What a great place and what an unique road to get there! We had an amazing time staying at Basic’s house. The location is breathtaking, quiet with a view on all the valley. It felt like home and was nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully furnished, and we enjoyed learning how to make Turkish coffee. Our kid enjoyed the bedroom next to ours. During all our stay Basic remained available for any question and made thoughtful suggestions for outdoor activities. We recommend this place and hope to come again in the future.

Nice and clean house in a beautiful area with plenty of amenities within cycling distance. Andrea has provided us with many tips about the area and restaurants. A BBQ was also quickly arranged when we asked for it. Fresh herbs from their own garden were also allowed to be taken. We had a nice week with a lovely house as a base.

Well, what can I say? I didn't want to leave!!! Communication was always available, local recommendations were beyond my expectations, breakfast was drool worthy. The farm animals were adorable, and I will carry the farm dog Lika's kisses and hugs with me throught my travels. I highly recommend this stay if you are looking for a beautiful and picturesque stay in Slovenia. And the hosts made me feel like a welcome family member. Many thanks!

The place is magical! The view from the breathtaking terrace! The place is perfect for visiting the area. The house is very well kept and equipped, we had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay a lot, the host was very responsive and helpful, everything was as described in the pictures, the house is cozy but in the winter it can get cold at night but you should be fine if you add wood before you go to sleep. The location is very remote but you can commute with car very easily to any important place in Slovenia. It might be difficult to get to the house when it snows without AWD car. The family own winery is great and we really recommend to buy some wine there. The host helped us with that. Overall, I would say the host was great.

We slept in one of the wooden cabins. Super cute, well insulated and there is a heater. We arrived an hour earlier than the normal check-in time, but this was not a problem at all. The sanitary facilities were very neat and clean. The only downside was the soft jet of the shower and that the water didn't get really nice and warm. Furthermore, we enjoyed ourselves despite the bad weather and will definitely recommend this place.
