Beachfront holiday rentals in Yucatan

Terrific place with a spectacular private beach the we generally had to ourselves for the entire week we were there!

Excellent choice. Exactly as described. Very clean and welcoming touches to make us feel at home. Appreciated the amount of towels, paper products, kitchen staples, water jugs. This home has it all, two outdoor spaces, nice pool, outdoor eating and lounging day or night. Comfortable beds. Enough hot water for a short shower but more than enough for what we needed. Well equipped kitchen. As mentioned you need a car for this house. Great markets and convenience stores 5 minutes away. Restaurants in nearby Chicxulub or Progresso or Telchac, 10-15 min. Recommend the restaurant at Sayachaltun near Telchac and Osteria italiana 386. The beach is good for walking especially early morning low tide. During our stay there was a lot of sargassum. There is a breakwater at the beach directly in front of this house. Very quiet, bit of construction nearby nothing terrible. The neighbours were not in during our stay so it felt very private. Pool would always be private. Recommend!

Our stay was everything we wanted. The house was exactly as described in the photos and most importantly it was clean. The walk to the beach every morning and the relaxing waters made it so hard to want to leave the house. The beach in this area is not too deep (maybe 2-3 feet deep during the day and 3-4 at night) which made it perfect for my 6.5 and 8 year olds to play and be safe. The fact that there was no washer dryer wasn’t an issue because Ricardo was quick to suggest a place to go to and we also felt that since were there only 5 days we had enough clothes to not need to do laundry. The nights out in the backyard gondola on the hammocks were so relaxing and just perfect. I cant wait to come back! Thank you Ricardo.

We had a great time staying at this Airbnb! The pictures really don’t do it justice, it’s a huge open concept house that is just beautiful! Lots of natural light and positioned right on the beach. We spent a lot of time walking the beach looking for shells, swimming in both the ocean and the pool, and hanging out on the amazing roof set-up. Additionally, the recommended catering/ private chef experience was truly a delight. Great food & great people, would highly recommend. Local restaurants are also great, so much delicious seafood! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and would readily recommend it in the future or return ourselves. Thank you to all the hosts for a great stay!

The place is amazing for a large family and with little ones! The beach is delicious and the ocean view is unparalleled. Communication was excellent, we will definitely be back.

Excellent place, private, comfortable, clean, spacious, nice pool very nice in general, the house is super equipped, beach very close, the only one but is that in the showers of the bedrooms upstairs there is no hot water, I say by the heat in certain seasons it may not be necessary but for us the hot water is essential and there was only a little in the bathroom downstairs, I also recommend that if their stays are long, take a car why there are no places nearby to go out to eat and with this they can move or go to the super for food. The location was perfect. The house sits on a main road but has private parking that blocks any heavy noise that the road might bring. It is right on the sea with just a few steps down and you are directly on a sandy beach. The pool was clean and perfect for a quick dip to cool off. There was plenty of outdoor furniture that was comfortable and clean. The house was fantastic. It has 3 very large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, the other two share a bathroom. There were some very good details on how to operate everything in the house that ranged from how to hang a hammock to how to operate the on-demand hot water. There were plenty of items in the kitchen and everything we needed (although we didn't cook a dinner-time meal.) The bathrooms were clean with good water pressure and up to date. All the beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Christine and Sonja were instantly available and happy to offer suggestions and recommendations when we asked.

Eugenia’s house is very spacious and comfortable. Perfect location, right on the beach with a lovely swimming pool. Don Lalo, the caretaker, was always attentive to all our needs. Thank you, Eugenia, for providing us with a wonderful stay!

We had a family wedding in Merida that brought us to the area. We wanted a few days ahead of time to relax and enjoy the beach. The home is right on the beach with bedrooms overlooking the water. Spectacular views! Very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen to prepare meals. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and kayaking early in the morning when the waters were at their calmest. Wednesday’s morning we found the “snowbird’s” farmer’s market in Chicxulub. Great food, crafts & excursions! Highly recommend!! Thank you Roger for everything!

A wonderful retreat! Would definitely recommend. We loved the easy walk to the beach and saw sea turtles while using the kayaks! The pool was awesome and the home itself is stunning.

The apartment is so nice and clean, feel like home. The common areas like the terrace pool needs maintenance tasks and bugs exterminating.

I wish we would've rented a car as there are no golf cart rentals in Telchac. Google shows many restaurants but they are all almost closed our close at 6pm. no night life and very hard to get around.

Wilma and Fred were very responsive and great hosts. The home was exactly like the photos but we had a difficult time with the location as there weren’t many amenities nearby. We would recommend this space as a peaceful beach getaway as there weren’t any neighbors. We were a little let down with the hot water as the tanks were very small and barely lasted long enough to get wet, turn the water to cold, soap then turn the water hot and wash soap off. This took some planning as you have to switch the water on a little while in advance. The beds were largely ok and each room had its own fan and air conditioner. The kitchen has most of the basics and even a charcoal grill… but would definitely benefit from an update. The pool water was chilly (December) but the views and access to the beach were unbeatable.

This place is truly magical. The nature and its peaceful surroundings were exactly what we had hoped for. The highlight was the sunbed on the roof. Such an amazing spot. Water was warm and the ocean next to some fisher boats all to ourselves. The kitchen’s plancha was another highlight and we had the most comfortable beds of our whole trip. Our day trip with Paco was a great suggestion by Tomás and did not disappoint- from crocodiles to Flamingos and Pelicans, we saw it all and were also able to stroll through Rio Lagartos for lunch, where we also bought some fresh fish directly from the cooperativa - which we made on the plancha. Turns out best fish dish during the holiday! If you want to calm your senses and relaxation in its true form, this is the place! Two tips from our end: don’t forget there is an hour time difference when heading back to Cancuun airport. And also be aware of potential sand flies.

Loved this place! A little rustic (as noted in the listing) but very comfortable. The location is great and the neighborhood was very quiet. Easy drive to great restaurants, LaTerracita in Chelem is my favorite. The outdoor space here is really nice. The views are beautiful, the furniture is comfortable and plentiful and the pool was a good size to even swim a little. Great stay! We would love to come back!

An excellent host was Oscar, despite some difficulties that we had in renting a car he patiently waited for us for more than 5 hours...He welcomed us very kind, with some welcome snacks, he made us very good recommendations to visit and eat and always very attentive that we were having a great time. 100% recommended the place, very spacious rooms, the kitchen very well equipped both in appliances and utensils...nothing is missing. The beach just a few steps away, is located, very nice everything, we had the best.

Ana was a great Host, her divine house by the sea was the perfect place to spend a few days on a family vacation. The people who support Ana in handling the house very helpful and friendly as well. 100% recommended accommodation. The place is exactly as the pictures look. We would definitely come back

Everything was excellent with the Villa de Juan Andrés, we felt right at home my family and I, was attentive at all times. Ivet the person in charge of super attentive and very nice cleaning with everyone, Carlos who supports with maintenance as well, it is undoubtedly a place we would return to, the Villa is very nice and comfortable, it has everything you need to have a good family vacation, we thank Juan Andrés and all his team!!
