Holiday rentals with beach access in York River

Dustin repeatedly said in the feedback comments "you should have messaged me" so when I couldn't find something I did. I'm glad I did! I couldn't find something and sure enough I just didn't look hard enough so I was very glad I messaged him. He got right back to me and all was good. Also, I think I read someone had trouble finding the entrance which is mind boggling - it was pretty easy to find and it wasn't like there were tons of options soooo.... Overall the apartment was really cute and had what I needed though I was just there for 2 days and didn't need much except a bed and a shower! It was bright, comfortable and omg the backyard was amazing. I was hesitant to book part of a home, but I think I was the only one there so it was a non-issue. Good chance I'll be back to Norfolk so highly likely I'll end up there again. Thanks, Dustin!!

After being disappinted with the local hotels on several occasions I decided to give Airbnb a try. I found this little gem. I stayed one night. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The community was quiet. It was very convenient to Hampton University, some good restaurants, and the Peninsula Town Center. I would stay there again.

Another great stay. We’ll be back.

Amy and Andy are excellent hosts! I had so much fun. I was just a little disappointed in the wi-fi/internet connection but Andy is doing his best to correct it. This is my second time staying here and I will be coming back! I highly recommend it!

apartment was exactly like the pictures ! it was very cozy and private which i loved . hosts were very responsive and answered every question i had . would definitely stay here again !!

The place was so clean and the location was very private. Being able to use the kayaks was amazing. The only thing was the table was still wet with paint and one of the kayak carts had a flat tire. Other than those small things we had a great experience here.

Really enjoyed sitting on the porch with our coffee in the morning and taking in the sunrise while watching the wildlife and listening to the waves. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make meals and everything was immaculately clean! Great family time here as we played board games, read and watched movies together. Would love to come back one day!

We really enjoyed our stay. The board games were a nice touch and we enjoyed all aspects of the property. A+ owners as they were super responsive and not intrusive during our stay.

Scorno was the best host!! We were in Norfolk for work, and our original place was not in a safe area. This place saved us!! Scorno allowed us to make a last minute booking, and was even flexible to let us change our check-out date when we needed to leave early. I’ve never had a better host experience! The pictures don’t do this place justice…it feels even bigger than the photos and is so clean and bright. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked.

Beautiful comfortable home with great hosts! We enjoyed our stay at Steven and Susan’s home. The house is newly renovated, clean and comfortable. We loved walking to the beach every morning and evening and relaxing in this beautiful home. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is nicely equipped. Thank you for having us!

We stayed at Xiaoming's Airbnb in Norfolk, Virginia, for 30 days while our home in Virginia Beach was under repair, and it was truly a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the house was immaculate, with a fresh, clean smell. Xiaoming went above and beyond to accommodate our pets, making it an ideal space for our German Shepherd to run and play in the backyard. Our two young children had plenty of room to play as well, which made our stay stress-free. The downstairs master bedroom was perfect for getting our day started easily, and the location couldn't be better—just a short drive to amazing restaurants and beach access. The outdoor grilling area and porch became our favorite lunch spot, giving that summer vibe, even on chilly days. Having access to the garage was a huge bonus, keeping our vehicle clean and giving our dog a comfortable spot to sleep and eat without any worry about dirt inside the house. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. Highly Recommend!

The house was very nice, it was cleaned very well when we got there and there were plenty of amenities for everyone. The beach is accessible with maybe a two minute walk. The area is pretty, we saw horseshoe crabs and jellyfish at the beach, and the neighbors are friendly. The jellies can sting, but the kind of jellyfish here are painless enough that I initially thought I got bumped into by a floating stick, and the locals at the beach completely ignored the one in the water. The nearby restaurant/bar stays pretty busy, but it’s really nice as well.

Douglas ( & Peggy ) are wonderful hosts. From thinking of snacks & water for when we arrived to the different amenities in all of the rooms! We immediately felt right at home - the kids loved their rooms & Michael & I loved the master suite. We spent some much needed family time in the spacious living room - playing board games, watching TV & talking up into the night. We have already reserved a week this summer so we can enjoy the beautiful backyard! I would recommend Douglas & Peggy as your hosts for any stay you needed in the Hampton area!

We had a great stay in Norfolk. The condo had everything we needed. Jason had everything needed for the beach: parasol, chairs , sand toys, towels. The placement of the condo was perfect right in front of the beach wich was not crowded at all. The beach was clean and we even saw dolphins. We liked that there were two bathrooms in the condo and that it was more spacious then we expected. Jason was always really helpful with our questions. We will be back.

Had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's condo. One of the cleanest AirBnBs I've ever stayed at, and one of the most thoughtfully supplied and laid out. Beds were super comfortable. Could see the ocean from the windows! Jennifer was also super responsive, replying immediately to any questions. (Communications were very efficient and easy with having added my husband and parents to the reservation even though I booked it, so my mom was able to reach out with questions independently of me since they arrived before I did.) The condo is easy to get to from the main thoroughfare in Norfolk and worked very well for going to and from my brother's house. Parking was never an issue even with 2 cars. Would definitely stay again! Hopefully get to experience it during beach season next time :)

We very much enjoyed our first stay in Williamsburg at this location! It was great to have a local coffeeshop within walking distance. Views of the pond were wonderful, and we even saw an eagle from our balcony. The James River is a short walk away and was lovely also. Would recommend!

Hands down - this is one of the best experiences my family and I have ever had in booking an airbnb. Home was beautiful (much larger than the photos depict!). My 3 and 1 year old girls had an absolute blast, and they even had a high chair and pack and play brought in for us ahead of our approved early arrival. My husband is deployed in VA and it made everything so much easier. The view was gorgeous and we had everything we needed. I even got a relaxing bath in the master bathroom! Thank you so much for the quick responses, early check-in and welcoming stay. Truly made my week!

Hadley was so helpful and friendly. Her place is exactly what my family and I were looking for. I definitely look forward to staying here next time we’re in town. I would definitely recommend!

Gayle’s place was a great location to stay at with our dog!!! Great neighborhood to walk him in and the marina/beach is an added bonus! Gayle was very communicative and check in was easy. The space of the condo was great for a family and large dog! We will definitely be staying again!

I absolutely loved the townhouse! Clean, plenty of space, plenty of parking, garage access, full of supplies & appliances. I was able to walk to the grocery store and restaurants. It’s located near a major street which made it easy to find anything I needed, but it still was private. I will definitely reach out to Mina for future visits and hopefully I can return to this particular property.
