Holiday home rentals in Black Forest

Lovely quite place in a beautiful small village. Good place to unwind. Bärbel is a great host.

The flat was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the river, there were many walks to choose from which went directly from the house. There is tourist information in the next village along which can be walked to as its about 3km away. It was not made clear that there is only one bedroom, this is large and has lots of storage so is a nice room, the second bed is actually is a fold away one in the lounge area. This was not a problem for myself and my friend but just something to be aware of if you were wanting more privacy. The flat is self contained but it is within the house itself, there are a number of other flats within the building, if you are expecting it to be separate its not. There was occasionally a small amount of noise from the private part of the house where the host lives but this was not intrusive, just the children playing. Be aware that you will need to pay tourist tax at the end of your stay, its about one euro per person per day.

Great peaceful place and breathtaking landscapes for short walks. Short driving commute to Munich and Lake Constance. Incredible place for New Years stay. Host was really helpful and our well trained dog was welcome. Will definitely go back

Very welcoming host, extremely clean accommodation, very pleasant, very well equipped for the whole family even baby! It's very cosy. It is very well located, close to the city center and the lake. We had a very good night there. Thank you very much!

Martin met us at the house- we had texted to agree on the arrival time. He gave us a tour of the apartment and the farm. There's a self service farm store where we got fresh veggies and eggs each day which were wonderful! We were allowed to take a small pitcher of fresh milk from the dairy cow tank daily too which we used for cooked things like oatmeal and hot chocolate- wonderful. Great quiet spot on an organic vegetable/dairy farm. Apartment is up 2 flights of stairs, roomy. Great big windows. We are a family of 4 but it could easily sleep 6. 2 huge beds (similar in size to King in USA) and 1 single bed but they can add more singles. We did a lot of our own cooking and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Martin was friendly and helpful and also told us about hiking trails that start right from the farm which we walked and were through some lovely forest. Great location only 15 min from Uberlingen. In the other direction is Stockach which has a great freibad (outdoor pool) that was less than 2 Euros entrance per kid. Several times we dropped out kids off here to swim while we went for a walk (hiking trail from pool too). Uberlingen is beautiful with lots of fun shops, great promenade for walking, biking trail leads all the way around the Bodensee Lake. We rented bikes a few days and biked to nearby Meersburg and the open air stone age village. I recommend both. Also fun to take the ferry for a day trip to Konstanz and other areas.

Beautiful place, beautiful town, beautiful surroundings! We had an amazing time there.

We loved our little corner in the forest and the house has everything you need. Werner was lovely and we appreciated the little touches of a welcome coffee and prosecco. Our only tiny bit of feedback was that the internet was sometimes very fast and sometimes not. I was so working online in large documents and on video calls and occasionally struggled. The internet was more than good enough if you are not working!

Very friendly, proactive host. Appartement is well equipped and maintained. Comfortable garage parking in the building. Supermarket around the corner and public transport nearby.

First of all, thank you for the in-person welcome, it's rare and very pleasant. The accommodation is large with a large balcony and above all everything was very clean and the bedding of very good quality. I still wanted to apologize for the condition of the bed linen!!!! In short, I recommend it, you can go there with your eyes closed.

The semi-detached house is very stylish and nicely decorated. We had a great stay. Check in was seamless with a lockbox, as was check out. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for self-catering.

Peter was very nice and welcomed us and gave us very good recommendations. It was flexible on arrival as our flight was delayed. Good accommodation option to see Strasbourg and surroundings.

We had a great time at the Alex's place. The view from the place was amazing. It was well connected through public transport. Most importantly, Alex was amazing. He took time out to help us with anything we needed and gave some brilliant recommendations. We felt at home here and he played a big part in that. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Impeccable, quiet and very functional accommodation, and caring hosts. Perfect for enjoying Europe Park right next door, as well as the rest of the Black Forest for a change of scenery at most 1 hour drive! We enjoyed our short stay very much.

Ideal place for a (long) weekend in the Palatinate wine region. Quietly located and yet you can get everywhere quickly by car. Also good with children - especially recommended are the Alla-Hopp playgrounds, especially in Edenkoben

Just a dream... a beautiful home in a wonderful environment Anja and Christian have created here, equipped with everything you need and in which we immediately felt comfortable. Even if the weather does not play along and you have already tasted the view and tranquility from the balcony comfortably, you can do a lot around it. Highly recommended is the Revitalbad in Menzenschwand (only 5 minutes walk). We are already planning our next visit ;)

Also on the second visit everything worked out. Communication with Armin was impeccable and everything was as indicated. That's the way it should be. We will be happy to come back and recommend a stay without restrictions. Thank you!

The house is a real jewel. It's beautiful, very clean, and equipped with absolutely everything you need to feel at home. Aurélie and her husband are very kind, very responsive, and the communication is very pleasant and fluid. Our dogs were sincerely welcome and that's a real joy. We had beautiful walks every day. The landscapes are sublime. This is a dream rental! We will be back!

We had a great time at Stéphane's place: it's more beautiful than in the photos and when you enter you immediately smell the clean scent that I love! Stéphane was very attentive to us and also left us sparkling wine to celebrate the new year. The location is also strategic for getting to all the fairytale villages and castles in the surrounding area. Colmar can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Highly recommended

Great stay at Christian's, we went to the area for the Christmas markets, the accommodation is in a great location, in the middle of all the markets Great hosting, accommodation that I recommend.

Very nice holiday home. Beautiful and quiet location. Small house, but actually with all the necessary amenities. In the spacious surroundings of Schönwald, there is always something to do. We felt very good there and the hosts are very friendly people.

Paul is a very friendly host and his apartment is exactly as described. Great place for family and friends we will definitely come back!

The apartment is nicely decorated and cozy. We found the beds very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook something yourself. In the garden there are nice seating, swings for children and a meadow to romp and play ball or relax in the sun lounger. Sylvie is very friendly and always helpful. Both bedrooms are located in the attic. During our stay it was very warm. With the windows open we were able to sleep well. The first night I heard the church tower clock, but from the second night I had gotten used to it. With the window closed, you can't hear anything.
