Family-friendly holiday rentals in Yosemite West

This was my first trip with my girlfriend and our dog, and definitely not our last in this cabin! The area is peaceful, the home was super clean, and the fenced area for our dog was really helpful. Our dog really loved the space being able to roam freely inside and outside of the cabin. Loved the gated doors if you want to just hangout in the porch area with your pet or let them loose. The cabin was equipped with everything from all types of kitchen ware to warm blankets. The distance to Yosemite Falls was only about an hour drive. Loved seeing the wildlife around the cabin such as families of deer. This cabin definitely felt cozy and comfortable. The washer and dryer came in handy as well when returning from hikes so traveling light with clothes is ideal when staying here. At no point did we feel unsafe especially at night. Communication with Steve was very informational and rapid. Had the best experience overall and looking forward to booking our next stay here again!

Regina’s place was truly exceptional. It was such a welcoming, clean, and immensely comfortable house — we felt so at home here. There was so much space and the home had such great attention to detail. The backyard was beautiful, and we even had a quick mini photo shoot there since it was so pretty. We came during summer time, so didn’t make use of the hot tub since it was really hot outside, but it seemed really nice for the cooler days. There is also a jacuzzi/tub indoors in the master suite as well, which was really nice even during the summer, since the entire home is very well air conditioned. The kitchen was fully stocked and had almost anything you could possibly need. There was also a plethora of board games, as well as a pool table, so there was so much to do just within the house itself. Regina was also a pleasure to work with and overall was a 10/10 experience. Note: AT&T service was good, but t-mobile was spotty in that area. But once we were in the house, the wifi alleviated any signal issues, so we didn’t have any problems.

Even at five stars, this place is underrated! Great base camp for yosemite adventures. The hot tub nestled under the pines is like a dream--we can't wait to come back and will definitely seek this cabin in the pines out for another stay!

Just like some of the prior reviews mentioned, we wished we would have booked an extra couple of days to dedicate solely to enjoying Copper Lodge and all it has to offer. We spent a day at the creek climbing on rocks and enjoying the sunny day. Our kids loved exploring and finding rocks to throw into the water, the tree swing and definitely the playground and ping pong table!!! My son cried when we told him we were leaving and has been asking to go back every hour or so for the past 2 days. It's safe to say this place was a win for all of us. Can't wait to come back. We will definitely be making Copper Lodge our home base for Yosemite trips from now on!!!! Thanks for all the thoughtful amenities and 4 days of much needed peace in nature.

Had a great little getaway to Yosemite in Sara and Tony’s cozy cabin. We were very comfortable there, everything was spotlessly clean. They sent out clear instructions about everything before we arrived and called once we checked in with additional info. They were very quick to respond when we had questions. Would definitely stay again and recommend the place to a friend!

We were fortunate to find Cabernet's house at the last min while looking for a place to ring in 2025. Nestled at the top of the perimeter of the Yosemite valley in Oakhurst, the house is a rare find. The weather was beautiful, we got to breath refreshing fresh air and got to enjoy all the amenities at the place. Things we enjoyed. <> Wood burning indoor fireplace. The house was nice and toasty. Perfect for end of Dec/Jan temperatures. <> Large fenced yard for our fur babies. I must say this was the highlight of the trip as it's not easy to find properties that have a completely fenced backyard. Our two husky girls sure enjoyed running around a clean grassy hard. Thank you or WOOF WOOF ! <> Beautiful furniture, clean carpets, well stocked kitchens with a lots of pots and pans to cook. <> Cabernet is super responsive. Very happy about this since a host that communicates well makes the entire experience special ! Thanks Cabernet. Looking forward to visiting again !

Bob & Barbara's place was fantastic and they were so responsive to the couple questions we had! The home is perfect for a Yosemite visit. It is literally less than 10 minutes from the South Gate of Yosemite and only about 20 minutes to Oakhurst. The entire home is so cozy and so clean! We especially loved the hot tub after long days in the park. We also really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen which we were able to make full family meals in over the New Year's holidays. The fireplacewas great to cozy up to and read or watch a movie. We truly had the best time and cannot wait to come back!

I had a wonderful stay at Marilyn & Albert’s cottage. So quiet and peaceful and set in magical surroundings. My dog Skye loved our walks around the 20 acres of natural, unspoilt countryside. Marilyn was so responsive, and was generous in leaving fruit and eggs to welcome me. I’m planning another visit in March, and I just can’t wait!

The house is great! It’s quiet and spacious. It’s about an hour and some minutes away from the arch rock entrance to Yosemite but it’s a nice drive. Don’t expect signal or wifi while you drive. The house is big and can fit about 4-6 people maybe more if people are bunking together. The kitchen is huge! I love the history of the house it used to be restaurant so I guess that’s why the kitchen is huge. The beds are warm and comfortable, those space heaters are magicians because they work so well!! Only issue was the dishwasher, which we never used, but Nicole was responsive even though it was Christmas Day (thank you again Nicole!) Overall cute house near Yosemite it’s rustic and has all the amenities. Would happily stay here again!

I had an amazing time at this house. The house was beautiful, it was the perfect nature vibe, it was easy to walk back and forth from the house to the dock. There were waterfalls all around the lake and fun trails to explore. I would absolutely go back.

Had a wonderful stay! The place is absolutely gorgeous, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

This property is a hidden gem. The cabin is generous and common space with sizable bedrooms. Well appointed to feel right at home. The magic of this place is the serene surroundings and incredible views. There is much to explore on the 12 acre property, including a great trail, a wonderful outdoor game space with several options to choose from. Various seating areas, including a covered porch with spectacular views of the sunset. The lower level play area with three bunkbeds has an ample selection of board games and art supplies. Additionally, the host has a basket of welcoming dog supplies, including water and food bowl a large pet blanket and toys. The biggest challenge, maybe not wanting to leave the warm and inviting property.

We had an amazing stay at the homestead. Each day, we explored Yosemite and loved coming back to the cozy home in the evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and we especially enjoyed unwinding by the fire while reading the Yosemite books provided. Feeding the horses and having fresh eggs for breakfast added a special touch to our stay. Megan was incredibly responsive and suggested a great place for horseback riding, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Beautiful property! Amy and Josh were very responsive. The airbnb was well stocked as well. We had some Difficulty with heating the house but it was better on the second day.

A beautiful place with a beautiful backyard with places for activities and lots of space for the 7 of us on our trip to Yosemite! The town is small and a little ways away for quick grocery shopping but is friendly and lively! A perfect place for any vacation for the mountains and would happily recommend this for anyone! Would definitely come here again!

We absolutely loved our stay! The owners were responsive and wonderfully communicative. The house is beautifully maintained and everything we expected and way more. The AC was on for us, making unpacking much more pleasant. The beds are super comfortable, and the bedding so soft. The living room was perfect for lounging with our group. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and the BBQ was pristine. Couldn’t imagine a better place to spend a weekend with your nearest and dearest.

10 out of 10 all around. One of the most comfortable and beautiful places we've had the pleasure to stay in. One night we even returned to a small herd of mule deer lazily grazing on the lawn. It was a magical few days here and we hope to return again the next time we're in the area. Plus, you really can't beat the amenities at this location and Beth is delightful.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. B'ful place and so thoughtfully done. Every corner thought in great detail and attention. The gesture by the host to get us fresh cookies on arrival won our hearts. I wish we could stay longer. The airbnb itself is worth a 2-3 day stay over.

This place was beautiful. You won’t regret it. Would definitely come back. We were there in the rain and still enjoyed the scenery very much.

We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. The entire home was spotless, the running water was warm, and the property was peaceful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away.

Our family with small children and 2 dogs felt right at home. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for cooking so you dont have to buy every ingredient(spices, seasonings, oil etc). The yard and pool is fenced so no worries about dogs or kids jumping in the pool without your knowledge. Our favorite part was the spacious warm living space and the jacuzzi right outside the back door. Our toddler enjoyed “swimming” multiple times a day, thank you so much for sharing this home. We would love to come back again for sure!

The Stewart family providing a very welcoming vacation house. We spent 3 nights at the house around Thanksgiving with two families, totaling 8 persons. It fitted us all very comfortably. There are many games and activities to do around the house. Our kids spent MANY hours outside on the huge trampoline in the front of the house, and playing with the foosball table inside the house. We also played soccer and baseball on the baseball field behind the house. So much fun! One day we made a roadtrip to Yosemite, which was a beautiful scenic 1.5hr drive away. The grownups and young-ones all enjoyed the hot tub under the very clear nightly starry sky! Wow so many stars!! We definitely recommend this house for group gatherings! The only downside we could think of was that there are no curtains installed in any of the bedrooms.

We had a wonderful stay at Christine’s Cozy Corner! The place was clean and cozy and we had plenty of space! She was so sweet and put heaters in the rooms for us and had everything ready to go. It was within a short drive to Yosemite too! Excellent place!!
