Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Yellowknife

Sasha was an amazing host. The home is beautiful and welcoming. It has everything you need. It’s quiet and serene and being steps away from the lake made it easy to see the northern lights, EVERY night which just felt like magic. Sasha was very responsive and I appreciated her checking in. She was very, very, very and I mean very accommodating to help me with requiring extra nights (thankfully) on both ends of my trip due to weather and travel delays, cancellations (the great northern experience). It was also very kind of her to have left some groceries and treats. Having the ability to do laundry was bonus. I would definitely come here again. I felt very fortunate to have stayed here and just be comfortable. Thank you Sasha.

Absolutely incredible stay! This luxury property in Yellowknife exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect, and the view from the deck was simply breathtaking – we were treated to a stunning display of the Northern Lights right from our rental! The property itself was impeccably clean, incredibly comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Everything felt luxurious and well-maintained. We had such a relaxing and memorable stay, and I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a truly special experience in Yellowknife. Five stars!

I couldn't recommend this stay more! This has been a unique experience and Jason is an amazing host. We could see the lights from inside the cabin, straight from the bed. The boathouse is beautiful, very well designed, fully equipped and eco friendly. Everything was very clean and really nicely decorated. Being in the middle of the frozen lake has a very special charm. Not having a shower wasn't a problem, between baby wipes and the community center it was easy to sort out. I appreciate the stable Internet connection too. Jason made sure the road was clear after the snow and that we had everything we needed. He was kind enough to take me to the airport to pick up the rental car too. Stayed in top of everything during the entire stay, and provided tips and suggestions. There's only one neighbour close by, but the cabin is very private. I will definitely stay here again!

We had one of the coziest and most comfortable places to stay in this extreme place- we visited for 3 days in first half of February at outside temperatures between minus 20 and 30°C! And meeting such friendly and caring hosts doubles the rewarding experience. It is a one floor apartment in a house with big terrace with view at the lake. Hosts live on the floors above. Absolutely OK for accommodating 3 adults- two in separate bedroom and one on the sofa in the living room. Fast and easy transfers from/to airport with local taxis at 22CAD. 15 min walk to downtown shops, best restaurant in town- in the same neighborhood. We had Aurora all nights, also exciting walk across the frozen lake to nearest natural attraction- the frozen waterfalls and most remarkable was time our host spent to show us interesting and nice places around Yellowknife. Overall, places like this are the reason I do AirBNB for over 10 years now. Highly recommended!

Great cozy stay. Loved the complimentary slippers. House was filled with plenty of housewares. Bonus comfy bed.

The location worked for us, the house was impeccably clean and Jean was responsive to our needs. The accomodations worked for us and the off street parking at the rear of the property with power to heat the car was a bonus. Being able to see the aurora from the front door was the icing on the cake.
