Boat holiday rentals in Belgium

Loved Maarten’s boat. Was a great base for exploring Ghent and a 10-15 minute walk from lots of restaurants and the old town. Very close to T4 tram stop. We loved the cosy boat and walking the gangplank each day. Breakfast in a hamper at the door when we woke up! Maarten is an excellent host and very quick to respond.

We stayed here in early November and had a brilliant time. Jan and Jerome were super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. They gave us local recommendations and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a stay in Antwerp that's a bit different to your usual Air BandB we would 100% recommend staying on Jan's boat!

A very friendly experience. The host was very welcoming and was able to advise us on nearby activities / restaurants. The possibility of doing activities thanks to the equipment offered on site was also appreciated. The setting is peaceful, friendly and well located. A great experience that I would highly recommend!

We spent three nights at four in the cabin of the captain of the houseboat Lucie. This is an experience! A cocoon where it's good to get warm after visiting the Christmas markets of Ghent and Bruges (quickly served by the highway). We enjoyed making breakfast and dinner as the kitchen is very well equipped. The rooms are narrow but that's normal, we're on a boat! In the morning the view of the canal is very pleasant with the sunrise over the water and the frozen grass! The bedding is very comfortable and the shower room functional. We all enjoyed this experience, especially since the hosts are very welcoming and present on the boat. We recommend this accommodation to people who love the unusual with comfort!

We had a wonderful stay on Laurent's houseboat! Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and got everything shown and explained. The boat itself is super special place to stay – cozy, clean and equipped with everything you need. A real highlight was the rooftop A unique experience that we can recommend to everyone!

We have just spent an amazing 5 days on the Aloha. She is a beautiful boat with a beautiful history. What an experience to be on such a historic vessel and it was lovely to read about her return to Liege in the newspaper reports displayed in the kitchen. We loved the quirkiness of the vessel, the way she creaked and gently rocked when other boats passed by, we found it very soothly and not at all sickly (which was a worry). We also loved the original features dotted around the boat, the ship's wheel and navigation instruments. The decor was very tasteful and modern but respectful of the age of the boat. The accommodation itself was excellent, the beds were clean and comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked and the bathrooms immaculate. The showers were great and a bath was a little luxury that you wouldn't normally expect on a boat! The Aloha is not a typical Air BnB experience, but definitely one worth doing in your lives. We had an absolutely fantastic time and would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay on Erwin's sailboat which was very kind. We enjoyed being able to leave the premises at our ease as there were no other guests right after us. The bathrooms very close to the captaincy are very clean and comfortable. We will definitely come back with the hope of being able to take a little trip to the sea. A very nice discovery, the houseboat is located close to the center, all done on foot and we can park in front. The view is impressive and the host is super responsive. Thank you so much.
