Holiday rentals in Amish

We had a group 10 for a bachelor party. At first we were a little worried about the idea of Paula staying at the same residence since we had such a large group, and weren’t sure we’d be able to play music etc. not only was Paula great at giving us privacy she mentioned that she had hosted DJs in the past and was comfortable with noise, she was extremely accommodating and even cooked us breakfast both days. Truly an amazing stay.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The home was very clean and well equipped. It was beautifully decorated and contained many special touches that made me feel right at home. I highly recommend!

We stayed a lovely few days in Kathleen’s house. The house was spotless (very clean), there were lots of fabulous touches that drew all the decor together, and many little instructions around the house to help us acclimate to the home and area quickly. There was plenty of seating throughout, and several complimentary items like snacks, soaps, etc. The house was also very QUIET. The perfect little getaway if you need to get some focus time or mediation time to yourself. There’s lots of shopping and restaurants within a short drive, and several DoorDash options available if you’re too comfortable to want to venture out. The neighborhood is very walkable. Safe and quiet. We enjoyed several walks with our dogs during our stay and saw many neighbors out doing the same. We hope to stay here again in the future. ❤️

Great location and our stay was perfect!

Enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for our group of 6. We each had our own bedroom and had plenty of room to play board games or watch TV. We were a little confused pulling up on where to park. Very close to Fairfield which has everything you would need. We chose the location due to proximity to Ottumwa and Cantril. Would be a lovely spot in the summer to stay.

Great house. I stayed in the attic with the death stairs which I actually enjoyed. Would stay there again if available!

We were so comfortable in Olivia's space. There were so many books to look at. She thoughtfully had snacks and a few eggs, making our morning so pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was nice and quiet, just what I was looking for. I enjoyed my stay at Taylor’s place and would 100% recommend.

Walnut Creek Lodge is spectacular and Brett is a wonderful host. This is our group's second year at the Lodge and we will be back next fall! My group loves Walnut Creek, this property is a true American gem in the middle of Iowa!
