Apartment holiday rentals in Alajuela Province

Great host very responsive and helped us get settled easily. Nice place very cozy!

This was my second stay within a month. Wish to make two additional points: Luis Carlos´s place is the only one among the last 50 apartments I have rented within two year period, which has a full set (7+pcs) Swiss made stainless steel pots and pans. So I prepared a large lentil stew, and found out that there were no deep plates nor adult size bowls to eat it. To answer properly to the question "was it worth the money paid" depends completely on the length of the stay. +++ Up to five days it is good value for the money. There is no weekly discount, which is a standard in most cases. I stayed 9 days, and the rent became quite overpriced. But overall it is a very nice place to stay.

This was my second time there. It is a few blocks from good restaurants and stores and not far from a mall and airport. Also, this time I booked last minute and Yusem was to accommodate me when I was having trouble finding a place on short notice.

This is a spacious and well lit apartment. And well stocked with just about everything needed for a longer stay. The apartment is located within a community of apartment buildings with a pool, event area, children's playground, etc, and that community is one of several in a larger group that also includes a small park and some walkable areas. Just outside of the larger area there is a shopping center with a grocery store, workout gym, restaurants, etc. The whole community kinda feels tucked out of the way of general everyday life, and there is not a whole lot you can reach by foot within a reasonable amount of time. However, the area seems to be developing as there is lots of open space and things under construction. Our host was exceptional and very responsive. We had a minor problem that she got resolved hours after contacting her. She had a fan delivered to the apartment when we complained about the heat. Our stay was truly a pleasure!

The place very quiet, exceeded my expectations, close to the airport, easy to get to many places ... would go there again... most importantly the host always responded fast.

I honestly loved staying at the Mc Guinness family home. They are a sweet family and the place is phenomenal both for short and long stays. It is private, quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommended 100%. If I had to stay again I would definitely choose them. So so so thankful!

If you are sensitive to noise, may not be a great spot for you as you can hear people during the day and the wind at night. But fantastic location with many walkable restaurants and stores nearby.

The place was perfect, we arrived later than expected at check-in but Ileana, she left us everything ready so that we could enter without hassle. She was super responsive. The place is beautiful. I super recommend it and would go back to there.

The apartment had great amenities and was decently priced. However, the address listed was wrong causing confusion and there were no Wi-Fi instructions provided. Nonetheless, highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and convenience a stone throw away from the airport!

The place was perfect for 3 adults. Carlos was a great host and the entire process was easy. The property had a guard so security was great

The supermarket is conveniently located next door.McDonald's is on the other side of the road, and there are many restaurants in the neighborhood.There is a dryer in the room, which was very helpful.

Great place! It has everything one needs for long stays. Really good location, halfway between the Airport and the capital San José. Decent internet for remote work. The host was very kind and attentive.

Marcela and Agustín were very friendly and will provide us with all the information of the apartment and its facilities. It has an excellent undercut of pool, courts and dog park. The apartment is full furnished and met our expectations and needs.

Fernando was so helpful with everything we needed and was willing to go out of his way to help us. Super friendly.

The condo was immaculate, loved our week visiting San Jose. So conveniently located, just 15 min from the airport and so many restaurants. The hosts are LOVELY! Wonderful communication and so helpful. Highly recommend.

Excellent place, everything is very clean and the condominium has many green areas and the clubhouse is spectacular, the view is not spectacular, a super recommended place if what you want is to relax and be quiet

This couple was so nice! They were kind, proactive, helpful, attentive and concise! The apartment was super clean and fully stocked with all the things you need to cook, make coffee, ice, etc, even board games and puzzles! The back was peaceful. We loved this space so much!!! We hope to come back again. Highly recommend this rental 🙌🏼

We had a little trouble getting the lockbox to open, but the host came right over and got it open. After that everything was perfect. The view of the hills in the distance is one of the highlights. We could watch the sunset each evening (the balcony faces west). It's a safe, quiet, gated community. It's about a 15-minute drive into Grecia, where most of the stores and restaurants are located, and about a 20-30 minute drive to Atenas and Sarchi. Definitely recommended.
