Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Christchurch Central City

This was the perfect home for our group, it was bigger and even more beautiful than the photos. Plenty of room indoors and out, with a glorious sun-filled outdoor entertaining area. A true original Airbnb experience staying in someone’s much loved home! The kitchen was a stunning heart of the home and we loved lounging on the comfy sofas at the end of the day. Thank you for sharing your beautiful haven with us, we loved it!

Clean and tidy home that was as described. Lyttleton is a great little town on the outskirts of Christchurch, the views from Holly’s home are amazing and town is definitely walkable for restaurants and a spot of local shopping , there is a bit of a hill to walk back up if your into a bit of fitness. We loved our stay at Holly’s the facilities are great, clean and tidy, views incredible, and we found it easy to communicate our checkin and leaving times days with her. A lovely spot even on a windy day!!!

Stay was good. Clean and comfortable. Bonus was that it was right by a bus stop that took you straight downtown.

Nice house in a good area. All facilities you need. Easy commute to varous parts of Christchurch. Nice and close to a nice walking/running area. Would recommend.

We came together as a family to this home to celebrate Christmas. It was a beautiful place with stunning views. We could easily make dinners from scratch using all the kitchen equipment included in the home. One note for future AirBnb'ers to this property, the cleaning instructions are rather extensive along with the $160+ USD cleaning fee tagged onto the booking.

Stayed in early March 2025. J and G provided a very comfortable home-like feel in this beautiful location overlooking the beach, which is about a 10-minute walk down the hill. The views out the back window to the east are beautiful, and the central living area is very usable, with a deck attached and plenty of windows to soak in the views. The location is within a 30-minute drive of central Christchurch. We should have stayed longer than two days here!

A great apartment in a fantastic location. The place is bright, modern, and comfortable. It's right next to Cathedral Square and in walking distance of anything in central Christchurch. It also a good distance away from the new stadium construction which is a plus.

Great Location, coffee shop below was very good. Walking distance to Pak N Save, close to town - about 15 min walk, but it is all flat so very easy to get around.

Well appointed apartment with beautiful views. Had everything you need for cooking etc, a hot tub, air conditioning, and in a great location for central Christchurch. Would highly recommend for a couple.

Excellent mid city apartment for a two night stop over. Highly recommend

2 properties right next door to each other, it was good for our group of 10. The hot tubs, pool table, and darts board were a perfect end to our busy days. Less than a 10 minute drive to the city center which was great!

Maree hosts a fantastic, beautiful, comfortable renovated villa home in a superb location that remains private and serene. She was a great host and I could not recommend staying here highly enough.

Outstanding home - everything we could have wished for.

It’s a gorgeous house with a view that I’ve never seen from any other house before! It’s a bit of a drive to reach here with but it’s certainly worth it! Would definitely think of coming back!

Lovely old cottage tucked away at the end of a road. Easy walk through Hagley Park to the town centre. There was everything we needed to feel at home. Very clean throughout. Particularly enjoyed the cosy lounge to chill at the end of busy days in Christchurch. Roomy bedrooms and a great kitchen too. John gave us useful tips on getting the best from our stay. Highly recommend Brockworth Cottage.

A great place for a family gathering. We had different generations of our family meeting for a family wedding. Lovely and spacious with everything we needed. Beautiful home and gardens. Would love to stay again. Thank you so much.
