Holiday rentals in Ad Dakhiliyah ‍Governorate

This is a large property in Saiq, Jebel Al Akhdar providing private accommodation in this very special village in the mountains. We were very well looked-after by Muntaser who showed us around the stunning landscape and local villages including Al Aqor, Wadi Bani Habib and Al Suwgra (now an exclusive boutique hotel clinging to the mountainside where your baggage has to be transported via zipwire across the valley). He kindly drove our car from place to place so that we could do as little or as much exploring on foot as we wished. His experience of driving on the insanely steep off-road tracks was invaluable - despite the Nissan Patrol being a very capable 4x4, I would have been too nervous to do this myself! The most special treat was being invited for قهوة (coffee) which was a great honour appreciated by the whole family. Thank you Saif!

What a lovely unique experience. The eco cabins were very cosy with comfy beds, all the tea and coffee you could drink and what a fab garden/farm to pick your vegetables from. The outside kitchen was easy to use and had all the necessary equipment. Thanks to Bernadette for explaining their farming strategy. Really interesting (and I’m not a gardener). Would recommend to anyone who likes something a bit different from a typical self catering option.

I had a fantastic stay at this cozy studio! The space was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The interiors were absolutely beautiful and tastefully done, with a modern yet cozy vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit, including a well-equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and a super comfy bed. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and communication smooth from start to finish. The location was perfect too—close to great restaurants and cafes. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We loved staying here. It was truly a luxurious experience which was perfect for us on our relaxing stay in Nizwa. It is close by to the old city just an 8 minute drive (mainly taken up by needing to uturn as it’s on the other side of the highway). The pool and hot tub were fantastic and the rooms were wonderful. The place is extremely clean, smells amazing, is beautiful and looks better than the pictures! The bathrooms were also very comfortable and the amenities were great. Parking is also easy. At one point during the day one of the neighbors was doing construction and that night they also put unpleasant smelling fertilizer which made it more difficult for us to enjoy outside but the host assured us this is not typical and the smell was gone by the morning and we relaxed outside again. The host is also very responsive and forgiving and helped us a lot during our stay. If you are hesitating to book this place, do not hesitate. Book your stay with Azzan now and thank me later!

We had an exceptional stay at this villa in Jabal Akhdar! The place was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a perfect retreat in the mountains. The heated swimming pool was a fantastic feature, allowing us to relax and enjoy the cool climate in total comfort. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. The caretaker was also very helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the mountains and easy access to nearby attractions. It truly made our trip unforgettable. For the price, this villa was excellent value for money! We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Jabal Akhdar. Would definitely stay here again!

Great hospitality and extraordinary kindness, not counting on the availability of D’Abdul, who is very attentive to his hosts . The place is really great and located in the middle of the palm grove from where you can stroll at your leisure. Thank you again for this timeless moment

I feel so blessed to have had this wonderful experience at this vacation home. The scenery was breathtaking, and you’ll even notice something about the air is different out here. It’s in a great location, but a 4x4 vehicle is a must—we learned the hard way when our SUV wasn’t approved to come up . It’s difficult to find taxis the walks weren’t bad at all, about 15 mins to restaurants and shops. This stay was the perfect escape from the busyness of Muscat. The home was immaculate, with beautiful outdoor seating areas to enjoy nature. I even spotted a shooting star!! The sky is so beautiful at night. Overall, it was an incredible experience and I’d return in a heartbeat!
