Family-friendly holiday rentals in Alto Alentejo

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

What an incredible apartment! It’s fully equipped, immaculately clean, and the beds are so comfortable—perfect for a good night's sleep. There are also so many useful items for kids, which makes it super convenient for families. The huge terrace and jacuzzi provide such a lovely space to relax. This is my third time staying here. The flat is extremely convenient, being close to bus stops, a subway station, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It is fully equipped with all the necessary furniture and appliances. Thanks to close communication with Jorge, I had a comfortable and worry-free stay this time too. What an amazing stay! From the location, which embraces nature and brings incredible calm, to the house itself, equipped with all the necessary utensils for a perfect stay. The apartment was beautiful and spacious and very comfortable for 4 adults. Sandra was very helpful and gracious in letting us coming into the apartment early when I told her when our flight was arriving. We liked the neighborhood. We would stay again.

I booked this place for my parents to stay in while visiting me in Lisbon, perfect location 20 mins walking from the heart of Lisbon, but also the metro is right outside the apartment which takes you to the centre in under 10 mins. Isabel was super responsive and accommodating and check-in/check-out was straightforward. The apartment was exactly as described and perfect for my parents for a long weekend in Lisbon. A great base for anyone visiting with plenty of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby. I would definitely book this place again 😀

Bruno’s place was peaceful and a relaxing sanctuary including the bells from sheep next door He was helpful in suggesting local treasures and places to find local cuisine. Little touches around the sweet cottage added to feeling welcomed Also very responsive and accommodating. Would love to return

Fantastic stay. We arrived in a storm and the host was incredibly helpful getting us safely to the cabin, late in the evening. The cabin was well equipped, we cooked a lot and it was warm with the heaters in the mornings. Excited to come back again! Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic 5 day stay. Lynne greeted us and showed us around. A very well positioned little cottage with spectacular views lots of privacy and everything else you need. It had a little kitchen with all essentials and warmth from either Ac or the log burner made it really comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay we hope to come again sometime.

Pedro's flat was clean, large and exactly like pictures and description. Fast internet...at least 200Mbs d/u speed and direct access to router if one needs to plug directly via ethernet. The location in Alfama is very central and is on main road with the 28 trolley running directly in front of the building. The noise from street and trolley is minimal. For those who don't know Lisbon, the city in extremely hilly and Alfama even more, so be aware that you will be walking uphill or up stairs very often if you choose this neighborhood. There is another vacation rental upstairs from the flat and depending on how those guests may walk, there could be noise as it is an older building with wood floors. We were aware of small shower...which is accurate...but the volume/pressure of water and very hot temperatures made the shower better than most. Overall, Pedro's flat is great choice and met all expectations.

Annemie is a wonderful and generous host who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. The house is in an amazing location, up in the hills with beautiful views and bird song. Pool wonderful and kitchen well equipped. We had a great few days. Thank you 🙏🏼

We stayed at Joana's place for the second time on this property and it was beautiful again. The house is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The grounds are just beautiful and my kids went exploring a lot. By car, you can easily get around the beaches nearby and to Melides. We'd love to come a third time too! 💜

Very nice cottage! Beautiful decor, lots of space to store things. Spacious bathroom, with enough hot water. Beautiful outdoor seating, swimming pool nicely maintained. Upon arrival there was some bread, water, fruit, jam,... super attentive! Highly recommended, very nice area, a 10-minute drive away you are in shops, restaurants,...

Great family apartment with everything you need for a longer stay. There are heaters in every room, so the apartment can be heated during colder months. CD collection, TV and toys are excellent for rainy days. Great choice of local and international cafes and restaurants nearby, plus grocery stores and a playground. Nearby bus stops and metro stations give you options to go anywhere. Friendly host to help with everything.

We had a great time at Victoria's place. the views are beatiful, the house is very spacious for a big family/group and was very clean. the pool area is also very nice as well as the cinema area. is very well equiped -kitchen utensiles, bbq, linen, etc. the only improvement point, in our opinion, are the size of the double beds, which are a bit small for a couple :) thank you for the good time!

Impeccable exterior for this kind of rental, sun, swimming pool, terrace, fireplace-barbecue, house "like at home" with everything you need to live there, well equipped with household electronics, quiet despite the "Portuguese" dogs who often bark at night but almost not in our case, quiet in the neighborhood, the market 100m from the house and supermarkets that are not very far either, my favorite beach (Princesa) 5 minutes by car.

Renata is a wonderful host, she is friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Highly Recommended.

Everything was perfect. We were staying five nights with our three year old son and we felt at home, he also enjoyed a lot of the company of the animals: dogs, cats, horses and chickens. Åse and Lars were very kind and were attentive to our needs at all times. The accommodation is very well located, surrounded by nature, but close enough to some beaches and places of interest such as Alcobaça, Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha... An unforgettable experience that we would like to repeat.

Exceptional views of the ocean and sunset every night. Very good times with the family in the unmissable place of the house: the pool, a real pleasure when you wake up, at noon for an aperitif, and in the evening when you return from the beach!! lovely home, we had a great stay even though the weather was terrible.

We spent a wonderful time at Cristina's beautiful house. There is a lot to explore in the neighbourhood - very nice beaches, beautiful views at the oceans, close to Sesimbra and Lisabon - a perfect stay for some days. The house was very convenient for a family with two teenagers. They had their own rooms and separate bath. It is very nicely furnished and has very private touch, which we very much liked. Cristina's parents welcomed us and gave us helfpul advices on the area. She was very responsive whenever we had a problem. I can highly recommend Cristina's place and would are considering coming back in summer time.
