Wonderful place to stay if you like peace, quiet, and nature. Amy always checked if I needed anything. Her dog is a bonus if you like dogs. Very sweet boy.

The owners’ care for providing an exceptional guest experience is evident in every aspect of the property. We eagerly anticipate future visits and highly recommend this rental to others seeking a memorable stay.

Peoria was halfway for our friends with you families and I to meet up. This house was a wonderful gathering space on a quiet road. It provided a great amount of space for play, visiting, cooking, and eating. Bonus, it has so many extra closets and cupboard spaces that it made the best house ever for a game of hide and seek!

Lovely old brick home in a quiet neighborhood next to a garden that I bet is beautiful in the spring and summer. We were a little too early in the season to see any flowers and plants but you can tell it will be very nice in the warmer months. The home itself was very clean! It is an older home with lots of character and very comfortable. We slept very well. The main bathroom was large and clean and there was plenty of clean towels (that are very plush) and toilet paper. Bring your own soap and shampoo. If ever I have a need to stay overnight in Bloomington-Normal I will stay here. It was ideal!

Great place in convenience location. So appreciate of the fenced yard and ability to bring our (old) doggies!

Really cool older home that’s been updated and well maintained. Lots of character. Very clean. Would definitely recommend. Plenty of space with two bedrooms, a nice sized kitchen, a large dining room, and a comfortable living room. Close to several restaurants.

I don’t think I’ve slept in a more comfy bed then here. The place was nice and cozy, new appliances and felt just like home and was incredibly clean. The host was kind and easy to work work, I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home, semi-rural setting but only 10 minutes from downtown. Perfect for our family of five. There is a paved bike path to town just about two blocks away.

This place is a super nice and has cool features. Updates in the right places that make it very comfy and felt right at home. I highly recommend if you’re in the area. Very clear instructions and responsive host. We will surely stay again next year.

This property was ideal for two couples who were in town to visit family in a nearby town. We didn't stay long, but we were greeted by clear instructions from a communicative host. The coffee station was very nice and the kitchen was fully appointed (even though we didn't use it). The living and dining areas had ample room to hang out and the two bedrooms met our needs. Thoughtful seasonal decorations were appreciated! Special touches included a first aid kit in the bathroom, for those unexpected emergencies! Be aware, this property requires navigating a narrower exterior doorway and a couple steps into the home, if that is something you need to know. Great stay!

Debra was a terrific hostess, providing wonderful communication and also was very willing from the time of booking to accommodate a little earlier check-in time, and even a little earlier if there ended up being no guests the prior day. This was a huge help to us since we had an infant who really needed a nap before an evening family wedding. The beds, living room chairs and sofas were comfortable, and everything was very clean! We did not get a chance to use the hot tub but it looked newer & very clean. There was also ample parking for our 4 vehicles and two access points ensured we never had to shuffle cars around to let one car out. We would love to return for another stay when we visit family in Pekin! We have 3 married children and a grandchild so the 4+ bedrooms were perfect It’s great when we can all stay together!
