This quiet, round space is surrounded by forest. Only 7 miles from Talkeetna and close to the bike path. There's a view of the lake and with a short walk you can launch the canoe. You'll be amazed at how comfortable you can be without running water. Delicious drinking water is available in the yurt. The outhouse (pit toilet) is just steps away. All modern appliances and conveniences. You'll love it! We only book 3 night minimum stays on our calendar until March 1st then we open our calendar up to fewer days. Please know that there is so much to do and see in the Homer/Kachemak Bay area that 3 nights should always be the preference.

We are not your average getaway. Hidden in the rainforest canopy, spend the afternoon grilling on the porch while watching the eagles fly to and from their nest above the yurt. When your ready to wind down listen to the owls hoot around the fire ring while watching the sunset from exit glacier. A labor of love as my first home, I hope you get a slice of the serenity that comes with unplugging in this magical spot. If you’re lucky you’ll wake up to a moose or two in the pond.
