Shipping container holiday rentals in Central Texas

Had a great stay at Flop Houze, already looking forward to my return. Took a dip in the pool, an afternoon nap in the hammock and listened to tunes on vinyl while relaxing by the campfire. Loved the decor and attention to detail. Matt was super easy to work with, as I had to change my reservation and quick to respond. We even made friends with the barn kitty 😻. Truly delightful stay!

We went there to celebrate my daughter’s sweet 16. The girls loved the goals, fire pit for smores, and hot tub. A great time was had!

This was the perfect stay for two! While there were other cottages by us, it still felt very private. We loved the location and would definitely come back!

This is a great place to get away. The house had perfect amenities. The linens were extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The dipping pool was fabulous and perfect size. The location is ideal for all the things around town. Steve and Cindi was very sweet and easy to talk too. The only thing I could say is that the ac unit did not blow very well. Besides that, everything was great.

Great place to stay, park is a short distance

Jack and Amy's place was awesome. Clean, and plenty of room for my wife and I and our Frenchie, Chubbs. Chubbs loved running around outside in the field. Bed was comfy. A/C & Heat worked great. Kitchen had everything you need. Just bring food.....HEB is just down the road. Love the refrigarator too. Electric Hot plate was a hit. Bathroom, shower was great, hot water if you want it, they provided basically everything you would want or need. I always pack everything, but it was a nice surprise to find it all there for you. The only thing missing was tooth-paste, but seriously, who doesn't bring toothpaste or a toothbrush on vacation? It was a very relaxing trip, will stay again.

This is my second time in this house, and great place for a getaway with or without family. The host is very proactive and responsive. We love the simpleness, decluttered design where you have everything you need in the house. Planning to come back.

We booked this listing last minute when our travel plans changed unexpectedly and are so grateful it was available - exactly as described and just perfect for our needs. We love what they’ve done with the containers - felt at home right away. Comfy furniture inside, plenty of nice touches in the kitchen and great shower. We had fun with the axe throwing game and wish we’d had more time to enjoy the outdoor living area (but we were only there for one night). Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again if in the area. Thank you Debby for sharing your space with us!

This is probably one of the best AirBnbs my family and I have stayed at. Ellen truly thought of everything. The converted containers are so unique and cute and were supplied with everything your normal household would have. We could have literally just packed clothes and would not have needed anything else other than food. The outside area is absolutely beautiful with the surrounding pine trees. I loved that I was able to bring my dogs! My daughter was able to paint a rock and leave it at the house, which is something other guests have done as well and adds to the unique quaint look. I could honestly go on and on. Ellen was great with communication and very welcoming. My family and I have already discussed coming back in order to be able to stay longer. Definitely 10/10 !

Erik’s place was the perfect stay for our families trip to enchanted rock. Our kids LOVED all the animals and enjoyed walking around the property. Then kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay. And it was spotless! The bedrooms were a great size and the balcony was super cool! Erik, thank you for creating such a special place. My wife and kids have already asked if we could return!

Beautiful place in a very secluded area. It was quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful family trip. It did get quite cold (January) but the bedrooms have heat and we used the wood stove in the main room. Nicola was very responsive and friendly.

lovely quiet place off south congress within walking distance to so much, yet the house itself was very quiet. keyless check-in was easy and efficient. the place itself was clean and very comfortable for a few days. the mini-split handled the heating and cooling with the fluctuating weather. overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. thanks!

Very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated little cottage, exactly as shown in photos. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen/bathroom was stocked with the basic supplies. Good location, walkable(15 mins ) to town with all its restaurants , bars and cute shops, ( although the walk is down a busy Street with no sidewalk ) and set in a quiet residential neighborhood. Would definitely recommend when looking for a place to stay in central Fredericksburg.

I attended a wedding at St Mary’s church just down the road from Michael’s listing. The place was just as described, Michael and his dogs were so lovely and the ambiance of the property was most peaceful! I was lucky to have such a kind and flexible host. Would stay again :)

We enjoyed our stay at Michael’s home. Beautifully decorated and very cozy. Easy to find and in a very quiet neighborhood. Short drive to University Of Texas and great restaurants.

A great spot to get away from the city. It feels like your a million miles away from civilization, but are only minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. JD was super friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Checking in instructions were easy to follow. I recommend getting a bottle from a local winery and enjoying it around the fire pit. Would return again and recommend to friends and family. Super fun spot.
