water lapping. The cabin is about a 5min drive/25min walk to a really nice bar/restaurant (Larkins) which is worth a visit - if you're planning on walking there its a good idea to bring a torch (we used our phone torches) as the road is dark and has no footpaths. Colm was a really great host - very responsive and helpful. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin in a lovely quiet spot in the countryside. Accommodation is stunning … inside and out .. well worth a visit .
