This was an amazing stay! We really enjoyed our time at this location. The suite had a great modern cottage vibe. It’s cozy and comfortable. Although there was no range, they provided and hot plate and air fryer for convenience! That was great for us as we were there for a longer stay, we could prepare meals at home instead. The location was close to bus routes and sunny side mall. Also easy access to Dartmouth road or Bedford hiway! We thank Amit and his family for their wonderful hospitality!

Quiet, clean, great location, very comfortable and well equipped. I have stayed multiple times. This is my favourite place to stay when I am in town. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Everything here is great - I will be back.

It was great, the location is convenient, very nice view, quiet at night. The place is good for a couple or family with kids, as the bathroom and small bedroom aren’t private. There is a lot of kitchenware.

Chef Garrin’s and Patty’s place was a perfect home away from home and a great place to explore the Halifax and Dartmouth areas. Our space was beautifully furnished, spotless, and perfectly suited for all of our needs. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evening, watching the lights across the water, under the lovely Sherpa blankets they supplied. Can’t recommend it enough to others!

My mom had a wonderful stay at Kim's while visiting over the Easter weekend. The separate entrance and deck area provided a sense of privacy while still being part of a welcoming environment. The location on the lake was beautiful and relaxing. Access to the suite was straightforward with a code for the front door, and the owner was available if needed. Overall, this Airbnb provided a wonderful blend of relaxation, being close to everything, and a beautiful view. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed our weekend away with two beautiful sunrises over the lake.

Tony is the goat. He gave an awesome in person tour and helped us get the run down of everything, including how to work the hot tub and shower. There was no confusion of how private everything was and the inside felt so homey. There were many complementary items like bottled water, coffee etc. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be coming back!

Great place to stay for a few nights. Beautiful walks nearby, well-equipped kitchen, quiet but still not far from the airport. And the best: very nice and helpful hosts!

This is the second time we've stayed at Lori and David's. It's a perfect little Halifax getaway. Great decor, private, well appointed. We hope to return the next time we're in Halifax.

The suite was open concept and beautiful inside. The boat dock on the lake was a wonderful place to sit in the morning with coffee. The bathroom was very nice. I would have liked a non slip rubber mat in the tub and grab bar on the side as the tub was a high sided tub. Over all we made out fine but my wife had to be very careful getting in and out of the shower as she has balance issues and walk with a cane. The master bedroom king bed was extremely comfortable. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds the were very firm but ok Galen was very pleasant to visit with and came twice to check on us. Much appreciated the attention. The nearest store(Sobeys) is about 5km away. The end culdasac and area is very quiet

My husband and I had a wonderful time! The place was super nice with a beautiful view on their garden and water front. Jim and Sheila are so kind and lovely. Very resourceful and respectful of privacy. We highly recommend to stay at their Airbnb. Everything was just perfect. Thanks Jim and Sheila!

Great little place right downtown Halifax and within walking distance to everything! We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for a couples night, and then a night with our toddler. This place is so versatile with its unlimited flexibility for different functions. A quiet retreat, a family getaway, bachelorette etc. The hideaway doors to close off the hot tub space from the entertaining space made it safe for our 2 year old, the steam shower was a great touch and the historical elements made such a cozy and interesting environment. The host was quick responding to any questions we had, and you’d never know anyone existed upstairs as it was so quiet. Wonderful place to stay, will book again in the future for sure! Never stayed in a place quite like it!

Shilpa Was a good host . Breakfast cereal milk bread butter lots of coffee. Big screen TV .comfortable sofa . King bed comfortable. Bathroom had shampoo cream rinse.body wash. Clean towels. There is a pool and hot tub outside your door .Awesome place thanks
