Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Calacoto, Macrodistrito Sur

Our family of 4 (2 kids aged 8 and 10) stayed with Eneida and Bernardo for 7 nights, and could not have been happier with our choice. The house is wonderful, character home just outside the center of the neighbourhood of Sopocachi. Like most of La Paz, there are hills to be navigated, however we very much enjoyed walking to all destinations from the home. It is only about 20 minutes to the heart of the city. The house itself is very spacious, and seems like a rarity in terms of size. It is a shared space, however the owners go out of their way to ensure you have your privacy. They have an adorable dog named Blanca that checks in on you every day. We had more than enough space in the bedrooms to be comfortable, and their were plenty of warm blankets and space heaters to keep you warm during the chilly evenings. Absolutely the best part about the home is the hospitality of Eneida and Bernardo. From the moment we arrived they made us feel like part of their extended "family", providing fresh bread each morning and lots of recommendations on the surrounding area. We were lucky enough to be staying at the home while Bernardo's family was visiting, and were welcomed into their group without reservation. It was wonderful to sit by the fireplace and exchange stories during the evenings. We highly recommend staying with Eneida and Bernardo.

The house is beautiful and the views from the rooftop are amazing, a place to enjoy and relax. Andrea is very kind, he made it very easy for me to check in and check out and showed me places to visit and where to eat. Highly recommended!!

A lovely place away from central La Paz. Fabian and his mum are lovely hosts. The space is a good size for two people. There were a few issues that were resolved quickly. There are some lovely eateries within walking distance. The main shopping center is a 15 to 20 minute walk and about 10 Bolivianos by taxi or Uber. A vegetable and meat market is close by. We had a lovely three week stay.

The house is comfortable, clean, very well equipped and easily accessible. In addition to the good location it has a garden and a large garage at no extra cost that make it ideal. Vivian was very attentive. The hosts are seen to have thought of all the details like firewood, coffee for distilling, board games, and cooking utensils. We really enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home and look forward to coming back.

The maximum, the quiet place, the house is very nice, spacious, safe and well equipped, the service of José Carlos and Viviana is excellent. I recommend it 100%.

We had a lovely stay we Colibri Eco Lodge. The site is peaceful with fabulous views. The hut was basic but the photos were clear about this so there were no surprises. The shower had hot water and we were never cold at night. Breakfast was included and served by the friendly staff. We had planned on doing different day trips but ended up staying on site as it was so peaceful. We were there in October, so not a busy time. Unfortunately, we arrived Monday and left on Friday so not many places for dinner were open. However, Colibri serves dinner so we ate in three times and enjoyed it.

My in-laws stayed with Rene for 2 weeks and were very satisfied! He was even on site at night to help them check in - great service! When a door handle broke in the apartment, it was immediately repaired within a few hours. All in all a great host and a highly recommended apartment!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was a very welcome break in the chaos of La Paz, it felt like a home from home. The only issue was the door is slightly warped which affected the electronic lock at times, but hosts were responsive when this happened.

I had 2 very good nights in this accommodation. The hostess is very kind and attentive, she gave me some cookies and sweets! The accommodation itself is one of the best I have ever stayed, has a lot of infrastructure and has everything a person may need, in addition to being very private. It has a great SmarTV, all the basics like coffee sugar etc. The shower is hot! The internet is very good! Would recommend!

We felt super comfortable, the view was just overwhelming, everything was spotlessly clean. Only about 10 minutes walk away is the Café Retrato which offers super tasty coffee and cake. It is also about a 10-minute walk to the cable car (Teleferico Amarillo). We can definitely recommend the place!

Absolutely excellent stay! The place was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The host was super friendly and incredibly helpful and truly went above and beyond (waiting for me due to a longer bus journey than anticipated.) Great location, with tons of excellent restaurants and bars nearby. Highly recommend!

The depto is located in one of the most modern neighborhoods of peace. There is a cinema and two shoppings nearby and the sky cable car. All that makes it located in a strategic place to move around Por la Paz. And the view is very nice. The host is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great location! It’s on the 23rd floor with a beautiful view. Very secure with security guards and a key card required to enter and also to go up the elevators. The owner was kind and helpful.

Absolutely loved my stay here, Nicolas and his son are gentlemen of the highest order. I look forward to visiting their lovely place again in the future.

We were greeted by Nelson, very concerned and friendly, the apartment is very large and very comfortable, with beautiful views, close to cable car station and several areas of interest, happy to come back!
