Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bocas del Toro District

This house in Bocas Del Toro was great! I would definitely recommend. The house is only about 10 mins from downtown. We had a car during our visit, but took the taxi a few times. The taxis were only about $3 to get downtown. The pictures match the house perfectly. The kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms are nice and clean, and bathrooms have all the amenities you could need. There are air conditioners in two out of the three bedrooms in the house. It was a bit humid during our stay, but having the a/c more than made up for it. The welcome gift was a great touch and very much appreciated. Our host communicated well and was always fast to respond to all my questions. Overall, I'd say this house was definitely worth staying and would recommend to anyone staying in Bocas Del Toro.

We loved staying at Sunanda’s and Vincent’s Airbnb! Sunanda met us at our boat into Bocas and her warmth immediately made us feel at ease. The house itself is stunning, a lovely space to spend time in. It’s open to the outside, so takes a little getting used to, and visitors need to be prepared for the mosquitoes (nets around beds helped but additional measures also needed) and occasional other creatures! We did a couple of excursions through Al Natural (the resort that the Airbnb is connected to) which were well organised, and we saw lots of wildlife (sloths, red frogs, cayman, monkeys and more). We ate at the resort one evening and also enjoyed excellent cocktails most nights at sunset! Sunanda cooks Indian food and we ordered some one evening which was delivered by boat that day and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this Airbnb for a unique and special stay.

Fantastic place, the sea is your backyard. Monkeys, tracking, squirrels, and surfers on the waves passing by. Great house, minimalist but very nice with various hangouts. Keep in mind that it can be warm in the house and that insects can easily enter....but there is something great about that.

We stayed at this wonderful house on a guys trip with 8 of us. Plenty of room and very comfortable. The house manager made us breakfast every morning and cleaned up the kitchen. Her crew also made a fire on the beach every night. We felt very spoiled, and relaxed!

This Airbnb exceeded all expectations! WHAT A VIEW! Dan and Lily have created a beautiful little cabin with thoughtful details such as a raised bed that we later realized was designed to give us the best possible view while lying down. Brilliant! The uninterrupted natural breeze made it feel even more relaxing. In fact, once we arrived, we never wanted to leave. We canceled all our plans just to soak in the beauty of this room and to spend time with each other. We had everything we needed: fast wifi, hot water, a well-equipped shared kitchen with sustainable practices, and, surprisingly, no insects! A huge thank you to Dan and especially Lily— she was such a sweet host!! If you’re looking for a tranquil escape, this is the place.

Excellent accommodation, close to playa star by far the best beach on the island. Philippe an excellent host, very friendly and helpful.

Amazing place, just nature around. There is almost no cellular connection there, if you have a claro sim card then you are not going to have any internet. I would not rely on the wifi

This place was amazing, best Airbnb we’ve stayed in 10 meters away from the beach, hosts were always responsive and very helpful it is paradise.

Jungle Paunch Cabins was EXACTLy what I was looking for . Nestled in the jungle . Short walk down to road to hail cabs . Beautiful ocean on the road . Couple of walkable restaurants . Monkeys in the trees . Jungle sounds at night . Best sleep ever . Coming home at night magical and safe . Jane is beyond personable . Max welcoming and friendly with a fabulous smile . Great well seasoned widely traveled couple who built their dream . So happy they share it with us visitors .

It feels like a treehouse in the jungle with the sounds of the wildlife and ocean waves in the background. Gloria’s house is not only beautiful but a very peaceful place to stay, incredibly relaxing. There is a bar on the beach and a few restaurants nearby, definitely recommend The Hummingbird for food. There are also two good swimming spots that you can get to after a walk through the jungle and along the beach; La Piscina and the Blue Lagoon. Maybe take a picnic and make an afternoon of it? The house is about 20 minutes from town so it’s a good idea to get some supplies when you first arrive before heading there. Gloria was a great host and Will, the chap who takes care of the house, was also great and they both speak Spanish and English. You’ll be in good hands here. Best of all, how wonderful to wake up in the morning and discover that you are having breakfast with monkeys, eating bananas from a tree right next to you. This is a special place that I shall not forget.

Hidden gem!! With waterfalls!!! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning Casita, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! The property is a true oasis, featuring the most gorgeous waterfalls that create a serene ambiance. You can tell that so much hard work and dedication has gone into the landscaping; every detail is thoughtfully curated. The trails winding through the property are perfect for leisurely strolls, and each turn reveals something new and Tessa and Jeremys knowledge of the local flora and fauna is impressive, and she took the time to share insights about the various plants and flowers we encountered. It made our walks even more enriching. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature's beauty, this Casita is the place to be. I can't recommend it highly enough—it's truly a magical spot! Our kids didn’t want to leave!
