Asha and David are super sweet. They waited for us at the bus station even though we were one hour late! They wanted to show us the places in Vilcabamba and they took us fruit shopping. They really care and make sure you are feeling great at their place! We recommend their accomodation.

A great place near the podocarpus national park. Ideal if you like to hike and be in direct contact with nature. Near the cabin there are rivers and waterfalls to visit. Comfortable and cozy cabin The hosts Sarah and Charlie are such a a great persons very kind and attentive

My husband and I stayed for 3 night. Hot shower, comfortable bed, good WiFi, a well-stocked kitchen, roomy spaces, good lighting, great layout with light-filled rooms and a fantastic view from the kitchen and living room. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown Vilcabamba. Taxis all know the Alpha House. We would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Vilcabamba.

Stephanie was very responsive even though we booked last minute. The space was very clean, tidy, and matched the listing perfectly. Stephanie was very friendly and offered us restaurant suggestions and let us know about upcoming community events. We would definitely book with her again! One thing to note is that the directions AirBnB provides are not accurate, so be sure to ask for a precise directions from Stephanie before arrival.

The house is exactly like it looks in the photos. In the kitchen there is crockery and useful appliances for cooking, it has a refrigerator and a bottle of purified water. Each carefully prepared room, the beds are very comfortable; clean and soft towels, the shower, warm, delicious with water temperature adjustable to your liking. The contact with nature, the song of the birds and its pure air, close to the village but far from the noise make this a unique place. We would definitely visit again. Thanks to Edgar and Sonia, great hosts.

Our stay was great. Luis was our main contact and responded very quickly. The house is fabulous in a very private and scenic setting. Gorgeous views from every window and the deck. The deck chairs etc were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we needed. The grounds are impeccable and very well maintained. The WIFI is adequate (7-9 mbps) but it works. The walk down to Vilcabamba center is at least 50 minutes and we always used a taxi to come back. If it is raining be sure to get a cab with four wheel drive which are plentiful. Luis also has a four wheel drive and offered to take us back and forth numerous times. The pool was spotless and really nice and we did not need to have it heated. Like most of Latin America there are 3-4 dogs on the property but for the most part they did not bark much. You are a little out of town but the privacy and views were exactly what we wanted. We loved this place and are already working on a return.

Lorena was always attentive to any requirement. The photos are the same as the landscape that can be seen from the property. An excellent place to get away from the noise of the city.
