Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Carlsbad Village

Loved Helen’s home! The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. And a quick 10-15 minute drive to surf swamis and Cardiff. The home had everything we needed, we would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Peter’s place. It was well located for our needs and provided us great access for sight seeing. The space was accommodating and welcoming for our group of 6!

We had a fabulous stay at Rosa’s cottage. The cottage is incredibly well decorated and had everything we needed to eat in, and to lounge at the house, and was close enough for us to walk into town and to the beach. The beds were delightfully comfortable and we loved the showers. Thank you for your flexibility with check in and out and how responsive you were when we had questions. The backyard is set up wonderfully with a table, hammock, fire pit and bbq. We used it a bit less than we thought we would as the I-5 traffic noise is quite loud but that just meant more time at the beach. Thanks again Rosa. We highly recommend your “cottage”.

The space itself was immaculate, showcasing a perfect blend of comfort and style. Beds were very comfortable. The decor was inviting, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was well-equipped. Overall, my stay was delightful, and I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The home looks just like the photos, clean and peaceful. We mentioned a possible issue with the hot tub and the host sent a technician immediately to alleviate our concerns. We enjoyed that and the yard almost every night! Everyone loved the game arcade set up in the garage! The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of toilet paper and paper towel was provided, which was extremely appreciated. We usually have to spend a lot of money on those items in other air bnb’s so we were very grateful for that. The beds and linens are so comfortable and blow dryers were provided in both bathrooms. The water does tend to get extremely hot so be careful about that. We would definitely stay here again!!🌟

We were able to visit the Tortoise and the Hare for a weekend retreat getaway and it did not disappoint! The serene feeling you get of being disconnected while also having all the necessary amenities was unreal. Each room was as described, if not even better! The heater and air conditioning worked well depending on the weather and the rooms provided ample amounts of places to sleep. We were able to utilize to Sauna as well as the other games and kitchen amenities. The hosts were very responsive and cooperative providing a seamless weekend for us to enjoy. They were also very accommodating to our additions of guests for the stay which was very helpful for our team We would 100% come back again for a beautiful time taking un God’s creation!

A sweet and simple rental that feels like a fair value. Exceptional host and centrally located for our needs. Would recommend. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the week at this airbnb. It was quiet and private*, we slept very well, and felt safe and secure. *There are downstairs neighbors and close proximity dwellings causing no ill effect. The bedding is crispy clean and bright white, as are the towels. We appreciate that this home is tidy but not precious. You can relax with your family and feel comfortable. The host is professional and helpful as a private hotelier ought be. Oddly specific: -There was no noticeable scent other than perhaps a spritz of air freshener. It dissipated by morning. -The showers are powerful and appropriately responsive to temperature adjustments. At time of writing there was no handheld shower option, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided (Costco products). There are ventilation fans. The water is hard. - One shared laundry room downstairs

The location can’t be beat, walkable to restaurants as well as a large shopping plaza, plus the bayside walk. Great layout and plenty of sunlight. Private patio a huge plus!

Really love this location. Right across the street from Sail Bay for morning and evening walks or bike rides, as well as easy access to shopping and restaurants in Pacific Beach. Close to all the access points to go north up the coast or into downtown San Diego. Hosts very hospitable and easy to communicate with. Accommodations neat and tidy and well stocked with all amenities needed. Have stayed here twice and it will continue to be our "go to" when we come to town.

Excellent place, great communication with the Stan, very clean and good location. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. We highly recommend this beautiful cozy place to stay!

James’s Place was amazing! It was very clean and neat. The instructions provided during check in and check out were easy to follow. James’s Place was also very comfortable, I felt right at home, The community amenities are so awesome that you hardly ever have to leave to enjoy yourself. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Great place to stay…highly recommend! Peter, the host is responsive and chill - always there to help. Great view, clean, comfortable bed, and an awesome location to everything Encinitas offers. We will be back!

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely come back for my future family stays!

Life is about making wonderful memories for yourself and others. And Vita Bella certainly did that for us and our families. Sue and Dennis were terrific throughout our stay and were very accommodating to our requests. The property was outstanding from the house itself to the backyard oasis to the front porch sunsets. Went for a quick weekend in California wine country and this house is absolute perfection! The pictures simply don’t do it justice, it’s far more gorgeous in person than it is in photos! To wake up every morning to bird song and enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking the hills of Fallbrook was absolutely what my group needed! We had 7 total in our group and the house fit us all super comfortably! I can’t say enough good things about Melinda, she was so accommodating and communicative and by far has been the best air bnb host I’ve ever encountered!

Sheila’s beautiful villa was absolutely what we needed after a long exhausting day with two toddlers at Legoland. We had stayed at a residence before here so we knew the layout and amenities more or less. It’s exactly what we expected and more. The beautiful pools (with a baby friendly pool), the kids club, the beautiful views, the delicious on-site restaurants, complimentary fruit-infused water, the adorable stuffed animal seals for the kids, and more. We loved that the kids could stay in the living room. Sheila had provided two cribs that were already set up prior to our arrival. The check-in was super smooth! We communicated for days before our arrival and we felt really happy with everything!!! We loved the amenities and after Legoland, we needed a bit of luxury and rest for ourselves. Thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely villa.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! We are local but we had friends staying from out of town and it was just a short drive from our house, close proximity to stores and shops but removed enough that you feel like you’re in an oasis! I can’t boast about the location enough. Unmatched! The house was cozy and the view was unbeatable. The towels and the linens on the bed were so soft, better than at a hotel. I also had shared with Elaine that I like to put cinnamon, nutmeg & turmeric in my coffee and she provided those spices with the coffeemaker 🥹 10/10 would absolutely stay again!!

Dear Holly, We would like to thank you for the most amazing and wonderful place for us to stay as our house is being repaired. It was a delightful and great experience for us. The two full months have flown by. We highly recommend this Home from the beautiful Gardens to the great pool and the out door barbecue. Once you are indoors there is everything anyone would need to entertain with crystal , china pot, Pans and most anything you might need . The decor is eclectic and interestingly lovely. The views are fabulous from any window you look out from! Needless to say we loved it and thank you for a wonderful two months!
