Holiday rentals with a kayak in Calabarzon

The place is divine! We took a private water taxi and landed a few meters from Happy Moon Beach House. It’s located on the beach itself, and not in the noisy part of town. Linens were all new and hotel quality, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms were new and had good water pressure with good heater. The place was very clean too. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and wine glasses too. We asked to set up the grill and roasted hotdogs and marshmallows, and had a nice fancy dinner under the stars. We loved it! Movement around was easy with tricycles and tuktuks. We had a perfect stay for our group of 12. The place has all you need for a perfect friend and family bonding. Michael was great with our requests and Rose and Vangie were very helpful. Highly recommend! Best ever stay in Puerto Galera.

Frances is a great host, very responsive and helpful. The location of the house is amazing - right on the beach and quiet. We will definitely be back when the weather is better!

Sir. Ryan was really helpful and friendly never failed to tend to our needs specially Ka-Domeng the boat driver and caretaker welcomed us and gave us free fresh fish it was just a lucky day where they had a lot of fish! If you ever meet Ryan during your stay feel free to ask him questions he’s very informative & helpful! I believe he was a vivamax star back in the day!

I stayed here with my two daughters, and we absolutely loved it! The views were breathtaking, and the entire property was stunning. We especially enjoyed the crystal-clear pool with a waterfall—such a perfect place to relax. Our house was beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully curated. The staff was incredible, always attentive and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

The host was incredibly easy to communicate with, always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions I had.

Gabie was such a gracious host. He responded immediately to all our questions and accommodated all our requests from early check-in to bonfire requirements and even late check-out which made our stay super fun and memorable. We had a great stay, there are brownouts but the have generator on standby. Owner is very responsive too, thank you.

My family and I just wanted a short break from the hustle and bustle of Manila. A quick getaway from our daily grinds. We just wanted to be close to nature, have fresh air and lots of sun. Lyn’s place gave us all that. The “white house” provided us the comfort of modern living (presence of wifi, tv, microwave, airconditioning, shower, etc) in an unspoiled natural surroundings. Lyn was indeed a superhost. Communicating with her was so easy that it also made the whole stay relaxing with no fuss. The family renting Lyn’s yacht and sailing along the Laiya shoreline was an awesome bonding experience. The kids loved it so much as they jumped from the sailboat to do snorkling and kayaking. Our furbabies enjoyed sailing, too. This is one great place to bond and create memories with family.

My stay at this place was simply amazing. The tranquility and peace we experienced were unparalleled, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The serene environment was so enchanting that we couldn't resist extending our stay for an additional night. One of the highlights was definitely the mesmerizing sunset, which painted the sky in breathtaking colors, creating a magical and unforgettable experience. Overall, this place offered everything we needed for a peaceful and memorable retreat, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene escape.

The place is very homey! We instantly felt at home because of the serene atmosphere and the very chill lifestyle people had there. Ms. Angelica was extremely kind and helpful. She helped us with everything including the food! They cooked inihaw na liempo, manok and tilapia.. and it was sooo delicious! I booked last minute but everything went so smoothly. The only problem is the place we booked is too small. We should have opted for the Villas since it had its own private bathroom. The one we got was a Nippahut style and it was too difficult to move around inside. It was very cramped. Thankfully there was airconditioning which was very cold specially at night. The bed was comfortable but only few pillows were available. But I love the bunk bed style! It was very probinsya like which is cool. The bathroom we had was outside and it’s so small and a bit dirty. The beach was okay - the sand is just filled with stones and shells, so it’s hard to walk on. Overall it was a great experience!

thank you Maricar for your staff Manong Gerry, Karlo, and Nanay for their concern and hospitality at the place. we had our car lights still on on the first day at the parking and Mang Gerry notified Karlo right away so we were able to turn it off. commendable to have Karlo at the place for always assisting us to and from the boat. we had a senior on board and he was very accommodating to our grandparents. our only concern would be the bathroom, I hope it would have assistive bars to be senior friendly and also if there could be rubber mats as it gets slippery. the bathroom that we had in our cabin has no separation between the toilet and the shower so it gets wet. although Nanay has shown us a different cabin that has a divider. if we can request that cabin for our next stay, we'd like to house our grandparents and other senior relatives in there. great view to wake up on, and we enjoyed kayaking and bonfire. we will definitely comeback with family and friends.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was highly responsive, and clear instructions were provided for check-in. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. The place itself was peaceful, and we especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen—everything we needed was there, and if there’s anything you request , they quickly provided it. We will definitely be book this again ❤️

I quickly felt right at home. The staff were helpful and the Manager was close at hand to sort out any needs. My room, a studio, had everything I needed including a functional kitchenl that I used everyvday. My view from the balcony was across the strailt to Luzon. l went to sleep every night to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below my balcony.

Overall it was a great stay for our family. We got to relax and enjoy after our visit to Monte Maria, which is around 30mins away from the place. The kids enjoyed the pool. We liked how helpful the caretakers are, Ate Norie and Nanay Seria. They always help us whenever we need something, even setting up the bonfire and buying some stuff we need. Only one hiccup we experienced was with the water supply, it was gone for a few times but the caretakers managed to quickly fix it anyway. We liked it there and we’ll definitely come back. Thank you for making our stay very homey.

We had an amazing time at Comoriver Retreat! The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karren was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We especially loved the outdoor space by the river—it was so calming. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet and beautiful getaway in Laguna! We will definitely come back here! Found this hidden gem where you can see the Caliraya Lake view! Unwinding exclusively with my family at this exquisitely beautiful, magical and very peaceful place. My family were amazed but its view and very spacious cabin with its own clean restroom. One thing we were also amazed is by how their kitchen is fully equipped, and you just have to bring your own food to cook! Also tried kayaking where we were able to see the beauty of Caliraya Lake. Kudos to the caretakers for being so accommodating and helping us since we also have seniors. Just a reco, since we have senior citizens, we hope there’s a railing support by the pavilion staircase (but not a problem since it will only take about 4-5 stairs going up). It was raining the whole time we stayed here, encountered a bit problem by the road since its slippery but the caretakers and other guys didnt hesitate to assist us. Overall, we will definitely book here again! Thank you owners!
