Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Albert Town

This is a spectacular apartment. The first thing you notice is the floor to ceiling windows that look out at Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains. Gorgeous! The living area is so comfortable but you’ll want to spend most of your time on the covered deck that is comfortably furnished. Take particular notice of the floating bird nests on the lake, right in front of the apartment. These are for the Southern Crested Grebes, which are fascinating to watch. They have very unique courtship behaviors. What a bonus! The kitchen is fully equipped. There are many restaurants about a block away. We are hikers. I would highly suggest Diamond Lake and Rocky Mountain trail, about 20 minutes away. Get there early to get a parking space. We hope we can return to this apartment - it is special.

This place is right on the edge of the lake, just a stones-throw to town. The outlook is stunning, the accommodation is so cozy and homely - it was like living in something from a magazine.

The flat is situated in a nice neighborhood (8-10 mins walk to town centre) and has an exceptional view! The flat was very clean and tidy and we love enjoying our meals on the balcony. One tidy point is that there were too many bugs flying into the room (maybe because the flat is so close to lakeside), but our experience was still fabulous.

Even more beautiful than the pictures. The balcony is sublime and it’s a short walk to the downtown restaurants on a very pleasant boardwalk. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the complex property.

This apartment was a fantastic proximity to the town of Wanaka. Really easy to find and furnished beautifully. The bbq terrace area was a great addition. The team at Release were really helpful. Especially when we left some belongings behind and they communicated and couriered them to us. Complementary wine on arrival was fantastic. Really over and above service. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay in Wanaka. The location was so convenient to walk to the town center and the lake. The views were spectacular! The place was very well outfitted, the linens and beds were so comfy and the baths were clean and convenient. We will definitely be back!

This is a great spot to stay, the pool,gym and hot tub were good for the days off/bad weather days on the slopes. We would stay again for sure. Super easy walk into town. The space is bigger than the pictures show big rooms, huge bathrooms, big living area. The parking sufficient for two cars, one car with ski racks even fitted easy in the garage. Beds good, pillows good, kitchen well equipped and lounge comfortable for the whole group. Air conditioning and heating were awesome. The privacy is lacking a little bit with people able to look straight in as is on ground level, but, closing the blinds on one side of the living rooms solved this. A boot warmer/dryer in the garage would be great (seems most other units had this?) The only real downside to this place is the master bedroom really lacks block out blinds, it feels almost like daylight in the room at night due to all the apartment lights outside being on all night! If you’re a light sleeper, bring an eye mask!

Fantastic stay at Paula’s house. Great home for our family and had everything we needed. Local Bakery and Four Square just down the road. Added bonus that we got to use the Community pool, it’s a great set up for families. The weather was perfect and we got to use the pool everyday. Would highly recommend staying here

The house is in a really nice spot with a beautiful view. Lots of interesting items in the house and access to a pool and spa just down the road. Lucinda was easy to communicate with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay at Sophia’s over Easter. Our 18 month old son loved the trampoline and having so much space. We loved the views and everything was only a short drive away.

This place has everything you need, and more! We had three little ones and there was plenty of space to run around outside. There's an in-built air-conditioning system, which helped on the hot Central Otago days and cooler nights.

Wonderful family accomodation fully equipped with all the mod cons, lots of space, amenities (e.g. on site gym , tennis), peaceful and in a great location. Couldn’t have picked a better place to be! Kids loved it.

A very nice apartment located right next door to a community pool, we had free access to it thanks to the use of Sachi’s membership. Clean, lovely apartment, very comfortable beds.
