Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Bocas del Toro District

Easily the nicest, kindest, most gracious hosts I've had on AirBnB, also the first bed and breakfast I've stayed at on the app. Fantastic breakfast and a great time all around. Also walkable to Bocas town easily

this was our first time to Panama and the first time staying at a B&b. Angie was helpful from the first time we got there to we left. She and her husband outdid themselves on the breakfast. They always communicated on a daily basis if we needed them and always giving suggestions. I cannot say enough about our stay at there place . we would definite advise people to stay there and if we come back we would stay there . If you are looking for a quiet area where you can enjoy nature and the beach is your place. The hotel had all the facilities you could need, the food is rich and Nahuel made great cocktails. To get there, you have all the facilities, by public transport or by taxi, with a taxi that makes it easy for you to number.

The Firefly was an amazing relaxing getaway. Tucked into a lush seaside spot. It seemed very private and quiet but really just steps from quaint Old Bank. Staff were attentive and fun but never invasive We had great breakfasts and looked forward to trying everything on their dinner menu, The creative and fresh options were a highlight

Firefly is a really cute place to stay on Bastimentos island! If not for the rooms, be sure to try at least the food: it was nothing short of amazing! And breakfast is included too, and those didn't disappoint! We were greatly welcomed with drinks and recommendations as well. The room is typical of Bocas: water from rainwater, no A/C but fans (the room is near the ocean so there's fresh air, works pretty well), basic bathroom. Nothing fancy but it's functional and part of the island's charm. The only downside we found was that although it's facing the ocean (beautiful view and sunsets!), there isn't a beach nor places to really swim (water is accessible but it isn't easy). For a sand beach you'll have to walk to town and do a short hike (about 30mn total from Firefly). We recommend the place for sure !

The property is built to high quality and has a great view of the sea as well as Bird Island. The sun loungers and chairs on the terrace invite you to relax. The room was clean and had plenty of storage space. The fan in the room ensured pleasant air circulation at night. The property's restaurant deserves special mention. The food was of the highest quality and the cocktails of the bar were delicious! The friendly and helpful team was always on hand. Their warm hospitality contributed significantly to the fact that I felt very comfortable here. The Wi-Fi availability was sufficient, but the transmission capacity due to the Starlink connection was sometimes greatly limited. Overall, my stay at this place was outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for a place to escape it all while enjoying nature, then this is the place for you!

We spent only two nights in La Luciérnaga, but we would have wanted it to be many more. One of the best places I've stayed in-clean, beautiful, comfortable, and with warm and attentive hosts to the well-being of their guests. Carlo and his family are attentive and polite, excellent people. The room is just as you can see in the photos, the bathroom has a nice shower and with a refreshing and invigorating flow. The bed is super comfortable and sleeps lulled by the sounds of nature. Kitchen area is complete and comfortable and the terrace space with hammocks is relaxing. The wifi is great. Although it is about 4 km away from the center of Bocas, it is easy to get around by taxi or walk a little to take the public minibus. It is halfway to Playa Bluff and La Piscina and close to where you can take the mic to go to Playa de Las Estrellas. And the cherry on the cake: breakfast. Just delicious. Homemade food with details from Italy. Highly recommended! <3

I had a great stay at La Luciernaga. Carlo and his wife are amazing, they welcome you and give you all recommendations to enjoy your stay. The breakfast is just EXCELLENT!!! Fresh fruits, eggs and the surprise du chef … you can have a chat with Tabi the female cat of the house in the dining area. The place is quiet, a little far from the centre and you can hear birds in the early morning. Room is clean, with private bathroom and they even provide beach towels. I used taxi to go from and to other places, it’s usually 3USD for the city centre. Carlo will give you some taxi numbers in case you need them. I strongly recommend La Luciernaga for your stay at Bocas del toro.

We had a very nice stay. At all times Carlo was very nice and made us feel very comfortable. The place is very quiet and you are steps from the seawall, ideal for a walk and see the sea. As for the cleanliness, it seemed spotless. Thank you!!

Wonderful 4 day stay at Sally and Mike's. If the house and surroundings are beyond gorgeous, the attentiveness and warmth of the hosts are top notch. Felt at home right away. Hosts are very proactive and will share their recommendations for a perfect stay, from day excursions to taxis, beaches, or restaurants with daily specials. Very comfortable room, extremely clean, quiet and private. Great attention to detail. Delicious breakfasts and wonderful atmosphere with the other guests. Very clean water in the bay allowed for morning or afternoon swims, kayaking or simply floating away on water beds right from the deck. Transportation to Bocas town or other beaches on the island is quick and cheap (3 min walk to main road, $1-$2 per person to town by public bus or taxi). Water taxis are also an option and will bring you back straight to the house dock after dinner at local restaurants. What else can you need for a perfect relaxing vacation? Highly recommended. We will be back. Thank you!

We spent 6 nights in this wonderful B&B. The hosts Sally and Mike are very available and gave us tips during our stay. We enjoyed the comfort of the room and the delicious breakfasts every morning, with a great view of the Bay of Saigon. We were also able to enjoy the kayak available. To get to the center of Isla Colon you have to take a taxi that costs $1 per person, where you can reach the many restaurants. Thanks again Sally and Mike for your hospitality.

This was a magical stay! We stayed in the king jungle suite and loved our entire stay. The unit had lots of small touches we appreciated. Stocked tea and coffee, nice amenities in the bathroom. The hosts were super helpful with recommendations on the area and have put together a great welcome package packed with tons of information. The surroundings are beautiful and we were very lucky to see a sloth and baby up close in the garden. Across the street is skullys. They have a bar, pool, beach and e-bike rentals. If you go for a drink you can use their pool. The included breakfasts were appreciated. We didn’t get a chance to visit all of the spots due to tour timing but if you can get to Tesoro, do it! You’ll need to cab or bike to it as it’s not walkable but it’s a beautiful spot high up with a stunning view and a Toucan that visits regularly. We also saw a sloth here. Loved this stay!

The place was nice & clean as advertised. Everything was very good. Definetly recommendable
