Unique Accommodation with Amazing Views
Lovely cottage and very handy for main road into Skipton but also beautiful walks from the door. We didn't move the car for 3 days, exploring Bolton Abbey and the steam railway. Very quiet and lovely bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

No 2 The Maples
Had a few days break here over Easter. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and in a fantastic quiet location. Would definitely stay here again.

A huge 5*cottage with private garden
Absolutely fabulous cottage-gorgeous location, super spacious and very well equipped.

Beautiful lake view holiday home stunning views
Had a lovely stay at Julie and Steve’s place, the caravan was clean, cosy well equipped and perfectly situated within the campsite. The swimming pool onsite was lovely and warm and at the time we went not too busy. The area and the scenery is lovely with plenty of local walks but also close enough to Manchester and Blackpool to add variety.

Cheerful 2-Bedroom cottage with indoor fireplace
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! It was incredibly clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The fireplace made for the perfect ambiance, especially in the evenings. The hosts went above and beyond, leaving thoughtful snacks and drinks, which was such a nice touch. Every detail was well thought out, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway and would definitely love to return!

Holiday Home in Tosside (sleeps 4 + infant)
Great stay and an amazing looking caravan with plenty of room inside. Highly recommend and we will be staying again at some point in the future.

6* Lux 3 bed Cottage Private Island lake district
We stayed at Thomas Gray House, 2 adults with 3 teenagers. We absolutely loved the location, stunning setting and lots of nearby walks with great views. A couple of really nice pubs to walk to in local village and we combined it with a trip to morecambe on one day and Windermere on another day which were both within about half an hours drive. Jerry was uber responsive for any questions and gave nice video instructions on how to access property etc.

Your guide to Clitheroe
All About Clitheroe
Situated on the banks of the River Ribble, Clitheroe is an ancient market town located in Lancashire County in northwest England. Dating back to Saxon times, the town has several historic sites of interest, including Clitheroe Castle, believed to be the smallest Norman castle in England. Today it houses a museum that is surrounded by 16 acres of beautiful gardens.
Clitheroe is also often used as a base for exploring nearby Pendle Hill as well as the Forest of Bowland, a nationally protected reserve known for its valleys, heather moors, blanket bog, and rare bird species. There are several popular cycle paths and walks, including one to the top of Pendle Hill where you can enjoy views that overlook the sea.
The best time to stay in a holiday rental in Clitheroe
The best time to visit Clitheroe is during the spring and summer, when the days are at their longest and it’s warm enough for picnics, hiking, cycling, and exploring the nearby Forest of Bowland area. June is also when you’re most likely to catch sea trout and salmon, and keen anglers with a permit can enjoy fishing in the nearby River Lune. Autumn can become quite cool in Clitheroe, although this is when the Lancashire area harvests its renowned apples. You’ll find some delicious cider and preserves marketed during this time of year. Winter can be very cold, and it often snows in Clitheroe in December, but this can be a great time for staying indoors and enjoying some hearty fare in the town’s restaurants and pubs.
