Holiday rentals with a kayak in Adams County

We loved the location of the house and the proximity to a park and the Lure Bar and Marina where we rented a pontoon and saw amazing sunsets. Lake Petenwell is gorgeous and huge! Great for boating!

It's a lake house🏖 We were in town for a snowy, valentines day weekend with our dogs. Plenty of room was provided for our dogs, inside and out-off leash trained, no fences. We had a snowstorm over the weekend and it was easy to get to even in the snow(with a 4 wheel drive vehicle 😁). We would definitely stay here again, would love to explore the area in the summer ❤️

The location and place itself was beautiful! My family and I had a wonderful time. Chris was very responsive to questions and concerns we had and was very understanding!

I was here with my family and everyone was happy, the home was very cozy with beautiful scenery surrounding the property. We were able to experience white tailed deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife on property. If you like the outdoors, this place is perfect.

I stayed here with my friends. We had a great time and enjoyed the accommodation. Tina also let us stay one more night for free. It was very pleasant and unexpected. Tina was also very nice and always ready to help . The property has everything you need and even more, a hot tub is also available. Definitely back here in the summer. Thank you, Tina. You are the best! .

The vacation in this house was very interesting. We have a large family and we needed a big house for a good price. In the house is very clean and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. There is something to do for both adults and children. Very beautiful nature, the house is closed on all sides by pine trees, which makes it even more attractive. In the yard there is everything for your vacation: grill, hut tab, volleyball court, bicycles, scooters, a place for a bonfire. Nearby is a large lake, which is attractive for fishermen. It is a 50-minute drive to the Cascade Mountain ski resort. Our family is satisfied with the vacation in this house and our rating is 5 stars!

Perfect stay for a weekend. Gorgeous wooded lot, private and quiet. House was exactly as pictured. Chris and Sue were communicative in advance of our stay as well.

Gorgeous house. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of small details like night lights in the bathrooms. Huge sectional couch and basket of cozy fleece blankets in the living room. Loved the built in shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in both showers. Very good food at Hoozel’s restaurant about a mile from the house. Will stay here again

Beautiful view of the river. Very nice place to stay with our friends. The large open area was our favorite gathering spot for meals. Enjoyed staying there and planning on coming back next year

I had a great experience at Tanya’s place. I ended up going alone (me time) and it was simply what I needed, a place to open my mind outside the city, quiet, private and with beautiful views! Will definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Paula and Rod's cottage! Their place was incredibly comfortable for our group of 6, clean, well-appointed, and had thoughtful touches throughout. It truly felt like they had considered everything we might need during our stay! The location was great, and they provided us with a ton of useful information (which we appreciated). Paula and Rod were proactive with their communications, and quick to respond to my questions during our stay. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect space for our weekend getaway. The space is very homey, has a stunning view of the lake, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Corinne was very responsive when I had questions.

Our family boating vacation in Mauston/Castle Rock Lake was beautiful and the accommodations and surrounding area felt safe and peaceful. The home was perfect for the amount of people we had and it was nice to each have our own space yet be all together for meals and entertainment. We loved Castle Rock Lake and will definitely come back again. We did have to rent a dock at another location for our boat, which we haven’t had to do at other lakes we have stayed at which was no fault of the renter as we knew this going in, but it was no more than a 7 minute drive, so we found it to be quite reasonable. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful A frame home in a private setting. I was there after a big snowstorm and it was so pretty. Outside temps were below zero but nice and warm inside the house.

Wow, what an unforgettable experience! We were looking for a place to disconnect from technology and truly reconnect with each other, and this beautiful A-frame on the lake provided the perfect setting. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful and picturesque it was. Justin has done an incredible job of preserving the original charm while blending in modern updates, creating a space that’s both cozy and stylish. We spent the whole weekend in awe, enjoying breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, while watching snowmobiles and ice fishermen on the lake. We can’t wait to return in the summer and enjoy a fire by the water. Honestly, the photos don’t even come close to capturing how amazing this place really is. Huge thanks to Justin for making this weekend so special.

We stayed here in February for an early Valentine's extended weekend. Very cute place and a peaceful area. We enjoyed a hike at nearby Roche a Cri state park and a trip to Fawn Creek Winery. But mostly we stayed in and soaked in the cozy atmosphere. A great stay!

It was a perfect getaway. My husband enjoyed ice fishing on the lake right outside the house. The house was beautiful and clean.

The place was great for a couples weekend. There are plenty of thing to do in the area and the fishing was good on the lake. The house was very nice and accommodations were great.
