AMAZING stay with Augustus. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time and had everything we needed. He answered messages right away & delivered whatever we needed immediately. Place is gorgeous. Amazing views. Quiet area. Right in front of the lake. Paddle boards and sauna made this the best experience ever. It was so magical here!!!!

Gregs place is beautiful! It has such an amazing view and not too far from San Marcos. The restaurants in the area are lovely, and I also enjoyed the hike to Tzununa. He was an also a friendly and very responsive host.

It is a beautiful cabin, the location is excellent, very few minutes from San Juan and San Pedro. The hosts are very attentive. The super friendly dogs.

This place exceeded our expectations, it was even more beautiful than the photos! The living space is spacious and breathtaking, with a stunning yard that offers an unobstructed view of the volcano. The kitchen was fantastic, and we loved spending our evenings cooking dinner and grilling on the barbecue. Every night, we used the temazcal (like a sauna), which made our stay even more special. Lesley and the groundskeeper were incredibly responsive, kind, and made us feel right at home. Lesley also shared local recommendations and kept us informed about daily events in San Marcos. An unforgettable stay, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Casa Paloma was an easy walk to town. Perfect for jungle lovers who enjoy the sounds of nature and the serenity of your own little nooks. The host was super responsive to all of our questions and we booked a massage that was amazing. The open air concept made for a perfect getaway with comfortable temperatures day and night when we stayed in April. The kitchen had coffee accessible for anyone to make and the bathrooms had refreshing hot water. Everything felt very clean and it was nice that water taxis knew exactly where to go. There were plenty of towels and the room had fresh flowers, which was a nice touch. We stayed two days but could easily have stayed a whole week and still found plenty to do!

The view of the lake was spectacular, the bed was very comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. It’s about a 10-minute walk to town - close enough for convenience, but far enough away to feel a bit separate from the bustle of San Marcos. Although the gate is right off the road, it’s sat down away from the road so that you don’t hear any road noise. Mary is an excellent host, very personable, responsive, and knowledgeable about the area. Her guidebook of activities and restaurants is amazing. She suggested some lovely local hikes for us that were off the beaten path. The kitchen is adequate for light cooking, which is all we needed for a shorter stay. The neighborhood is not the quietest, as it’s fairly dense. There’s construction going on starting early in the morning, and often music or parties nearby at night (but they did not go late). But I think that would be true anywhere in San Marcos with a view of the lake. Overall it was a great spot for our trip to Atitlan.

Maura’s home is truly special! The house is clean, comfortable, airy, and well appointed. The views from the sitting room may be some of the best in Lake Atitlan – seriously! We love d San Marcos: restaurants, and small town feel. We would definitely return and rent Maura’s place again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful lakefront, incredible morning view, centrally located with enough comfortable space for our group of 4. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!
