Great place to stay, easy to get to and very comfortable

Very beautiful place and a perfect home base to visit national parks and such around the area. Host is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend and would stay again if I were to come back!

We were 2 families (4 adults and 5 children) in the apartment for 6 days. It was an ideal base camp to visit Bled, walk through Triglav Park or Jezersco (less touristy but just as beautiful). As all the comments warn, you have to get used to the ringing of the bells and the absence of blinds in the rooms, but the beds are very comfortable, the apartment is very clean and well-equipped, and the hosts are friendly. We recommend it!

Renovated apartment with all comforts, the kitchen does not have all the accessories that would be needed to make it feel like home, but overall it is a nice apartment... too bad for the complex in which it is located, quite dated and in need of some improvements such as redoing the wooden stairs that lead to the apartment (very bad conditions, very wobbly), light in the hallway that leads to the apartment is absent, in the evening it is dark and not really practicable. Tea, however, is an active and helpful host for all needs. I recommend it for the value.

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

We loved our stay at the Villa Irena in Vipavski Kriz, what an experience! Marija and Irena were ever so hospitable. They've helped us a lot with the check-in and check-out so we can make the most of our short stay in the region. We've arrived late after a long journey so it really helped to have the basics- tea, coffee, local information etc Vipavski Kriz is a unique place, incredibly beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The Villa Irena is ideal for exploring this part of Slovenia- the coastline, the valley and the local culture. The hosts are part of the local community of Ajdovscina and it was an immense pleasure to be their guests. The villa is just as beautiful as in the pictures or even more given the setting of Vipavski Kriz with its heritage and the surrounding nature.

We had a very pleasant stay, starting with the warmest welcome I ever experienced with an Airbnb. We had enough privacy during our stay and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors with a river swimming spot just across the road. The immediate vicinity of the train wasn’t a problem. We would definitely come back!

Perfect accomodation for a quiet getaway in Bled. 5 minutes drive into the town and a lovely bakery a few minutes away

Our time at Ana‘s was great! The house is in a fantastic location in the Slovenian vineyards. The accommodation was very clean and perfectly equipped. Ana is an incredibly nice hostess and looked after us warmly. The location of the house is ideal for day trips to Trieste, Ljubljana and Venice. Huge recommendation for families or small groups!
