The home was just as described and close to the family we were visiting. The home has a cozy, welcoming feel the moment you walk in the door with comfortable furnishings. Penny even put up a small Christmas tree and other tasteful Christmas touches for our Christmas time visit. She is very responsive and answered any questions promptly. We enjoyed being out of town and will likely return next time we are in Indiana. Country Home is a perfect name for this property.

I can't say enough good things about this place! 7 bedrooms all private! The place was so clean!! The ambiance inside was so unique and fun with all of the game mounts! There are wonderful local restaurants including Rosie's pizza which we definitely partook of! Firewood was available outside, kitchen amenities were more than anyone could ask for and when we wanted to watch the opening Packers game in the late evening it was super easy to connect to the large TV. We can not wait to come back!! Thanks Chris!!

We loved staying here the night before our daughter's wedding. It was a perfect home for the girls to all get ready with tons of space. I would love to stay here again!!! There was many different large areas for people to spread out. The upstairs great room was perfect for people to have their hair and makeup done and the house was great for photos as well!! Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Megan's place is a very beautiful rustic style cabin with modern appliances. Both bathrooms are modernized with a rustic feel. The multi-jet shower upstairs was great! My husband and my mom stayed with me and the main level bedroom/bathroom combo just off the kitchen was perfect for my elderly mom. The details throughout the cabin are impeccable. From hand carved wooden hinges to beautiful displays of antiques and an array of taxidermy, I could tell this cabin was built with love and very well maintained. Megan is a fantastic host and made sure our stay met our needs. She is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Megan's place for anyone visiting the area! The place was very spacious and comfortable. Just the right mix of modern and traditional, with a lot of room to spread out. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of TV areas, including a neat little room my husband named “man-cave” to watch TV. Overall, neat house that I would stay in again. I would vote it the best I have stayed in Terre Haute. Of note, four beds are upstairs in a spacious attic nook with a TV area and bathroom. The other two bedrooms are on the lower floor. Kelly and her husband were very responsive to any needs that we had, and when we ran into an issue they responded quickly. The house was great!

Lovely, peaceful location. Spacious and well furnished home. Comfy beds and bedding, plush bathroom towels. Erin was an accomodating host and replied quickly to our messages. Will definitely stay again.

The place was perfect, everything was as described and couldn’t ask for a better stay. Definitely will stay again when I’m back in town.

We stayed at Damon’s condo for 6 weeks after our twin granddaughters were born so we could help out the new family. We chose it for its convenient location and amenities - it was exactly as described, immaculate condition and very comfortable. The view of the lake is very peaceful. We also appreciated the well appointed kitchen and extra supplies for our stay - very thoughtful.
