Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Zambezi River

We had a lovely stay at PAZ cottage. The views were breathtaking. The cottage was very clean and cozy. Can’t wait to visit PAZ again

What a fabulous find. This beautiful property is just perfect. We could not have asked for anything more perfect for us as a family from the UK and the Netherlands. The pictures don’t do the property justice as a photo can’t show how big it is and can’t express the ‘luxury homely’ feeling we got. As ex Zimbos with no family to stay with in Harare for the first time in many years I was anxious as to ‘where, what, how’ and boy did this exceed what we expected. We had a wonderful stay at Simbarashe’s place! The host was very helpful and responsive to every request. The place was exactly as described, the housekeeper May Mishi was a delight, very helpful and friendly. The neighbour is safe and quiet. We recommend the place and we are certainly coming back! The place was serene,very friendly host.The furniture pieces stood out for me,carefully selected ;classy and a homely finish.We really enjoyed our stay.The fire place was an icing to the cake and made the cold evenings enjoyable.Cecilia is an amazing human,may God grant her all her hearts desires. She really took care of us and not to mention the hearty meals she made for us.She is so down to earth and very cheerful. I would recommend Ruby Lodge over and over again.

Fadzayi was quick to respond, and the staff on site was very helpful. I booked for a family retreat and they enjoyed every minute of it :)

Our stay at Plagis Place was an incredible and unforgettable experience. This house was exactly as advertised if not better, certainly exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate and spacious both inside and outside with plenty of storage space. I especially loved the kitchen, lounge and dining area plus of course, the garden. My daughter loved the home office, pool and the gym. The house is located in a safe and quiet area and yet easily reachable, close to shops and restaurants. Tendai was a super host, who was incredibly responsive and so friendly he made us feel special, without being intrusive. Any issues we had, he made sure to respond and solve them asap and kept us informed at all times. The house keeper, Irene, was a delight, who kept the house clean, ensuring our stay was much more relaxed. If you are looking for a home away from home, Plagis Place is worth every penny. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. We will be coming back.

A lovely house in a quiet neighborhood close to several local hotspots. This was a great place to retire after a busy day.

I was working during my trip and the backup power and fast internet really helped even during power outages. The place is very spacious in a nice neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this place.

Sanel’s place was wonderful! Honestly it’s even better than the pictures. Everything was pristine, modern and super safe. He was a diligent and attentive host, would 100% come back when in Harare. The best airbnb I’ve been to.

Gorgeous place, with a 5* caretaking team. The high ceilings make the place feel vast, and it's pristinely clean. All the bedrooms are large, even the 'smaller' ones. The open plan central area and kitchen, has not one, but two mezzanine TV lounges above it. Even with a full house, there are enough areas to split around, so it won't feel crowded. The garden is jumbo sized, plenty long enough for sprint training (and "50+" cartwheels). We spent several evenings of our week just chilling on the terrace cooking up braais. The location is quiet, with a direct route to the CBD. There is a mall with nice shops and restaurants a 20 minute walk away. But the real stars of the show were Innocent the groundskeeper, and his wife Emma. They were always available, and went out of their way to help whenever needed. Moreso, they just radiated warmth and good cheer all the time (Innocent has an infectious laugh). If the opportunity arose, I would happily do another longer stay because of them!

Met all expectations

I had the most wonderful experience at this house. The house is even better than what the pictures show. I didn't have to speak to Shingi as gogo was so capable of resolving any requests I had. She is the added gem that made the stay here more than worth it. She is welcoming, knowledgeable and goes beyond the call of duty! The only regret I had was that the rest of my family was not being able to fly into Zimbabwe on time to enjoy this place with me and my elder son. We certainly hope this place will be available for us again on our next visit to the country!

Kathleen is a wonderful host, warm and interesting. The house feels like home, with birds singing in the morning and the smell of flowers. Even her dogs were a delight for my kids. She has been living in Botswana for a long time and her views and advices are invaluable. Worth staying there!

Wow, what a beautiful big house. Lots of beds bathrooms, big kitchen (made a large breakfast) and more. No electricity problems - they have a backup. Just what we needed to get our group ready for a wedding. We had zero problems. Will book again just to relax and enjoy family time.

Second time staying at Patricia's home in the Honde Valley - What a treat. This place is BEAUTIFUL and I cannot recommend enough. Both Marion and Rutendo went out of their way to make us feel right at home. Addition of WiFi is a huge plus - Thank you :-) We'll be back !
