Cabin holiday rentals in Cairn Beck

We stayed in the Sung for a 2 night girls weekend away.. for a special birthday. Before we arrived, Sara was easy to contact, and allowed us to check in early to extend our celebrations. As we arrived, our Asda delivery was awaiting our arrival, which makes things much easier. The Sung was immaculate. The pictures don’t do it justice. The beds are incredibly comfy!! And the couch!! Sara pays so much attention to detail, and even made us a hamper to enjoy. There was Prosecco in the fridge, birthday cakes, and more - thank you!! We spent most of our time in the tub (which is maintained every day, and amazing at night when the stars are shining), and having one too many Proseccos, but there’s lots of walking to do. We ventured out to one of the local pubs which was delicious too. We forgot a bag when we left, and Sara called us and help arrange for us to come back and collect. We’ll definitely be back!! Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful spot. Alan was a great host very friendly quick to text back and even after we messed up our booking he kindly allowed us to stay another night. Fab location for walking and climbing. Pet friendly and exactly what we hoped it would be. Can’t wait to come back!! Five stars *****

We had a fabulous family holiday here. The accommodation was perfect for a trip with small children and very dog friendly. Fabulous location with so many adventures on the doorstep.

Lovely place to stay. The hosts were really helpful and were there if we needed anything. The lodge was beautiful and looked exactly like the cabin and the hosts heated up the hot tub for when we got there. Really recommend.

The lodge was absolutely stunning and exactly what we wanted. Upon arrival all the essentials were provided like bread, milk and a delicious cake along. The lodge was very clean and all towels were provided, including the towels for the hot tub. The views from the lodge looking out from the bedrooms and hot tub were stunning and certainly helped us all to relax. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need - nothing was missing. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week - I couldn’t recommend it enough if you want peace and quiet and stunning views.

Beautiful place, Ben was really helpful and the lodge was extremely clean. Hot tub and sauna were amazing and easy check in and out. Really comfortable beds and peaceful surroundings. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

A beautiful caravan perfect for a family break. We stayed 3 nights over the February half-term with 2 children and our dog. The hot tub was a hit with us all and we felt relaxed and comfortable. We loved that it had 2 bathrooms, so there was plenty of space for us all to get showered and changed, including a walk-in wardrobe in the main bedroom. The caravan park was quiet and ideal with a park for the girls to play. The Host, Jennifer, was friendly and responsive to any questions we had while we were there. Thank you so much.

Lovely place for a relaxing break very clean and spacious

Great place to stay, has everything you need was clean & tidy, lovely sitting outside in the evenings with the fire pit, 5mins from Amberside town witch has everything you need, lovely walks round the area, would recommend highly.

We had a great weekend in the Eco Pod. It had everything you could need. The breakfast pack was fab and just what we needed for our Sat breakfast. Place was clean and comfortable and it was really nice to have a couple of days with kids off screens. Catherine was super helpful and friendly and she had the hot tub all set up for our arrival, much to the delight of our kids. The little shop shed was a big hit with the kids and actually a helpful little thing to have so close. We will be back x

We stayed here Monday to Friday , beautiful lodge as in photos very clean And comfortable , as soon as we entered the lodge we felt so at home , everything there you needed ,, Clean towels at the bottom of our bed , Jennifer was there when I txt her about any info that we needed about the area , the lodge in in a beautiful place. , I would recommend 100% . we loved it so much we are going back for a long weekend , thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful lodge.

We had a great stay here. This caravan has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything is great quality and the sofas are super comfortable + it’s only a 10 minute walk to Cockermouth which has loads of restaurants, shops and pubs to choose from. The caravan is cosy, perhaps best for a couple due to the size however we enjoyed our stay immensely!

Lovely clean caravan In beautiful peaceful surroundings. The caravan park itself only had around 5 caravans so nice and quiet, the donkeys were a welcome sight too! First ever Airbnb for all of us which went very smoothly so big thank you to Rachel for her advice (and the park warden who found my wallet and arranged to post it out for me!) Stayed to walk scafell pike which went very well. Big things!

Incredible stay - my girlfriend and I stayed here for our birthday weekend away, couldn’t fault it at all, was in walking distance of Bowness, low wood spa just up the road, easily accessible, right on the lake for water activities, the place itself was warm, spotless, cosy, and had everything you could possibly need and more! Would definitely stay again!

This was the best place I’ve stayed in when visiting the Lake District. It was so peaceful and the cabin was immaculate. There’s lovely walks in the area and Windermere is a 15 minute drive away. I wouldn’t change anything about it and will definitely be returning!

The Herdie Hideaway was simply gorgeous! The location and surroundings are idyllic, the hut itself is spacious yet cosy, pristine, cute & had all you need for a trip away! Charlotte was at the end of the phone at all times and so helpful with local recommendations and updates on check in/weather etc. Will definitely be back and couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you 😍

Amazing place to stay, we took 3 of our dogs and our son. Hot tub, amazing children’s play area, trampoline, swings, seesaw, 20+ go carts with track, play obstacle course, climbing frame, slide, basketball hoops and football nets. The pictures on the advert are outdated and don’t show the go cart track. A brilliant field specifically for walking the dogs, not fully secure due to gaps under the gate but great for dogs who will ignore sheep. Lovely pod with everything we could have needed, hot tub lovely and warm, amazing views. Picnic bench and parking space. Lots of towels available, comfy bed and pillows. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco, eggs and biscuits. Very happy with our stay! We went to The bridge end inn for tea, 2 nights in a row!! The food was absolutely fantastic, well priced but quality fresh cooked food. Booking is a must as they were very busy.

The stay was incredible, especially with the snow. The cabin was so cosy and comfortable. The owner Kate was so understanding and friendly even when we lost (then found) the key. Would 100% recommend and go again.

We had a great time at the observatory regardless if we could see any stars or not, unfortunately we can’t control the weather! We loved it that much we stayed an extra night, this is the best place to relax and unwind, you have everything you need in the cabin and toilet and showers and kitchen are very close also. We would really recommend the Indian takeaway nearby in Allendale and also the kings head for food. Both were amazing and there’s a cafe just down from the cabin that do great breakfast. Overall lovely stay and we would love to return in the summer to catch the stars. Thank you Helen and Alan

Total ‘away from it all’ vibe! If you like this kind of thing, then this is perfect! It’s basic for sure, basically ideal! Very comfy beds for a great sleep, awesome log fire and relaxing space to chill. Note No cooker. This is 100% fine, as long as you don’t turn up with a load of veg to fry or Pizza for the oven. But good microwave. We brought food to heat up. Amazing surroundings, and 10 mins from Kendal! Would absolutely go there again!! Unique!

really nice stay, great little family friendly park in a good location for exploring. Cabin was exactly as expected. Host was very responsive, and even offered a late check out if we'd wanted it as they didn't need the keys back until later in the day, which was a nice touch.

Rob, I can’t thank you more mate the best experience I’ve had in a lifetime such a amazing place to stay, such a hidden gem the price needs to be doubled then doubled again for the value of this beauty. The customer service alone honestly rob could not be a nicer more welcoming host. Thanks so much rob, me and the lads hope to be seeing you again very shortly. :)
