Carla (our host) was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and made our stay very special. We had a small group for my daughter’s birthday. 2 extra guests decided to come at the last minute. Krista the owner was very accommodating. The house was so cozy and clean with plenty of room for all of us. The property is spectacular- absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking for a getaway- do yourself a favor and stay here.

The photos don't do the mansion justice. It is so much better than we ever imagined. Adam was responsive, from the very moment we booked (nearly a year in advance) to the day we left. The house was beautiful and had ever amenity possible. There were 12 women for a week and we all had lots of space, both to get together and also for some much needed "alone time". I can't say enough about our experience. I would give this place the highest possible recommendation.

This was an amazing experience. I started communicating with John 13 months before my sons wedding to stay there plus host a large rehearsal dinner. ( it grew to 80 people!). John allowed - welcomed me- to come see the property to check out the layout for what I needed giving my caterer information and planning for our stay. I needed to move furniture and a few other things and when I asked John if it was ok, his reply was, “it’s your house”, and I truly felt that way. It was comfortable and allowed for my family to stay and as we had a few revolving guests, John provided extra linens. The rehearsal dinner was on a hot August night and I had told folks to bring a bathing suit. Several of the bridal party and friends jumped in! The animals were fun and when a few of the kitties jumped in the car when we were leaving we were tempted to steal them! Our caterer for that dinner and a farewell brunch lived the set up of this place as well. I honestly cannot recommend it enough! Thanks John!

with the exception of a pool, you have everything you need at the location from jacuzzi, basketball hoop, cornhole boards, firepit bbq grill, smoker, pool table, fussball table, lots of space indoor/outdoor not to run into each other etc.

Great place to stay for a UGA home game. Big front lawn, fire pit, jacuzzi, comfortable interior, and walking distance from the stadium.

Really fit what we needed. Hosts introduced themselves on arrival and even graciously offered to mail a couple articles of clothing back to me I'd forgotten in a closet. For future guests, since it is in the back of the main house, can take a second to confirm you're at the right address. The place is simple (for example, no oven or stove but does have a hot plate/griddle) as listed. It is only 20-30 minutes to walk to lots of various shops and restaurants so while the house itself is in a neighborhood, close enough to walk to things and don't have to get in a car. As long as you're not heading south, which hits the main road pretty quickly, they are all pretty nice walks to places.

This Airbnb was amazing! The host went above and beyond, making the stay truly memorable. The space was spotless, private, and beautifully decorated for the holidays, creating a cozy and festive atmosphere. Very comfy cottage in a beautiful neighborhood! Kelly was very responsive and helpful. Great instructions in the cottage on how to use everything. Well stocked and had free snacks and coffee in the kitchen!

We had a great time staying at Andy’s Airbnb. He responded quickly to any message and the place was exactly as described. It is a great location and was very easy for us to find our way around. Thank you Andy. If I ever need a reason to stay in Athens again, I will reach out to you first.

We travel to Atlanta frequently for the food and shopping. When we do, we always try to rent Doo’s place first. We love staying here and Doo is such a wonderful host that always goes above and beyond. We feel like Doo is family and we are going to a relative’s house. You will love staying here. It is so clean, peaceful, and cozy.

Megan's place is fantastic. Very spacious. Convenient location about a 10 minute walk to downtown (ask her for the shortcut so you don't have to take the long way). Neighborhood felt safe. WiFi was good, I was able to work at the house as well as stream movies. Every bedroom has a tv which is a nice addition. Plenty of activities for kids. My little nephew visited for a day and he loved the toys and cornhole setup. Only con I can think of is you have to take out the trash on trash day, run the dish washer before you leave and put all of the dirty towels into the washing machine before you leave. Which I admit is simple enough, but kind of crazy we pay $135 cleaning fee and still have to do that. I know this is pretty common on Airbnb but still not a fan of such things. Overall I recommend this place

This is a wonderful property!!! Close to great restaurants and coffee. Very walkable. Beautiful and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

This place was lovely! Great option for one or two people to get away. It is a half mile from all the shops and restaurants of Kirkwood and a half mile from the East Lake MARTA station. I would definitely stay here again. The duplex is cozy with all the amenities. One thing really stood out to me. ART! There is beautiful art throughout the house. The owner stays here on occasion. It's not just a rental. It is a home and a welcome place to stay. Highly recommend if you are coming to Atlanta.

We had an amazing stay! House is beautiful and so cozy. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We especially loved the porch area with the fireplace and tv. Amazing outdoor retreat. All of the beds were super comfortable. And located in the best area in Athens. Gorgeous neighborhood! Thanks for everything!

David's basement was as described and is in a private quiet area. Plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. David's girlfriend, Sandi, was extremely accommodating and would check in on me periodically to ask what would make my stay better. The hosts are very communicative and I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean and peaceful home away from home.

We did an extended stay. The place is fantastic! Exactly as described, plenty of space and all the amenities you need to feel at home. Super comfortable beds and the patio overlooking the pool was a great spot for outdoor meals. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a longer stay!

Only minutes away from Athens via scenic country roads. Easy access. Presumably the pool house of the host but felt private and actually never saw anyone else. Was a fall visit so didn’t use the pool though pool area looked fun.

Ms. Carla was a great host she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her apartment is exactly as described it was so beautiful. The kids loved the movie theatre. We had to stay here as our home was under construction and it was our home away from home. She was an amazing host and I would come back. I can not express enough how thankful I am for Ms. Carla.
