Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Woodstock

Caitlin and her husband, Peter, are caring, considerate hosts. They made me feel welcome in their beautifully appointed, light-filled home. They were open and friendly, interested in finding out who I was, while being respectful of my privacy. When I explained I didn't like to eat first thing in the morning, they went out of their way to prepare a yummy, healthy "to-go" breakfast I could take with me to the program I was attending. Caitlin even loaned me her favorite travel coffee mug for my tea. I was able to spend my final morning having breakfast with them and they prepared a delightful meal, replete with fresh fruits and flowers from their garden. We sat outside amongst the beautiful plantings and each shared with me a precious piece of their own life story as well as how they met. That's how I discovered what wonderful people they are. I would return there in a heartbeat. Staying at the Sanctuary provided a welcome contrast from the intensity of the program I was attending.

I had a wonderful stay with Jim and Monique! They have a beautiful and comfortable house in a gorgeous setting and are the perfect hosts. My room was spacious and well appointed; loved the barrel ceiling. The bed and linens were very comfortable and I had two great nights of sleep. Monique's breakfasts are truly outstanding and a great start to my day. Most of all, Jim and Monique are lovely people and I enjoyed getting to know them. I will definitely look to stay with them again next time I'm in the area.

Mountain Meadow View describes the serene beauty that surrounds this lovely home perfectly. It was clean, comfortable, & Walter is so welcoming. On discovering it was my birthday he suggested an impromptu celebration soon after our arrival. We celebrated by overlooking the meadow at the ‘Camels Hump’ (top of the mountain) with nibbles, drinks, and laughter. He has a great sense of humour and volumes of local knowledge of things to see, what is going on & where to eat. He recommended a local restaurant that turned out to serve some of the best tuck we had during our road trip. But it did not compare to the breakfast we shared with the other guests. He offered a choice for breakfast, checking first if anyone had allergies. A choice of frittata which was scrumptious or orange French toast which was equally sublime. We choose both! Everyone was sharing stories, life experiences, & travel advice over breakfast. Honestly, staying at Mountain Meadow View was one of the high points our trip!

We stayed at Sallie’s bed and breakfast for the weekend and went skiing in Killington. The place was beautiful and warm. Sallie was a great host and makes amazing French toast!

Issy was so welcoming and friendly. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean with plenty of room to spread out. I felt entirely at home! Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for quiet. This is the place! The nature, the building, all of it was excellent. I felt safe as a solo female traveller to stay here. The accommodations are exactly as listed. The yoga studio is lovely and the whole place is very clean. I would for sure stay here again.

Zelia's place was better than expected. We were so lucky there was availability! Do not hesitate to book. Absolutely recommend.

5 of us stayed at David's place for our family ski vacation and all of us loved the location and the house. the house was as described and has so many linens and amenities. it's 30 minutes to Stratton Ski Report and 5 minutes to downtown Manchester where you can find anything, including Shaws supermarket. It's a great location and house and we are looking forward to come back to this place next year for our family vacation. Thanks

Lara was always around if needed and was so pleasant to communicate with. She made me feel at-home and welcome. She was kind enough to offer recommendations for my time in the area and I look forward to staying with her again!

This was our first trip to Vermont, and all we can say is we will absolutely be back and staying with Lara in the future. She was so attentive to everything, from the non-scented sheets to providing gluten free food options was so nice. We felt welcomed, and loved all of the recommendations she gave for the area. We can’t wait to visit again, hopefully come summer time!

Lara was an amazing and dedicated host. Very friendly and responsive. We highly recommend taking advantage of the sauna. Our favorite part of the stay!

Absolutely perfect and amazingly accommodating. The mansion was actually closed on Thursday as they were preparing for a large event for the weekend but still found a beautiful, private place for me to stay for the couple nights I needed. Diane met me at the door, showed me around the property, and gave me recommendations for local food. She offered her cell number and the promise to help with anything I needed. The grounds are beautiful and located next to a park with walking paths. The room was perfect for what I needed; shower, kitchenette, and really comfortable bed. I will stay again anytime I’m in the area. My since thanks to Diane, Andy, and the beautiful, old New England inn.

We loved our time at John and Sues. The area was absolutely stunning (but a little hard to find in the dark if you follow google maps instead of Sues directions) it was very cozy and picturesque and Queeny the goat was a favorite. We hope to go back someday and bring our kids with us.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Lara ‘s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, the hostess and her son made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. They were both so warm, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The suite itself was beautiful—spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities you could ask for. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the area. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible amount of local information the hostess provided. She shared great recommendations for nearby activities and restaurants, all of which were spot on. Thanks to her suggestions, I was able to discover some amazing spots I wouldn’t have found on my own. I can’t recommend this place enough! It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you again for such an unforgettable stay!

A great place to stay in the Valley close to all of the action! Tim and Rick were gracious and wonderful hosts. The pancakes in the morning were phenomenal.

I had a lovely stay at this unique and peaceful place. The space inside is interesting and spacious, with incredible windows, a full kitchen, and intriguing decor. (If you're not fond of mounted animals on the walls, then this place is not for you.) Frankie was a helpful and gracious host. When I got lost, she drove down to find me and lead me back to her place! It's tucked away, but worth the effort of finding it.

This is a hidden gem 3 min from crotched mountain. The property is beautiful and everything is very well run. Owners were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed hanging out in the common areas. Dinner was a 10/10 and the service was great too. Definitely coming back in the summer.

This was my first Airbnb experience. From the very beginning, John and Kathy were excellent hosts. They come across as just genuine and likeable people - it really feels like you’re staying with friends. Not to mention, they are SO kind in opening up their entire (gorgeous) home and property to you. They make it clear that while you’re there you have free range to explore the grounds or utilize the fun on-site things such as the fire pit and relaxing common areas. The breakfast served each morning was so thoughtful and delicious; my husband and I really felt like we were being spoiled!! Speaking of spoiled, idk how I’ll ever be able to have a better Airbnb experience than John and Kathy provided as they really set the bar high. Looking forward to booking our next visit here for sure.

Very cosy and convenient stay in the heart of town, clean and friendly!

Great stay in the barn at Wise Pines! Chelsea gave super clear instructions and the welcome guide was very helpful! We had a private room which was cozy (especially with the provided space heater) and clean. We appreciated the white noise machine since our room was right next to the shared bathrooms and kitchenette. Overall great place to stay and I'd love to come back and stay for longer!

The perfect place for a few days getaway will definitely be back someday
