We stayed a few nights and the inn was quaint and cozy. Perfectly located to restaurants and shops. Our host Jeanette was friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast was served in the cutest dining area and her homade coffee cake was delicious.

Room #3 Ocean Front Beach House Inn

Bill was super helpful under challenging circumstances. He confirmed the reservation really quickly, which was needed. And when i needed extra assistance, it was provided without hesitation. It is a beautiful location, right on the beach. And the price was really reasonable for what we needed. Altogether a great experience!

Room #1 Ocean Front Beach House Inn

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Although we only stayed for one night, it was my first time renting a room in a shared building. It was exactly what we were looking for in an amazing location. We didnt hear the other guests at all and the shared spaces were really great. The house has great character, the room had a great balcony looking out over the water and listening to the waves at night was really peaceful. Really glad we booked here.

Blue Dolphin Inn Guest room #5

This is a motel, which I knew ahead of time. The rooms were spacious, air condtitioned, had a fridge and microwave, and opened up to a large open yard. The motel is situated walking distance to a wonderful breakfast place. I wholly recommend this place.

I wouldn’t change a thing! If you want to take your children on a vacation that they’ll always remember and want to repeat with their own kids, look no further. You’ll feel at home in Bill’s beautiful Beach House. It’s your home away from home with the view you’ve always wanted! (Without any of the upkeep.) We had the peace, relaxation, and beauty, that we longed for. The Beach house has everything you need and Bill and Mark are great communicators. I definitely recommend it for couples like my husband and myself. In a few short days we experienced nightlife, nature, outdoor activities, excellent restaurants, and a simple home cooked meal to the sounds of the ocean. Priceless! We’ll always be grateful for Bill and his memory making home on the beach!

Poolside King in Boutique Nantucket Hotel

AshleyRating, 5 stars33 months ago
We had such an amazing time at the beach side on Nantucket! The staff were amazing the pool was a plus especially during the summers biggest heat wave (also they had beach toys pool toys and swimmies for the kids also great distance to both town and jetties and we even took the Wave Bus to Maddeket. The beds/ linens were extremely comfy I was nervous after reading a few of the reviews but honestly I don't know what some of those people were talking about. The A/C was some of the best cooling we've ever experienced on the island, there were plenty of shampoo condition body wash towels. The rooms were super clean and I loved the extra touch of the lemonade, ice tea and water in the lobby. The only thing I would add would be cookies or some type of snack during the day.. There was also a wood burning fireplace in the lobby at night which gave you such a cozy feel. The breakfast wasn't terrible they had plenty of drink options and muffins and bagels on the weekend, if they had some fruit/ Pastries/yogurt it would bring it to the next level. The staff was absolutely phenomenal everyone was so sweet and helpful and honestly just nice to talk to! Everyone always smiled at you. We stayed with our 2 dogs and toddler and the room was perfectly accommodating. The only downfall is check in is at 4:00 pm so next time I would just take the later ferry and they didn't have beach chairs or coolers which some of the hotels provide on the island, and the wood shades are nice but maybe some blackout curtains would be a nice bonus.....again these are just little things that would make the stay that much better even though it is already amazing. We would absolutely stay there again!!!!! Best value for your dollar on Nantucket if you ask me!

Briarwood Beach Motel

Excellent old fashion motel. It was quaint with a nice waterfront. Enjoyed the rustic beach for a quick dip. The TV was excellent. Derek, allowed me to check in early and addressed any issues I had. I had a great stay. I would recommend this especially if you’re traveling solo.

Super cute and cozy spot near Porter and Harvard Squares. Nice common area, too. We had a very smooth stay here and loved the unique touches in the room -- you really feel like you're at an inn, not a hotel.

Prentiss House by Thatch | Queen Rm #19

This is a great option if you are visiting Cambridge. I was in town for work and had to have a rental car. Parking (extra) was easy. I was worried about a note I read regarding not having heat until the temp drops below 60° but my unit on the terrace DID INDEED have heat and it worked well. My cozy little room felt private and was very comfortable. I imagine it is super lovely to enjoy the terrace. during warmer seasons. I loved that I could walk around the corner to a natural wine bar and lots of restaurants with vegan options. I was able to easily pop onto the highways to get to my jobs but enjoyed walking all over Cambridge.
